hi!
I'm Noel, a 12 year old boy. (soon 13)
I like to customize ROMs that were already made (check my posts for example)
- Installed Windows 7 on my PC first: (age 9)
- Did install my first CyanogenMod on a phone (age 10)
- Did put an SSD to a pc (age 12)
- Did write a program code in Python (age 11)
I like to program such random things in Python, JavaScript

It's buggy some times and I don't want to release it in public
5 tools only are needed:
- Notepad++
- 7zip
- DSIXDA's Kitchen
- APKTool
- SMALI/BAKSMALI
Nothing else.
Start by doing so mods following tutorials, try to mod some apps by yourself, experiment things and try, do many many testings...
I've learned all what I know by starting like that
Hello
Do you know DeckerSu ?
He have developped AlcatelFlasher, a software that can read/write any partition on Idol3.
So, with this app, you can flash TWRP on Idol3.
Look at here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/development/tool-sahara-firehose-test-alcatel-t3454855
But now, he make a version for Idol4 (6055) and a TWRP recovery for this one !!!!
Look at here: http://www.decker.su/2016/09/alcatel-idol-4-6055k-twrp-recovery.html
But nobody are interesting on his work so he don't share it.
Please, look at his work and comment it if you want this amazing work.
DeckerSu will be very happy to your interest.
Thanks for him
Greeting to Decker su

Ready the same decision as a binary recovery_twrp_3.0.2-0-decker.img for Idol 4 and "Murzilki" (walk-through) his flash - I decided not to spread. If the topic you are interested in at the moment, you can:
Try self-assemble TWRP from me lined wood -based repository OmniROM (the repo the init -u https://github.com/omnirom/android.git -b android-6/0), good manual on TWRP recovery assembly for the Qualcomm platform from source on the Internet abound. Plus the opportunity to learn something - it's always good.
Follow the development of the project Sahara & Firehose the Test , and perhaps even to support him and help him grow to full flasher for devices based on Qualcomm, well, or as an alternative - to find their way to fill in the recovery unit.

This is what he said. I'll try to build a working vesrion of TWRP, if the guide is correct.

Thanks, but you must have sahara firehose flasher for 6055k.
And only DeckerSu can provide it.
So, donate for his work and you'll have the tool. :good:

Hi! At this moment Sahara & Firehose Test Tool app officially support only Idol 3 6039 and Idol 3 6045. I have Idol 4 6055 in my own, and already add it's support to app, but not released this version yet. I plan to add Idol 4 6055k later, if users will interested in this project and make some donations. Work on this was really hard and took more than a month of hard work. It continuing now, but new releases will be available in public after i collect some donate. It all depends on the users themselves. This is free, but project need their support.
If you interested in donate, you can use this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/dona....php?u=5660972 . Donation is completely voluntary initiative. If you wanna support project - make it, if don't - no additional actions required.

Thanks. I wonder if there's not a difference in SIM numbers too. I think mine has only one SIM slot.
I tried to install the drivers on Windows 7, but it fails to recognize my phone when I plug it to my PC.
Mine is 6055u (US maybe)
Has he provided the tools to root this phone as well?
Thank you for starting the freedom of our idol 4. I know this phone has massive potential. I absolutely love it and will love it more rooted.

When I went there I didn't see anything though. I did however use Russian translator so perhaps the translator was wrong????
Is there going to be a flash tool?
I have the 6055u and i need root to enable the hospot.
Guys, if you want to increase the chance to see root, custom recovery and custom roms for the 6055, maybe you can show your interest to @DeckerSU, or even better, donate to him. It's easy to to donate through PayPal from XDA.

No exact date, but looks like it will start rolling out in a week or so. Of course, each watch could be different. Here is a post from the AW Team (they also answer some questions in the comments section) and another article stating updates start on the 15th. https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidWear/comments/5su6z0/introducing_android_wear_20/

The way I understand Feb 15 is that Google only gives the sources to watch producers. And from that day they can start working on their own releases.
I got an update yesterday. Was hoping it was gonna be all shiny and new but nothing has changed as far as I can see. I seem to be on 1.5.0.3693151

Installing dev preview requires a USB connection to a Windows computer & ADB installed. Extract the compressed files of the dev preview into the folder where you put ADB, in a command window type "ADB reboot bootloader", then "flash-all"

Hi jusumgeezer and all other
i am created my account on AFH. Now i am wait(24 hours) for free to uploading. if free then i am upload and info you in this thread.
i found howto "curl --ftp-pasv -T zipname ftp://urid:[email protected]"
i am created sha256sum update.app "1anu324r7dj" (sample). it's a smale file with <100 B. there is my test-file.
i thing the upload-time(update.app) is hours. my www-line is dsl16000, the "fritz!box" say: speed is 98% !
sorry for delai
i am not amused
Hey. I have just bought Honor 9 lite just to get into the field of android ROM development. In fact, right now I am downloading Lineage OS 15.1. I am still a noob so don't expect any results from me. But can you share the twrp image with me so that I too can backup my partitions before I start building and flashing.
So, I just want to honor the 9 Youth Edition when it comes to los15.1. Or how long will we have to wait for Downloads

Thanks for taking the time to do this, don't worry about the delay, we've been waiting for a while for a full factory image so most of us don't mind waiting a bit longer.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the full image? From Huawei PC suite? Another website? Or elsewhere?
If it from another website you could just direct us there if it's easier.

This suggests that OP has 2 files:
1: a TWRP backup
2: a Update.app file
Which I assumed to be an official OTA, maybe downloaded through the HiSuite PC suite.
There is an option under the check for updates menu that states "download latest full package" so it could have come from there? Although that's never done anything for me.
OK so Looking at OP other posts on here, it appears he had a bad flash resulting in a bootloop. He managed to download a full system image in the form of a update.app which he copied to his SD card & is uploading.

@JamesBott and how is it going? Maybe you can use a public hotspot like in McDonald in order to upload the file if your home internet connection is not sufficient
hi vsrookie (and all others)
I am yesterday make account by AFH, now iam Request for Developer Access and input email : Your request has been submitted, and will be reviewed by a site admin as soon as is possible.
Info "why i have "LLD-L31 8.0.0.127(C432) FULL"-Update.App
- install twrp
- reboot with bootloop! only whats booting: it go's to twrp! I cry: "help"!!! A verry friendly user on "Android Hilfe" (german-community) help me.
- at this moment is nothing to find "Full-Update". No i am wait.
- 2 days later i am find FHMate10Tool. with this my phone rooting. phone reboot.
- phone boot to OS !!! this was for me crazy, are i am happy!
- phone configure (google...) and phone run's.
- 2 days later phone say "i have update. install?". i say "yes". update beginning and brake, it's gooing to twrp and not in custom recovery.
- now the best idea in my live: phone is rooted and ES-FileExplorer installed, i am copy from /data/update/HwOUC/118791 the update.zip to sd-card
- i am extract update.app 3.8 GB. out update.zip; and extract recovery_ramdis.img & header and system.img & header.
- flash this 2 img and phone run
- phone find update, i say "yes", update install 100% and my phone have Build LLD-L31 8.0.0.127(C432)
now i am flash "honor9lite twrp(beta)" and make twrp/backup/system
that's the story
why upload "LLD-L31 8.0.0.127(C432) FULL" ?
i need help - community help me . help . help . ....
i am upload and help community (a little bit)
my only problem: it's first upload in my life
i am split the update.app in files with size 500 MB
my upload is slow (dsl 16000, download = 15900), i thing 3.8 GB = 1..2 days, if break 1 of the file then lost time is not big
if request from AFH and can upload - 1 file (500 MB) is uploaded - i info here
i love the community, i love all helpers. that's real/true.
and the best: i write around the world! russia, india, usa, ..... ! and make no step outside my home. big fun
other question: i have Honor9Lite-Partitions-List made with cat /proc/partitions. anyone need?
Apologies JamesBott, I was not aware that AFH had such limitations. We are grateful for your efforts so far.
Someone suggested Mega as an alternative, maybe they are quicker & have less restrictions?
