I have noticed that when using any other ROm
than stock ROM I can not record 10 bit video in third party apps

It records just fine 10bit with the stock camera but every time I try with Filmic Pro or mc24fps it gives error.
It is a shame not being able to use the full potential of the camera on custom ROMs.
This happens in every version of Miui eu I have tried and aosp.
I even tried seeing if it was because of unlocked bootloader. But it works just fine with unlocked bootloader on Miui global.
So maybe there is something missing in all of the custom ROMs ?
All I know is the only way for my phone to record 10 bit video in third party apps is to have Miui global installed.
Ps. I have locked and unlocked my bootloader, installed ROMs and recovery's many times to try to find something in common.
But the only thing that works is stock Miui global

Hi!
I have been trying MM roms here and there's one problem faced by all MM roms based on cm13 (whether unofficial or official). Hangouts front camera image is horizontally stretched, so you look shorter and wider (fat).
This didn't use to happen in cm12.1 and didn't occur on ivans mm rom either.
Can anyone confir this issue and whether they're facing it too? I'm on xiaomi mi4. It might be working well in mi3.
Also, does anyone know a fix to this? It's terrible for those who video call.

I have second xiaomi Redmi 4x - it's new one but without warranty, and it hanging when I want to use YouTube, some aplications etc.
I change the ROM twice but the same problem.
BL it's unlocked, ROM is Global miui 9.

Use MIUI PRO roms since you have a Unlocked BL, It's a Community made ROM & bettery than stovk miui in terms of PERFORMANCE. Also What resolution is Lagging ? Did you tried other resolutions, are they too Lagging ?

I ventured to try installing Magisk again after a long time without a rooted phone. Unfortunately, despite a new Android version (10) and Magisk version (20.4), I'm still having the exact same problem: the camera app gets replaced with a gray CC icon and won't launch.

I saw fixing the build.prop permissions worked for some people, but didn't fix it for me.
Apparently this is just a problem with the camera APK and not the whole camera API, since the Gcam port seems to work. Even so, I'd prefer the Oneplus camera app. Any idea how to get it back? Any other information I can provide to diagnose the problem?

How can I install custom rom on my redmagic 3 or 3s? Can you give me the tutorial?
Yes I like to know how to put a custom ROM with android 11 with Gapps since the cn ROM of android 11 you can't change the default launcher at least I wasn't able to want to replace it with nova launcher. And don't understand why this phone doesn't get more attention it's a good phone. I have the red magic 3s. Wish I could get stock android 12 on it but have no clue one that either. So if there anyone out there that could help with one of these it would be much appreciated.
I've got this message since i updated my K30 Ultra from MIUI 12.0.xx to 12.5.5, in 12.5.3 it showed that No install app work with this USB accessory. Even when i touch OK, my phone was always freeze and lag, no way to connect Android Auto in my car. Everything worked fine with MIUI 12.0.xx but not with 12.5.
Has any sollution to solve this?

I had the same issue on weekly betas. Then moved to stable Miui and everything works fine
