ok so im talking about lockscreen_widget by rori if im not mistaken.
i installed it as an apk file, but now i cant uninstall, just get an error saying "uninstall not successful", stuck. any way to bypass this?
cant find it in system/app either.
sorry for double posting, but i have found a solution.
- Uncheck Device Admin from "Settings > Location & Security >" Select device administrators and uncheck "the app".
Things that are installed are in /data/app/.

I just rooted 1.3 and Im trying to enable non market apps but cant find the enable box in nook tools. did i do something wrong
menu > settings > applications > "check first box" Unknown sources.
I have this problem too, looks lots of 1.3 rooted with the same problem. Just use this enable box to select it, it's OK can't see it.
ok its the first box. Did not realize that it did not say "unknown sources"
After returning 4 HDs that developed charging and other problems following the setting of the "allow unknown sources" flag, we decided not to tempt fate with the 5th Nook HD and then I discovered that apks can be installed via ADB, bypassing the Android setting. There is a drawback, of course--the apps cannot self-update.
I did this with a copy of an apk that's no longer available in the PlayStore and which I had already installed on my NT/CM10. What I forgot was that this package came with an Aptoide Store app attached. The desired app installed on the Nook HD and runs fine, but we now get periodic random messages like "this app cannot be installed" blah, blah, blah. I'm assuming this is because the Aptoide store is trying to install itself, but of course is blocked by the Android setting that won't allow unknown sources.
My question: where do you suppose this uninstalled package is hiding? If I try to use the ADB uninstall command as if it were already installed, will that expunge it?
Hi all,
i've a problem with my Bluetooth on my device. I tried several Roms (Samsung Stock / deblured / CM 10 , 11, 12 / Ressurection ) / wiped the cache / dalvik also the internal storage nothing helps. On all Roms after restart of the device i got the message (Bluetooth share has been shutdown.). This message comes up several times.
I need to close through the BLuetooth Share under the apps several times and then the message does not appear anymore.
I havent found any way to get rid of this message and get Blueetoth back to work. As WLAN is working fine (afaik same chip) it needs to be a software issue.
i've also checked the efs folder. there is a bluetooth file with the bluetooth adress.
Can someone please help me?
Thanks
Maves
No one an idea?
Hey guys,
I got myself a new Tab S5E LTE ( to have data connection). However I dont find "Call and message continuity" anywhere. Supposing its only for the wifi version. Which is pointless as LTE doesnt mean phone if you have a dataonly card.
Is there any way to get the feature to the LTE s5e tablet? I rooted it and tried installing APK but it still says "failed"
Thanks!
Robin
copying APK to system app worked. However I cant login to Samsung account . - login failed.
Howto get Call and Message Continuity on S5E LTE
Hey,
I finally got this working.
First you have to root your S5E ( Instructions here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...samsung-galaxy-tab-s5e-sm-t725-t3926742/page2 )
Then download the APK for call and message continuity from internet, copy it to device.
Boot your tablet in "Rooted mode"(vol up and power)
Install the APK via "FX Explorer" with root addon enabled (click on open with and then select FX Root installer, will fail ). Then in FX Explorer copy the app to /system/app/ ( create a new folder, mine is called . CMC). Reboot phone into magisk mode again - it should be visible in settings now. However if you click to enable it you cant as you currently cant add your samsung account.
Reboot your tablet once more, this time in "normal" unrooted mode - add samsung account - done.
