So on August 30th, I bought 10 SamKEY credits from an Ebay vendor with 98% positive feedback and I managed to log in, but decided to change the CSC on September 1st

Today September 1st, to my surprise, I found that my account got blocked for no reason, I contacted SamKEY support and Ebay vendor but till this moment no reply, and I doubt that they will reply.
Edit, got a reply from the vendor saying that " He is just a reseller and He doesn't have access to user accounts"
So take care and don't make my mistake by trying these apps.
That's not issue with samkey, it's the issue is with the reseller. You should gotten the keys from samkey directly
Update, still no reply from SamKEY support .
NEVER NEVER USE SAMKEY, WORST SUPPORT EVER , HE THINK YOU SPY HIS TOOL XD BCZ THEIR COMPETENCE IS BETTER , VSH GSM SHOULD BLOCKED YOUR ACCOUNT EVEN IF TOOL FAILS ALL YOUR CREEDITS GONE
FOR CSC CHANGE THERE ARE BETTER AND FREE
What the hell is this? I was planning to buy SamKey. Could you please explain your problem with more proper text? Why that guy shouting you like crazy in live chat. It's a damn not proper way to do talk with customer.
And what are the alternatives of SamKey.
Its coder and product support of samkey and yes this is what he talk to his customers
Well tbh this is not a matter of using the program or not. Samkey is the only way right now of changing csc you should just buy less credits enough for doing what you need to do. Get 3 credits for 10 euro change csc and don't think about it. I don't mind paying for 3 and using one, I changed csc for 10 euro, fair price.

The all-caps suggests anger or frustration in your post. Also, the messages are cropped to just the bad part and not shown in full context.
As for them not reply, if you had someone selling fake product keys which resulted in "customers" that have not paid you for the product expecting hours of your time trying to resolve or explain keys sold by resellers are not legit it would take you away from supporting customers that have paid you for the product.
If I was buying keys I would go direct so I had the support available if I had to use a reseller I would confirm with the product owner that the reseller was legit.
If that chat was real in the image, who's to say the person was not trying to trick support and they had called them out. If I was dealing with someone trying to rip me off I would not be calm and polite.
Without the full context, you cannot truly know what is going on from 8 lines of text.
Well your word speak that you dont know nothing about this job, as you see in my nick i was more 20 years of experience and know everything and each coder of each application and whatever i have more conversation from more people but nothing stop you from buy even in the same page can bought and same you always been blocked someday you will remember my words , you can search in google and google will reply you

Hi to all i was just wondering if it is illegal to mod other peoples phone because i am in school and i mod peoples phone you know give them root and change boot img (like the T-mobile G1/My Touch 3G) and my dad thinks its illegal and want me to stop he also thinks that some one is going to connect it to a bomb and blame me i just want to get some other peoples views and such thanks for you feed back!-)
wut?
android is open source.
LOL.
Q&A Subforum. Kthnx.
It is actually highly illegal to post questions like that in this section of this forum. You will notice that when your post is removed by the powers that be.
It's not illegal to root your phone, but rooting your phone makes it possible to do illegal things.

For one, don't post it anywhere else.. allow the mods to move it for you to the proper location, that way you don't have two pointless threads about the same pointless topic.
For two, are you for real? Do you actually think that modding a phone is something that an individual would be prosecuted for even if it is violating terms of service?
well Microsoft did prosecute that on kid in collage for modding xbox's

Most likely copyright infringement for playing burnt 360 games on xboxlive which that hack supposedly allowed him to do while remaining "untraceable".
Well microsoft doesn't have a developer xbox but there is a htc phone that has a developer version that is rooted. And android is open source. The only thing that can go wrong is that you void ur warranty. But this section is for develpment only. Please all questions in Dream Q&A section next time

Where would you post a Question & get an Answer? I don't know if such a thing exists. If it did I imagine it might be labelled something like Q&A but what do I know?
When you buy hardware, the hardware is yours to keep and use as you see fit, there's no such thing as licensing hardware (yet, though M$ is trying, fight the man etc...), what you could get in trouble for, though, is if the images you're flashing to your friend's phones contain any copyrighted material, such as google apps or HTC's proprietary binaries. Just make sure you don't become world famous and you should be ok, it's not illegal if you're not caught, huh?
Ahahhhahahahaahahahahahahhahahahhahahaahahahahahhaahha! Ok, now that I got that out of my system. It is not illegal to mod an electronic device. When it becomes illegal is when you mod the device to do illegal actions, like play burnt copies of video games, or run illegal version of operating systems, etc. With that said, modding your g1/mt3g is just fine. As long as your not modding the phone to be a detonator for a nuclear bomb, your fine. Be sure to issue a disclaimer before modding anyone's phone. You don't want anyone coming back to your demanding money for a bricked phone. Just let them know that your trained in what you do, but there is still no guarantee that everything will go as planned. I've modded a couple of peoples g1's and I had them reply to an email with my personal disclaimer. Just as a back up...
I swear I just answered this question in a different post in a different section with exactly the same name.....hmm curious.......

if you ever get popular like him and earn a reputation for flashing proprietary ROMS, HTC, Moto, etc might go after you one day, but I bet my bottom dollar its never going to happen
Notice I only mentioned flashing, everything else is legal as its your own hardware and you can use it to your hearts desire
The kid modding xbox was 1. circumventing DRM protection, which is illegal, and 2. re-using M$' copyrighted material (firmware) to install in the xbox. Whatever he did to the hardware was perfectly legal as long as the software and methods were all free and legal.
Edit----
Also, giving your friends root might be illegal, is it cannabis root by any chance? (sorry, I had to)
While we are on the subject of legality

I was with a friend waiting at Wal-Mart one time when they printed a great deal on the PS3. Turns out it was a misprint on details of a game/movie combo. We didn't think it was a big deal, but a restless mother that was waiting before us wouldn't let it go so we got a bit of a bonus, too!

Maybe I'm missing something, but there are literally thousands of websites selling unlock codes, none of them have any relation whatsoever to Motorola, or to the providers. This tells me that it must be very easy to generate these codes, and yet it seems very difficult to find out how by searching online (any legitimate information is drowned out in the sea of people grabbing at your wallet)
If you're not paying your carrier for an unlock code, why should you pay some random person on the net when theoretically it should be easily enough done yourself.
That rant over with... does anyone know how to calculate the unlock codes for a milestone? (other than the thousands of people who want money for it)
I was thinking the exact same thing a couple days ago... If there's so many sites that can unlock your device for you, there must be a simple tool out there somewhere that can generate the unlock code...
How to unlock a Verizon phone. (motorola Droid and etc)

I like the way you think. In fact i was thinking the same damn thing. Im looking at the phone now and trying to figure out how someone can generate a code through the internet.
Now there are unique serial identifiers, which in the history of coding (cd-keys and the like) is either a static, time or defined variable based scheme.
The question of "how do these companies(most small private types) know about this..." while I cannot find any definitive answer through google, is interesting. So lets eliminate the impossible. Whats left, however improbable, must be the truth.
Through the internet... unique identifiers... small companies(legit?)... secretive process... hmm...
*thinks*
---------- Post added at 09:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:13 AM ----------
BOOM! I just figured out how those ***holes do it. The websites you see for unlocking (and services therein) is what i like to call an "Ignorance Exploit" Following the logic: Phone is locked - to what?= A cellular provider. But! the phone is owned by YOU so you should be able to do whatever you want with it, right? Yes. The unlocking is done by motorola themselves via an intermediary. (a slight roundabout for security reasons i imagine) Like... Verizon. You have to somehow contact motorola and get the unlock code. But motorola may ask "why are you unlocking it? is it stolen?" at least i think maybe. So the phone can be unlocked by the provider... Call your provider or contact Motorola directly and you can unlock your phone. The specific information however, i do not have.
Oh yeah and those people who run those sites know this, do it themselves and charge a nice overhead for the "service" Muahahaha exploitation of ignorance DENIED
I used to think this, however these people manage to get the unlock codes cheaper than the providers sell them, so there's something else going on...
Subscribed. I would love to know what is happening with all these.
If you look at the iPhone, there are methods of unlocking through hacking and exploits. So similar might be happening.
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2
Except that these people do it cheaper than the provider does. Something else is going on... somehow tons of people are making money at this illigitamite business. And we have the choice of supporting it, or paying even more to the carriers. I want the third option. Do it myself however the parasites do it.

Websites use software to generate network unlock codes (Like SETool for sony devices). Many of these softwares requires credits to generate codes, thats why you are charged.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio X315e using Tapatalk 2
So where do these tools come from? I doubt the providers are supplying them. So someone is still managing to break the unlock codes somehow. So why can't we do the same thing?
I just asked the support guys on an unlocking site (a very cheap one, I might add) and here's how the conversation went:

Not saying that I completely trust that answer, but it did appear to be a live person answering the question, and they offer 24 hour service with a turnaround time of 1-2 hours. I know for a fact that TELUS can't accommodate an unlock request that quickly.
This is worth investigating...

Next i feel ambitious im gonna call up motorola directly and ask them the legals.

Not sure what the €4 thing is all about but there's another link on his site that says it's €30 and other users from here have said "I've provided serial, IMEI and phone model. They sent me a code by an e-mail. You don't need to use team viewer."
I've seen enough decent posters on the other thread confirm it's legit and if it's the only option then I think I'll do it myself, just as soon as he's got some space.

no, it says "Currently our service is supported for Huawei phones with Android security patch levels released before June-July 2018." But paying 129 for 1 unlock is a bit to much isn't it since most users here dont own a phone shop.

That's exactly why I didn't buy one. I'm wondering whether the people providing codes now are able to generate then with these kind of tools rather than getting them through Huawei, which would be very unlikely as far as I can see.
Hey guys, first of, I want to thank you for reading the post.
So I've recently bought a new S21 Ultra from Korea, on the seller's page it was stated that it's unlocked. The issue I had when I received the phone is that it starts up with the carriers (SKT(Korea Telecomm)) splash screen, and what this means is that when I entered in. I was forced to install all of SKT apps. And I can't disable them or anything. And when I put in my local sim card to test it, I could call people and it was technically working fine. But when I was using mobile data. It only activates 3G/LTE, although my sim is 4G+ and I've been using it with my all phone all the time. I've also come to noticed that there is a SKT connection thing in my setting, and I noticed that my local sim card is actually classified as a overseas sim card. So it's as if the phone is thinking I'm mobile data roaming all the time. I need help with this, is there anyway to get rid of it? I've got a screen shot to explain what's happening.

I think so as well. Man....
No.. what are you talking bout? You didn’t buy it from Samsung? you’re phone is unlocked! How else are you able to make calls?? You would have no service and your phone would give a SIM card error if it was locked. You need to change your APN settings according to your carriers. Thats it you’ll have full speed internet after you change your APN settings, to your US carriers APN, it’s currently on the Korean carriers that’s why it’s showing as overseas. Google APN settings for your carrier.
Your splash screen will always show the Korean carrier cuz it’s their device originally, if you want to change it you have to root it first. Dudes splash says Samsung cuz his is factory unlocked, it never was locked to any carrier. He bought it from Samsung directly which is why there’s no carrier stuff anywhere.
Yo OP if someone says something weird you don’t have to agree with them, you should ask them to clarify instead, that way you can correct them if they’re wrong which in this case you missed, they pointed you in the wrong direction, which certainly didn’t help you. To an outsider like myself you both seem crazy, obviously y’all have no idea what y’all talkin bout and I know it didn’t get resolved cuz the only way is my solution.
Do you reside in Korea, if not why aquire the Korean variant? If you add up all the different S21 Models then factor in all the different Service Provider's it's over one-hundred different variants. That's pretty much on Samsung, no other device manufacturer has anywhere near this many variants, it's absolutely absurd! Anytime you install firmware that doesn't match your device’s Primary CSC you should expect conflicts. If there's any comfort in the fact that thousands if not millions of users are in the same boat as you. If you need full Call Feature Compatibility it's always best to aquire your Service Provider's device. A bit of research goes a long ways when it comes to Samsung's numerous offerings.
You have to change the APN to which ever carriers APN you are using... that simple.
If you don't know how to do so. Let me know
