[TUTORIAL] TRANSLATE THE CYANOGENMOD ROM TO xxxxx LANGUAGE

For all those asking for having the ROM on their own language here I post the basic Steps.
Here you can find the files in english with all the text:

RULES:
At array files do not translate nothing that has "*_values*" on the name ( just remove this part from tranlated file )
Use unix utf-8 coding to save the fale ( for windows users, use notepad++ better than other ) ( end of line LF )
Do not translate if is said as non tranlatable in the line ( same as point 1 )
Thats all ...
With this you can do it by your own

Is there any way to find the state of the translation in a specific language? I mean which apps are already translated and even apps that are in progress from someone else, to don't do same work again?

Problem with new teclast X98 Air with Windows 10

Hi,
i got my x98 Air with Android 5.0 and windows 10 (from geekbuying) and have a problem within Windows 10 :
I tried to change the default language from chinese to english / german but have the problem that only programs are shown in english. all the settings and other part of windows are still shown in chinese letters.
What i could read with an camera-translator-app is that the windows 10 is a chinese version, and it seems that even if you install different languages you can not change the whole windows to english...
Already tried to reinstall the windows10 with the MS-Tool but it is still chinese only.
Is it perhaps possible to change it somewhere in BIOS (default language?) or is there a chance to get an european windows 10 on that ? is there anything that can be done with cmd commands ?

Try to find solution on youtube. You should search for "How to change language windows 10".
You should easly download the language pack.

Hi . Found out that windows 8.1 before was only single language and so win 10 was only chinese support. solved that by updating to pro (from home) edition and so language pack install was allowed. geekbuying sent me an mediafire rar pack after that to solve it. if anybody has interest pm me. seems to be something like a flash file.

Hi marekpipe I have the same problem with my teclast. I can't change the language from Chinese to Greek

I have the same tablet and i have no problem rto install italian language in ALL the parts of windows 10 system..if you haven't solve yet, i can help you as soon as i go home

i made this step:
settings>language>geografic area> and i select Italy in the first tab...then i clicked on ADD LANGUAGE and i selected ITALIAN LANGUAGE.
Then i select ADDITIONAL SETTINGS in the bottom of the same menu and then i saw Italian language (if not, click to ADD LANGUAGE and select your language). Click on OPTION on the left of you language and select YOUR LANGUAGE into all sub-menu.
At the end, go back TWO TIMES and click on "change geografic area" sub-menu. In the new window that will be open, go to OPTION ADMINISTRATOR>COPY SETTINGS and select the TWO SQUARE BOXES on the bottom...then click OK and reboot the system. sorry if the name of the menus are not the same as i wrote but i'm translating from italian language if you have problems, write me!
ps: someone make root to teclast x98 air 3g (c5j8 version)?? because i can make root with kingoroot/vroot/framaroot method..

Hi, thanks for your reply! I was not able to set the geographic area, because I didn.t know what my geographic area is in Chinese writing.....
I solved my problem by doing a complete reinstall of Windows 10. Now everything is fine!

[Solved][Help Request] Are you Russian? I just need 1 minute

Hello there! I'm an italian boy who is developing many custom roms thanks to Xda (I'm working on a Takee1, a galaxy ace and a Mediacom tablet)
I need to download several files from the (Mod Edit: link removed) but unfortunately I can't register an account :crying: I even tryed translating the webpages in english or italian with my browser extension but there's a captha (Mod Edit: Images removed)

Get the russian Yandex browser to automaticaly translate russian and chinese into italian or any other language. It is a wise choice, because it can translate images by OCR too. Check the screenshots.

However, Google translator of the Chrome browser is more accurate for normal text.
Microsoft Translator app is a good help too.
I have been using the XDA app for automatic translation of links to the (Mod Edit: Reference to Warez site removed). It does a good job.

Thank you @YuriRM, actually I use opera on linux + the s3.translator extension and the result is awesome! Unfortunately, to complete this captcha knowing the cyrillic alphabet is absolutely necessary moreover the captcha refreshes after a few minutes.
