Question Custom recovery - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Guys I posted it earlier I was in pixel experience and then I again I shifted to miui in my redmi note 10 pro but as my camera was bad i decided to flash twrp IMG in adb . I had orange fox before doing it.then when I tried to flash twrp image in adb I got sending recovery finished error unknown command failed.and sometimes I got the disk may be corrupted.does anyone know what to do

have you used original cable? When I was trying to push twrp to phone using custom cable, it got me an error. When I tried the same with original cable, everything went fine.
Orange fox was working on your device? I'm looking for some other than twrp recovery, since twrp can be easily overwritten by miui.

Yes I was using my phone's official miui charger cable

is there any official ORANGE FOX for SWEET OR SWEET-IN?

I don't know what problem is this. Here is the link https://youtu.be/gvcj1V8XQwo I posters it in YouTube because it is quite hard to explain. I think no one has occur this problem. Any ideas how to fix it?
One plus 3 china a3000
Flash official twrp from one plus website
Successfully unlock bootloader
Install official op3 oxygen os
Successfully flash twrp official by one plus website
try flashing official recovery and sideload the full latest OOS.

oxygen os for OOS, then over the air update for ota.. twrp official by oneplus ?? oneplus would not provide twrp.. they will only provide their own stock recovery..
edit:

thats good sir.
i have china version op3 as well. what i did to flash OOS is just sideload thru stock recovery. i didnt even need to unlock bootloader. since they are both official OS.
so that might work for the original poster. just use stock recovery and adb sideload OOS

aassuming you know all the basics and you have computers around you, especially windows os.
1. download everything (latest full oxygen os zip found in downloads.oneplus.net, original oxygen recovery also found in that link)
2. boot to fastboot
3. flash original recovery (i believe you know how to flash, you have twrp in your oneplus 3, this should not be a problem to you)
4. reboot to recovery
5. choose adb sideload
6. adb sideload the latest oxygen os zip
you should really just follow step by step the instruction found in the downloads.oneplus.net, assuming you now have the original recovery, not the twrp.
tell me if you still can not follow. ill make a spoonfeed tutorial when i get home using pc. its really hard to write a step by step tutorial using phone.
@abraham I noticed you didn't wipe dalvik cache before installing the OOS. Try wiping dalvik cache, cache, data and system to see if that could solve the problem.

Tried every possible method. I use twrp official flash zip or adb side load also cannot. I tried using stock recovery also cannot. I tried using the hard brick way last night but after the flash, the phone is charging and I know it is OOS charging thing. Like you power off your phone and let it charge it wok come out a battery logo and charge your phone. I got that so I assume that I have OOS install. But when I power it on it also stuck at booting the phone. So tired right now being finding solution for about 2 weeks. Could it be the hardware problem that effect the phone?

if you were able to flash op3 twrp, then its not fake. the twrp you downloaded is designed for op3, right? if you have successfully flashed it, then its an authentic op3.
just return/exchange it if possible.
i have changed my Hydrogen OS to Oxygen OS smoothly. I didnt even need to unlock bootloader nor change recoveries.

Which TWRP did you try flashing? Official or modified one?
Try with modified 3.0.2-22, if you haven't yet.

Thanks for the reply.
Flashed modified 3.0.2-22 before flashing new CE build.
Post corrupting recovery partition, tried flashing back the same recovery...resulting in blackscreen tho.

I'm facing almost same situation, haven't flashed wrong twrp, have tried 3.0.2.22 and screwed up...not able to flash any other twrp. Have side loaded OOS 3.5.5 and rebooted to get official recovery and succeeded as well but as soon as have flashed official twrp resulting black screen. Again flashed 3.0.2.22 through fastboot mode and working... In short, I can't use any recovery other then 3.0.2.22. Any guidance and help would be highly appreciated....

I also use .22 recovery and no problem. The problem is not the recovery, its a noob problem.
indeed that seems to be the problem here.
Tried flashing modified recovery again (-22), successfully booted into recovery now.
What's causing this issue, any pointers guys ?
can't go back to official twrp for some reason.

Well accepted its noob problem, appreciating if you help us, instead of pointing noob @#$%.
Want to use multiROM but not able to flash any other recovery.
Any other way to hard reset the device which fixed recovery partitions (I'm sure we messed with partitions).
Edit: even I'm using 3.0.2.22 without any issues but if I want to use any other recovery(official twrp or multiROM twrp, not able to boot into it, truly noob thing as per your post)
Official TWRP is not compatible with CE ROMs. Try first flashing official OOS (3.2.7 or older) with -22 and then flashing official TWRP.

I'm trying to get stock recovery I have modified twrp but whenever I flash the cb full zip twrp doesn't get overwritten
To Reproduce the issue.
1. Flash modified TWRP (-22) version via fastboot
2. Flash CE ROM latest 3.5.5 from recovery
3. Reboot into system, successfully booted.
4. Tried flashing official TWRP, results in Blackscreen (in my case flashed incorrect TWRP, then flashed official one)
5. flashing back (-22) version of TWRP, recovery seems working...however if one wants to switch to official or MultiRom's TWRP, results in Blackscreen.
Hope this gives detailed understanding
Edit:
Gonna try the same with 3.2.7 OOS. Thanks Mate

Yeah, flashing full stock oos might do the trick, there's something related to firmware, it's a long story to understand and I'm not fully getting it, anyway, flash the full stock, boot it up, your device may get encrypted again and then flash the official twrp via fastboot, don't use flashify
I'll try to keep an eye out here rather than on the multi-boot thread

power off phone, keep pressed vol-up+vol-down and connect usb cable, phone will enter qualcomm download mode, then flash with MSM Download Tool.

now my Question:- pls help, enable us to get some knowledge
I want to use MultiROM, so decryption procedure will do.
1} if i again flash OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.5.5 Community Build as primary using MultiROM twrp, is it gonna work?
2} I want to use DU(MM), PAC-MAN(MM), exodus, MIUI, aicp (7.1) or HydrogenOS H2OS whats the best possibilities & way.
3} which one can be use as primary
4} can i flash FreedomOS CE 1.10 [OOS 3.5.5 CB] using multiROM twrp as primary?
5} can I swap FreedomOS CE 1.10 [OOS 3.5.5 CB] as secondary & flash HydrogenOS H2OS as primary?

How to get into TWRP after flashing it?

Hi all,
I have succesfully unlocked my NEM-AL10 (3GB China version), and using adb/fastboot I flashed TWRP on it from the TRWP.me site, Honor 5c.
now my problem is I cannot get into TWRP, tried the button combination Vol+ / Power with and without the cable plugged in.
when plugged in: goes into Huwei erecovery --> no use
when not plugged in: goes only to "your devices has been unlocked and can't be trusted, your device is booting now" ad then is stuck there...
how to get into TWRP? I want to flash the GAPPS, and need a custom recovery for that....
please help....
you need to find the correct version of twrp for your model its somewhere on xda cant remember where..
Try to flash this TWRP. See if it works. Use adb commands. Here is the link : http://www.meticulus.co.vu/p/hi6250-custom-rom-installation.html?m=1
actually,
found out that needed the Chinese TWRP, that one does flash and run(got it from russian site)

now ran into the error 70 when trying to flash mini apps, flashed the pico, but then launcher didn't work anymore... any solutions for that?

Actually TWRP does give a warning while flashing gapps when ur Stock rom already presents all the necessary google apps u need.
Chinese stock rom does not have any google apps... so that cannot be the issue

For me it worked to just hold the Volume Up button when the phone was rebooted from command line. Do not keep the Power button pressed. This caused TWRP to load and overwrite stock ROM properly, otherwise it just gets overwritten in boot. I have the Honor 7 Lite version sold in Europe though, but I think it works the same.

Stuck in Fastboot. Won't boot into TWRP or System. It wont even turn off.

Hi everyone. Please help, I am stuck in Fastboot and it wont boot into TWRP nor the System. This happened after I restored a backup of the System partition using TWRP.

Thanks to everybody who gave their advice here. For me, it was a PC problem (or adb driver problem). I factory reset my PC cause I have cloud backup, and started the process clean. From there, I only downloaded Minimal ADB and Fastboot. Then I tried MiFlash, and the flashing process went through without any errors this time.
Hello,
I have the same problem, screen stuck on Fastboot.
It happened after having cleared up too much with TWRP.
I can't figure out how to flash back the original rom.
I see lot of tutorials and roms but nothing really clear.
I downloaded Mi Flash Pro.
Questions:
- Where can I find the last official rom for Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro / Redmi K20 Pro? (for European Union)
- How can I use Mi Flash Pro to re-install it back?
Thanks a lot for your help

Mi 9 won't boot into Android

Alright lets start... I bought Mi 9 about 2 months. I just like to work with phones and mess up with Roms, recoverys, etc. I started it about 4-5 years ago with Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus. When i lost that phone i bought HTC M8 and also do the same (mess up with software). With Mi 9 i couldnt wait for Miui11 and tried to install it via Twrp. Unlocked bootloader installed Twrp via Fastboot, and every time when i restarted phone Miui stock recovery would overwrite Twrp. I searched everywhere and found some "solution". It was when you install Twrp via fastboot you need to write Fastboot boot Twrp.img, something like that im not really sure. Well that worked, kindof. Twrp would always appear but it cant boot into Android. And like always i tried to to solve it myself but i cant for two days of working without stopping i cant solve this. I tried to install different Rom (Miui 11 all versions) and it would install but wont boot. I tried Stock Miui Rom, i tried Factory img almost everything. Tried with adb, Miflash tool, All in one tool for Mi 9. I really love this phone i worked every day on summer for this phone. Thanks. If someone read this and want to help for more information just ask.

You need Miflash pro. Search for it. Sounds like you have some kind of recovery bootloop. If you can get your Mi9 to the fastboot (bootloader) screen then you can fix your cell an get it to boot . Trust me on this. I must of made flashing errors with my Mi9 maybe 20 times an got stuck in a fastboot loop.
Heres a link https://androidmtk.com/use-mi-flash-pro-download-xiaomi-firmware
Follow the guides an you should have a working Mi9 in under 20 minutes.
Sometimes there can be trouble getting the latest version of Miflash pro an it requires a bit of tinkering to flash with it.
Not sure that this would help but here is what I did to install Xiaomi.EU ROM in my Mi 9. I followed the guide from this forum here.
Prerequisite:
Download TWRP 3.3.1-42 for Cepheus from Mauronofrio here
Download Xiaomi.EU ROM here
Rename both files to twrp.img & rom.zip respectively (for easy typing later)
Steps:
Power off phone
Boot phone to fastboot - Vol Down + Power
type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" without the double quotes
Power off phone
Boot phone to recovery - Vol Up + Power
Type "adb push rom.zip /tmp/" without the double quotes
In TWRP, go to Wipe-Format Data-type yes in TWRP
Then perform a Factory Reset in TWRP
Then flash ROM located in tmp
And finally reboot to system
I hope this helps.
