Happened to me a couple days ago. Easiest fix:
1. Download Ubuntu, run it on a virtual machine, run it as a usb drive or dvd drive.
2. Get the proper images for your LG G2 version and current ROM from Autoprime site (can't post link, sorry. You will need aboot, boot, recovery, and laf).
3. Install adb and fastboot from Ubuntu's software center.
4. open Ubuntu's terminal and run the following fastboot commands with root access:
Code:
fastboot erase aboot
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase laf
fastboot flash aboot /*filepath*/aboot.img
fastboot flash boot /*filepath*/boot.img
fastboot flash recovery /*filepath*/recovery.img
fastboot flash laf /*filepath*/laf
fastboot reboot
5. Then press your power button for about 15 seconds, when phone is completely off press VOL up then plug your usb cable and that should get you to Download Mode
Any questions or issues, PM me. :good:

I tried to do a software update with PIxel Experience 11+ but when I did install the update, it went into Fastboot mode instead of recovery, pressing buttons to leave fastboot didnt work, nor did
Code:
fastboot reboot
.
To fix this and successfully update, just type
Code:
fastboot boot (recovery).img
and phone will boot into recovery and start updating.
