So my friend gave me his phone because it got hard bricked he doesnt know how.
The bootloader is unlocked.
Mi flash doesnt show the device and when i try to flash from adb with the command:
fastboot reboot it shows this:
Device Fastboot
???????????
I try to flash twrp recovery with fastboot flash recovery twrp.img and the phone goes on press any button to shutdown. Does anyone know how to solve this please.

I have unlocked the bootloader of my HTC one and now inside fastboot it shows UNLOCKED. I have also tried to flash both TWRP and CWM recoveries using fastboot method and both finishes with success with no error messages.
but the problem is that I can not boot into recovery. I dont know what happens exactly but seems rebooting into recovery fails and phone reboots again into normal mode so I see the htc boot screen twice and then I am in normal mode.
Do you have any ideas ?

I finally managed to install TWRP. the trick was to disable fast boot in power settings , then turn off the phone completely and enter hboot and then fastboot.
I was entering fastboot directly through adb and it was not working ! it should be a bug inside bootloader. it should not matter how you enter fastboot , but in this case it does matter ! I hope it helps someone.
Please help in big trouble.. my phone is stuck at Fastboot screen.. Nothing is working no volume keys nothing... What did i Do:
Unlocked bootloader...
and then I was trying to flash a custom recovery but after typing fastboot boot recovery.img.. it showed something like booting and then it finished.. Then in the tutorial it was written :
Perform a nandroid backup.
After nandroid backup is done, reboot the device in fastboot mode again.
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
BUt i didn't performed a nandroid backup and straight after fastboot boot recovery.img was done I typed fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.... and now nothing is happening so I quit command prompt and unplugged usb but still I cant do anything and the phone is stuck at fastbood mode. When i am trying to connect usb it's saying usb not recognized... PLEASE HELP ME!
PC is not detecting my phone now.

Not sure what thread you are following.. but steps don't sound correct.
Depending on the hboot you are on the fastboot boot recovery.img.. doesn't work.
to flash recovery you should have used fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
what happens if you hold down volume button and power for 10-20secs will it reboot to bootloader? If so from bootloader hit the power button to get to fastboot USB then select reboot option.
If nothing is working other option let phone go flat, then recharge and try again.
Is your device s-off?

I know there are others threads about this thing but none of them helped me, I would like to install TWRP and root my phone.
I'm on a p9 Plus VIE-l09C432B386 and I want to install TWRP recovery from fastboot.
I've installed all drivers and 'adb devices' detects my phone. I unlock bootloader and FRP.
From cmd I run 'adb reboot bootloader' and 'fastboot flash recovery twrp.img'.
I try with twrp-3.2.2-0-vienna.img and twrp-3.2.1-0-vienna.img and both were successfully flashed.
I type 'fastboot reboot' and hold Volume Up and Power but I can't enter on TWRP Recovery, only eRecovery. I tried with phone connected via USB at pc and with the phone disconnected.
The phone boot up and work flawlessly so I really don't know how to do.
What's wrong? I have to install an older version of TWRP? I have to run other commands or hold different combo of keys to access to recovery?

Flash twrp-3.1.1-1-vie.img.I advise you to flash it to recovery2 (not recovery) then just reboot and press vol up more then 3 secs
-fastboot flash recovery2 twrp-3.1.1-1-vie.img
-fastboot reboot

I try with your method but when the phone reboot it stuck on "your device has been unlocked and can't be touched" screen and doesn't boot up..what could be the problem?

I don't know.Try the factory reset or flash boot.img
UPDATE:
Finally I was able to install TWRP Recovery and now the phone boot up normally!
For everyone that has my same problem I install the twrp-3.1.1-1-vie.img as mrleja suggested me and I follow this guide. Maybe I was doing something wrong during the process, I don't know.

Hi guys, i need some help, i wanted to convert my A2 in 6X, and i need to enter edl mode to do this. Because i couldn't enter edl via fastboot or adb (i had unlocked bootloader ad twrp recovery installed) i tried to relock bootloader (maybe this was the error), now i'm stuck at message that says that system is corrupt and devices wouldn't boot, i can only access fastboot, tried to boot twrp via fastboot but didn't work, fastboot getvar unlocked return no, now i'm trying to follow the guide to unbrick from ARB but phone should be in edl mine is in fastboot, please help me, any suggestion is accepted! use option 5 then select the second option
it will boot the device into edl mode.
if you have issues with it not letting you enter it with this then try to unlock the bootloader again.

already did it, didn't work, unlocking bootloader gave me error: oem unlock is not allowed.
i menage to enter edl mode using test point method, after that i flashed latest rom, and phone booted up, but i turned off to reassable it, and when i tried to reboot it it went to edl mode and i cannot exit edl mode, my pc see it like QUALCOMM9008 and if i try to flash with miflash it does the flash but i can't bot it after flashing success. i'm trying now to download an older fastboot rom

if you are not in fastboot how can you even tell it to reboot to fastboot? Your only way is to enter edl mode just google it
