I unlocked the bootloader a while back and flashed TWRP.
I'm on version c.31 and I would like to restore the phone to stock condition (stock recovery and lock bootloader).
How exactly would I do this? Is this a simple flash that resets everything?

Hi, I am running ARHD 10.3 with the new updated firmware, should I wish to go back to stock to take the official 4.2.2 update when it arrives (made a backup using twrp before I flashed twrp recovery) do I just restore my stock backup and do I have to relock my bootloader?
I believe you'd need both a stock recovery as well as a locked bootloader. Flashing an RUU would be an easy route, or restoring the Nandroid Backup, flashing stock recovery and locking bootloader. I am not so sure you actually need a locked bootloader, but do it just to be safe.

Click to collapse
Thanks I have stock recovery in my backup
Well then all you need is to relock the bootloader and unlock it after receiving the OTA update. Again, I am not sure if you actually need to do that, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Guys , I have to sell my phone, so, I decided to do all the necessary to have it stock..
So, the question is, how can I do this? I need the phone like when I bought it
You can do most of this via SRK Tool. If you can't relock bootloader then you can flash your stock update.app via stock recovery and that will relock your bootloader and get rid of root.
Please don't follow this for when you have Nougat beta installed though.
I currently have TWRP recovery.. How can I put stock recovery?
Is better to put 1st the rom and for 2nd the recovery or contrary?
Anyway thanks for answering me!
1. Backup (as always)
2. Flash stock recovery with flashify for example

3. Flash stock Rom b182 with dload-method

Now your Bootloader is relocked and everything is stock again (I hope so)
Hello
Yesterday I've rooted my phone and then I wanted to install a custom rom (CarbonRom).
I've read that I have to unlock the bootloader for installing a custom rom. I did this with the flashtool.
After that my phone stuck in bootloop.
I have restored my phone with twrp recovery and it works now. But I still have a locked bootloader.
I have read that I have to install a stock rom to prevent a bootloop. I only rooted my device so my phone still should have the stock rom on it.
Does anyone know how to unlock the bootloader properly?
Thanks in advance
Hi all,
I have a Mi 9 europe version and want to get back to stock.
The current status of my device is:
- Bootloader unlocked
- TWRP
- flashed GSI FlokoRom
Can I just put the phone into fastboot mode and flash (10.2.24.0 PFAEUXM from there) with MI flash tool as mentioned there? Is it possible to relock the bootloader after this or will it brick my device?
I recommend you to flash rom WITHOUT LOCKING at first time. Even if something is wrong you should be able to flash twrp and then flash any rom.
But if after flashing your ohone boot up normally, flash it again and tick LOCK BOOTLOADER. Simple and secure way to get stock phone.
I'm on C.38, and I would like to restore to factory settings. I have an unlocked bootloader running Orangefox recovery and I need help with restoring back to stock recovery and bootloader so I can update to latest firmware and use banking apps without root.
I tried using in-depth test app to revert back to default but it does not work. I could use your help with this.
My phone model is Global/India variant.
