Hello
Since yesterday I have a problem with the WLAN at my ZenFone8. The device carried out a reboot on its own and afterwards the WLAN is switched off and can't be reactivated.
Also several reboots and resetting the wireless adjustments didn't fix the issue.
Has anyone an idea how I can solve the problem?

Hi everyone,
I was driving from Wash DC to Montreal about 3 weeks ago. Once I got to Syracuse NY my N1 just froze. I took off the battery and then it wouldn't boot. ( I was running frf50 + froyo radio since the first day it was leaked). I thought maybe a routine wipe would fix it. It didn't work. I was out of options and had to wait until I get to montreal to use a laptop and see whatsup. Once in Montreal I downloaded a Rordriguez Froyo and the phone booted up. Now the problem started. Wifi doesn't work. Whenever I turn it on it says unable to scan for networks and then another error pops up saying " Sorry! Activity wifi settings (in application settings) is not responding." I tried a million different roms and radios and the problem persists... Yesterday I flashed another froyo rom and wifi worked and actually connected to my home WLAN. Then suddenly it stopped working again... Can anybody help me? this is so frustrating, especially since I have only 2 bars of EDGE in my basement. I think it might be the Wifi driver that is causing all this. If somebody can link me with the Wifi driver I might be able to fix this problem...
Thanks!
PS: All radio related stuff work ( bluetooth, 3G...)
if you flashed a lot of roms....and it didnt work, chances are its a hardware issue, not a wifi driver issue as thats reinstalled with all roms
Hi everybody,
first of all, i'm german and i hope my english is good enough to explain my strange problem
I'm using CM10 by Ivendor (thx for the great work) on my SGS+. It worked for months without problems. Yesterday a friend asked me why my SGS+ is off. It wasn't off, but there was no data connection. It says WLAN is connected, 3G is connected, but both icons were grey and no data is transported. I disabled WLAN, and the 3G icon went blue and i got my data connection back. But evertime i enable WLAN, it will connect to my network, but i can't send/reicieve any data.
So, i thought maybe something on the ROM is broken or something like that. I updatet to the latest version (1.0) but i still have the same problem. Did anybody heared before from that strange problem, or is my phone hardware broken?
Would be great if anybody could help.
Regards, Keith
Hi again,
i fixed the problem and my sister should play lottery. She also has a smartphone and she was using the same IP like mine. In our network there are six computers and threee phones, DHCP is disabled and my phone got the 187 at the end of the IP, and my sister was using the same All is good now, sorry for this thread but i thought something like that never could happen to our small network and so i really don't checked that thing.

Hello,
i have experiencing problem with wifi. its connected. after connected its disconnected few minutes later.
please resolve this issue.
and screen lock is looks awful, its overlapped. please resolved it.
if you know solution please comments.
Thanks.
first off if you dont want certain thing in a rom change it, and regarding the wifi problem, try restarting your wifi router, if the problem persists? reflash the kernel and rom
It happens mostly when the screen is off (even though I have the always on setting enabled) but also when using the phone normaly. Suddenly I get a toast that I was connected to my WiFi. I've also checked the router logs an I see that the honor 5c is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. Does anybody else have this problem? I'm on latest emui 4.1.2 without root or any other mod. I played with different channels and frequencies but that didn't help at all. Any ideas? I think it has to do with the battery optimization settings of marshmallow but even on the performance setting the WiFi connectivity just drops.
Whoever finds this will be my hero
In the wifi settings, just check that, "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" is set to always or not. If not then set it to always.
Edit : Sry i haven't read ur post properly. Is this the problem from the starting? Coz i don't have this issue.
I think I noticed this problem since the beginning but after flashing the latest 4.1.2 it got worse. Skype and WhatsApp calls get disconnected while screen is off (after 15 seconds or so).

The problem was with the original Rom and the reason why I flashed the latest.
Exactly the same issue.

Hello,
I have exactly the same issue. I checked also dhcp mode in the developer tools.
Did you found a way to solve it ?
Changing the router solved the problem.
Guys, I updated my 7 plus with the 8.1 update (400 something update) along with the 1 June 2018 patch and everything was working perfectly. But after some time my WiFi is not connecting to any routers. The SSID comes up, shows "Connecting....Saved" and then dissappears. When I kept it at close range...close range as in my phone touching the router...it gets connected. I tried factory resetting and still no use.
Did anyone else encounter this problem ? A fix would be very very very very very much appreciated. :/
