Hi, every one i was wondering if there is a rom that does not consume alot of battery. I would want the rom to have all the features but i also want it to stay alive for more than 5 hours
thanks in advance
I have tried all roms.there is only one stable ,fast, good battery consumption rom.
and that is x1 original rom.
battery = 30% better than best cooked rom(826x)
stable = 80% better than best cooked rom
fast = 50% faster than best cooked rom
dont wast your time with cooked roms,
i certainly agree..
Try the XPure III, or the special Christian Roms. These are full of features and battery life is approximately two days.
Jacks v5 also got good battery life. I really don't know what's the matter with that battery built in our X1? I already got battery problems with my original WinMo ROM.

Do you tried Christian roms?
+1 on the latest stock ROM. Best battery life out of all that I've used.
I vote for the stock rom too.
if you aim for max battery performance only, stock ROM is indeed the best choice - even though it's pretty boring compared to the cooked ROMs available here....
You might as well try the red link below in my signature, I've had very good results with nueDynamicClock even on WM 6.5.3
Hello !
I use my M7 for chatting, navigating, phone calls, some apps like "amazon", bus connections etc. No heavy gaming or other projects.
I have even underclocked it to 1100MHz for better battery lifetime.
For me it's important to have a fast, Stable Rom with a great Battery Lifetime. I don't care about its design etc. but it should be Sense.
Maybe the battery lifetime isn't related to the Rom (read a big discussion about that, but didn't finish..). In this case, what Kernel can you recommend ? Any mods or settings ? Any apps or possibilities to get the most stable Rom setup, with good battery life time ?
I don't need fancy designs etc. Just want the phone to be fast, and stable. And of course a good battery lifetime.
Any recommendations or tips ?

well my recommendation will be to try some differents roms and kernel yourself and see whats work the best for your needs.
no ''what is the best roms/kernels" threads are allowed here.
see below forum rules:
What does not go here (by far an uncomplete list, just some examples for topics that are not tolerated)
(...)
"Whis is the best rom for this device", "Is this rom better than that" (always subjective, prone to fanboy wars)

apart from the rom/kernel, I personally use Tasker to set custom power saver profile, you might want to give it a try (this is a paid app)
sorry guys , recommendation threads aren't allowed.

guys, what are your opinions about "Best @szezso Branded ROM for a Daily Driver".?
I mean absolutely fully working ROM (minimum to none bugs), with great Battery Life (at least 2 days on light to moderate usage), doesn't matter what version of Android, just wanna hear some "imho"s on Best DD.
or maybe someone could suggest me a better ROM for a DD.? (maybe ARHD or SVHD or Project X or something else )
just opinions based on User Experiences :highfive:
(no TOPs, #1's or nominations, just "imho"'s ) : Thank you
Any aosp will yield the greatest battery. I haven't used this phone seriously in almost a year but when I did I rocked 4.1.2 for the best battery.
Hi, I'm right now on SlimSaber 4.4.4 and to be hones the battery life isn't good enough.
I'm looking for light, fast and good battery life ROM (it can be even on 4.0.4 or 4.1.2)
Thank you for helping and look forward for reply
Regards,
Tom
I'm currently using AryaMod v7 rom. It has some pretty good battery performance in comparison to the kitkat roms on the galaxy note. It isn't a simple rom (size > 700 MB), but give it a shot!
Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM / Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself. That is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,
and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.

Hi i have a question i think to update my phone from NE2213_11_11.A15 to newer what's firmware is best ? I'm rooted i need better battery work and performance.
Saying which is "best" is apples and oranges mate.
There's good and bad in everything....
Few things to note, the latest firmware (C21 at the time of writing) it has the best features but for me at least A17 had the best thermal performance when using heavy apps/games..
But your mileage may vary.
Overall the latest firmware should be the best unless you really don't like the new look of 13
