Thanks.

Under optimization, you need to Enable Developer Mode, go all the way down, disable MIUI Optimization and that's it. If you happen to be on Global ROM - click permanent in AOD setting also. Enable all these. So far mine is there but it gets dim after a period of time.

If I turn off MIUI Optimization that cause several another problem. e.g. all app all permission are deleted about every week that is more annoying than AOD issue (I tried that) permanent is clicked also in AOD settings. So I need another 'harder' solution unfortunately but thanks for the answer

Go to the third option and put some one hour without AOD, between 2 and 3 in the night for example.
I set to switch off the AOD from 00:00 to 05:00 and in the rest of the time the AOD don't disappear.

I already tried that before. Don't work unfortunately...

Battery Saver mode in Android 9

I can't seem to find the Battery Saver mode in Android 9 (MIUI v10.1.2.0) anymore.
There's also no indication in the battery meter for activating such mode. (used to show as orange in the meter background)
Am i the only one missing this?

Whatsapp / Line notifications have always been unreliable in Chinese ROM, that is quite a common issue.
Another thing that you might check is under Settings -> Battery & Performance -> Scenes -> Non-interactive mode and make sure it is DISABLED.

Internet cuts for some apps randomly

Hi everyone
I have a weird problem, when I'm using my phone and let's say on Instagram sometimes when i refresh the feed it's just doesn't.. i doesn't say you don't have internet connection it just won't load the new posts and keeps the loading indicator rotating
Another app is Spotify when it's randomly playing songs that haven't being played before (not cached) it's stops suddenly of loading the next song and resumes after a couple of minutes
Same problem with tinder not loading the incoming messages
Only can be solved by disconnecting and reconnecting WIFI or using cellular data
My phone is fully stock with the least official update
I've checked:
Background restrictions.
When Spotify or Instagram stuck I swhich to another app say YouTube and it's perfectly working and loading, going back to Instagram and it's still stuck and not loading.
WiFi router is not far away from me so the Signal is strong.
Do you have any idea how can I solve this without resetting the phone ?
Thanks
Did it start with csd1 update?
Thanks for the reply
I actually don't remember but here's the version I'm on now
Current version: N960FXXS2CSBA/N960FOXM2CSA2/N960FXXU2CRLT
Having same issue. One UI. Has been an issue since latest update.

In Android Pie v9.0 in app settings you can turn off battery optimization and it should prevent the app from being put to sleep. Maybe this may help. Or if wifi data saver is turned on this can cause issues also. There is one other menu/screen that allows you to change settings of when/why/which apps and how they are controlled by Android to save power and allows apps to be put to sleep after a certain amount of app unused time, or when it predicts that you are not normally using a particular app at a particular time. I cant seem to recall where I saw it or how I got to it but if I track it down I'll be sure to post the info because I think it may be a likely cause or fix for your issue. Only other thing I could figure it could be the modem firmware that your on is buggy and hopefully it will be fixed in a future update.

Here is what I was looking for. You go to settings>device care>tap on battery>tap three dots top right>tap settings. In there is some stuff that may help with your issue.
Thanks for the reply, I've actually already done that I've disabled all the settings related with putting apps to sleep at device care/battery which doesn't solve the issue
Yet i still have to try un-optimizing the apps surly this would lead to battery drain but let's see what happens.
I'll keep you updated with the results
So I have disabled all of power efficiency related settings in device care/battery section
And also disabled doze optimization for the effected
İ can say it's a lot better now but the issue still occurs

Question Redmi Note 10 Pro Delayed Notifications

Hi all
I just purchased this device, this issue is really annoying!
If i leave the phone for few minutes, come back and turn it on, i get no notifications from whatsapp. but once i open the app, ALL the messages show up. Same thing with almost all the other apps not just whatsapp.
I tried and did everything, turned off battery optimization, turned off miui battery optimization, locked the app, enabled auto start, done all of that for all of my social apps, still the same.
Is this a known issue in the device ? or am i missing / doing something wrong here ?
Thank you.
Which version of miui you have? EU rom?

It happened to me also on Poco X3. I solved the issue by turning on auto start, allow notifications (there are plenty of settings) and allowing permissions: pop up window, permanent notification)
Cheers!

Google might be testing a refreshing layout change in notification tiles in A12

Hi,
I am owner of Pixel 4A 5G on A12, stable release. Last night out of nowhere I was welcomed by visual change in the notification area of the phone (see my lousy representation). This however only lasted for about 10 mins, and then it was back to normal. The tiles expanded to the 4 large tiles on second pull downwards.
I've done no updates before this, nor after it. Is it possible that big G is testing a refreshing change in the layout, a one with smaller notification tiles? Anyone. Ideas?

Seems to me more like a UI glitch or something.
Well it happened again. This time i caught it on screenshot. Thought it is because of the Bed Time enabled feature, but I cannot reproduce it today. Maybe, this is normal behavior, but i really like these notification tiles

Did you wipe coming from Android 11 to Android 12, or dirty flash?

Strange. These are the type of glitches I'd expect to see from doing dirty upgrade from A11 to A12, with how much has changed.
Taking a closer look though, maybe if it were an update issue then you'd be getting something closer to A11 toggles, which has 6 on first pull down, not 4. Instead this looks like the toggles from A12, but without text, so they are smaller. Weird.
Stock ROM?
Rooted?
I would possibly give a dirty flash a try. Can't hurt.
Just encountered this yesterday. Non-rooted, stock ROM (clean flash), CleanSlate kernel. Happened just after Auto-Rotate glitched out on my homescreen. The tiles reverted back to normal after rebooting. Pretty sure it's a glitch, but I was cool to see.

Turn off app auto updating in Google Play. Go there when you want to check for updated apps and do it manually. Google Play Services is also a concern. As far as wifi demand, ensure your Developer's Options are enabled as it has some defaulted wifi settings in there. While there, disable the setting to "always" keep mobile data turned on all the time. Turn off any setting in wifi to automatically scan for "public networks" and disable "turn wifi on automatically." Now, your use will define your settings since I always use my home wifi instead of in public.
