Thanks for your efforts with writing this tutorial but there seems to be a glitch with CWM that maybe you could update the OP with and that is that some of our devices do not like some versions of CWM, v5.0.2.7 and v4.0.0.4 both ended up with a fast rolling screen in Recovery but ClockworkMod_Recovery_v5.5.0.4_P75xx.tar from here http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/?page_id=8 was successful although I'm not sure of the differences between them are but I have noticed that some of our members here have v5.5.0.4 listed in there specs that is why I thought I would try it out.
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager shows this to be for the following devices.
Asus Transformer
Google Galaxy Nexus (CDMA)
My Specs
TELUS GT-P7510/16GB/WIFI free with bundle deal.
SKU: GTP7510UWR
SW-VER: VLKL2

Thank you!
PS, Thanks for making the videos, much easier to watch in the middle of the night than reading words!
Great video review on the aokp 10.1... Also nice XPS laptop...
Will this method work if I have an encrypted tablet running ICS. I am unable to decrypt via the OS, hoping the Odin will help me out here.

What did you install? if it is a Rom that you installed search The ROMs thread for "YouTube not working" or "app not supported" if it’s a problem or/and has a fix then the search will yield results.

I don't believe you’re in the right forum for these questions; Try the Q&A forum also when asking in the right forum you will probably get helped faster if someone knows what you are talking about.
The answers to your Q's have already been discussed multiple times just search you will see!
Thanks for making me understand.. I should be on AOPK rom forum.
I search on Q&A.

Tried to unroot, now I have this. Been trying to flash through Odin (PDA md5 file only), gets to 'system', goes about 10 minutes then fails. Nothing on sd card. Im hoping I can save this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a retail Wifi.
I have the correct USB drivers and can see it in device manager but not in explorer. I do not have the correct ADB SDK, cant seem to find it.
Been reading several threads and watching vids on youtube, nothing seems to do the trick. Im stuck but hopefully not bumming.
Hey everyone.
Seeing the fact that we're not going to get our subforum soon I thought we could settle up here.
SGM2 community is growing now, phone is becoming more and more popular, so I was guessing we could use thread for summing up work made for now.
Everyone can post threads related to developing for SGM2 (rooting, roms, kernels) so all new users can easily find everything here rather then searching through forums.
Thanks everyone.

Hello brother,
I just want to ask. is Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 using ARM v6 or v7?
because in here, we can see that Galaxy Mini 2 is using MSM7227A with ARM v7.
But in gsmarena, they are pretty sure to write on their review, that Galaxy Mini 2 is using ARM v6.

To be honest. Noone knows exactly. I have some arguments.
1. Version of phone GSMarena used is probably different bevause they statted that screen is 256k colors
2. Our processor supports flash so I believe it's armV7. I had galaxy 3 before and it didn't have flash support and was using v6

MSM7227 is 600MHz ARMv6 ARM11 (ex. Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570)

possible source for the gpu in the near future?
Possible cm7 in future
Open source will be never released, maybe new drivers
Well since broadcom is looking into the rom of the Y or Ace (not sure which one, because the topic was about ace, but was posted in Y Section) It is probably going to have full CPU and GPU Drivers

Well let's hope so, so we can get CM7.2 on this baby? Also the broadcom guy just posted a new reply to that topic.
Any developers from here care to go over and offer what info they can to help speed this along or whatnot? He asks about the "Y" in his latest reply, if the sources are released will the devs be able to use them for CM7.2 for our S5380i?
Hi paradoxiumwind
you have to read a little more of Galaxy Ace "S5830" S5830 Young Galaxy and have the same CPU, same GPU, videocam IV .. totally the same drivers, the only thing that has more Galaxy Ace S5830 is a flash and other veicina screen 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches ... I use Ace S5830 And talking with Broadcom to release some of the drivers that are essential, Broadcom seeks solutions to dismiss some of the drier gpu, to Mogo to create CyanogenMod, AOKP, AOSP ... and I understand for a lot more applications ... A full drivers for the GPU will come out a little later...

Thanks for the explaination, so since they're basically the same hardware when they release the source for the "Y", we (I mean the devs) can use it for our i to get CM7.2?

Yes.
Yes, I think they will only need to be replaced LCS Density from 120 to 160. or in the extreme case, to update and to add some more oddatak .. The whole system is done everything works great, but we can not be installing, means You can not get to the entrance, squardzone tested and missing his only got one driver ... look at the dialogue I think there you have everything else you need
will we able to see ICS or JB?
now a question... I know, is too soon, but, will we be able to see Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean in our loved devices? I'd like to help...

CM9 & CM10 Work Perfectly on galaxy GIO too. And apart from a greater PPI value, galaxy gio is lesser in sepcs as compared to Ace-i. I also think (And Hope) CM9 & 10 should work like a charm on 5830i as well in the near future. :good:

Specs do not matter much to run CM9/10. But you need good specs to run it smoothly. Even HTC G1, the first android phone, has Jelly bean but it lags.
Availability of drivers for chipset matters the most.

It means cyanogen wont provide a official CM9 for our device. But developers here can make a port or tweak it to run in our device once all sources regarding the CPU/GPU/kernel are available.

Hello,
Forgive me if the answer is obvious. It is just that I have recently bought this phone and I already have some ROMs which I installed for my friend's S3.
No, it doesn't. The S3 uses a different CPU and has higher specs (camera etc). Only ROMs buiilt for the S3 mini would work; take a look at Oliver's CM or MacLaw's ROMs. I'm sure there's more ROMs, take a look in the android development subforum.
