Hi all,
I'm looking for a charger that has 2 USB C ports and a USB A port to charge my macbook pro, S21U, and Galaxy watch4 simultaneously. Any suggestions?

I did notice this but was skeptical on the 65W PD. Not sure if the S21U can handle 65W...45W is possible because that's where the stock Samsung charger lands when super fast charging.

S21U doesn't allow 45W charging either, no matter which charger you use. USB PD uses a two way handshake protocol, and the charger will only supply whatever the phone allows depending on temperature, charge level etc. You can use any wattage PD certified charger safely. If you're planning to charge your MacBook, 65W would be good for a decent charge rate. 25W or 45W wouldn't be ideal for a laptop. The 65W charger will be good for charging any PD certified device, at least according to my understanding of USB PD.

Oh, my bad..I think the max S21U supports is 25W. The funny thing is that when I charge using my battery bank the phone says Fast charging. When on stock charger, it's just charging! Don't understand why..but I guess the stock charger just plays it safe to protect the phone's battery. I guess this charger shared earlier wouldn't harm the phone's battery...

When you say stock charger, which one do you mean? Coz the phone doesn't come with one. Did you buy a charger from Samsung separately?
I have the 15W Samsung charger which came with my Galaxy Tab S7 (USB A to C cable) as well as the USB PD 25W charger from Samsung (this one uses a USB C to C cable). Both support Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charging protocol and the latter supports PD. With the first one, i get fast charging displayed while charging, while with the latter, it shows super fast charging. I've kept both options enabled in settings. Not sure why your charger isnt fast charging your phone. Can you share exactly which charger and cable you're using?

I checked with my charger too. With super fast charging turned off, even my phone displays only charging. With it turned on, display shows super fast charging. It seems the stock charget doesn't display fast charging. Either charging or super fast charging only. Intended behaviour? Bug? Dunno.

I have an old quick charge 2.0 car and wall charger. I know they won't work with dash but I'm just double checking to make sure they're safe and won't damage my OP3T. Seeing as how the phone accepts 4a (I think) I'm pretty sure 2.4 in will be fine. Thanks in advance!
same Q, I have a QC 2.0 and normal charger, not sure if putting 2.0 or normal charge apart from the dash charge?
It's be ok to use lower rated charger (lower amperes). Any charger that is rated 4.0A and below should be fine. The most important thing is your usb cable should support the amps it is transferring. Make sure they are rated 2.0A and above.

What if it's not? Because I'm using Aukey 2.0 but I don't use embedded cable from them, just a regular Chinese one, but I still see the speed maintains. Is it going to be damaged?

If I am not mistaken, most of the newer usb cables are rated at 2.1-2.4A for charging. But if you want to be safe I would suggest you take notice of what the cables are rated at. For me personally, I always follow the rules of not using lower rated cables on higher rated input.
Any high quality charger will work just fine with OnePlus, although Dash Charge will turn on ONLY will OnePlus/OPPO dash charger and official USB cable. So you are limited to lower (non dash charge) speed.
QC 1/2/3, Turbo charge, Super charge, Dash charge.. adapters are safe to use with any phone, fast charging will not engage if the phone doesnt support it.
I recommend checking this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wJwqv3rTNmORXz-XJsQaXK1dl8I91V4-eP_sfNVNzbA/edit#gid=0
Cool beans, sounds like I'm good to go. I'm using whatever cable the charger came with and a USB C adapter from Aukey. Works just fine! Not really too concerned about dash charge since it's sitting bedside or in the car for road trips. Thanks!
so just curious if i use a regular quick charge charger it will charge but at lower rate then dash charge

Yep. The only way to get dash charge is to have a dash charger and a OPO cable. They do the conversion in the charger and push 4a to the phone vs quick charge which depends on the phone to do the step up. You'll basically be charging at 2.4a or whatever your quick charge puts out.
I use my 6 ft Nexus 6P charger as my primary and in my car I have my iOrange cable with a Maxboost 2.0 & 2.4 car charger

I just bought a Xz1 compact. It works great except that it won't fast charge; I've tried using the charger that came with phone and another I had lying around. Is there anything I can do for a fix? I checked the battery settings to make sure none of the options were enabled. I tried disabling Battery Care, but it didn't help.

It's definitely the same shape. No model # tho.
The stock charger included in the XZ1 Compact retail box is only 1.5A, it isn't a fast charger and will not fast charge the phone. You will need to get a Qualcomm Quickcharge 3.0 compatible charger for fast charging.

That charger should fast charge the XZ1C then. I did some searching and found out that unlike other manufacturers, Sony phones will not indicate anywhere when the phone is being fast charged:
https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-XZ1-Compact/Quick-Charge-Not-Working/m-p/1281209/highlight/true#M1178
There is an app called Ampere on the Play Store that will show how fast the phone is being charged, but it isn't 100% accurate. The best way to find out would be to simply measure the charging times from empty to full.
I have tested alot of chargers..even a 80 USD USB PD 61w. This damn phone wont charge faster than 1.6 amps @ 5v
Is it some kind of software limitation? I had the P20 and it charges fast as hell with QC3.0. 0-80% in 40mins.
I tested this Xz1 and it took nearly 70mins 0-80% with battery optimization off.
Sony claims and i belive them that battery life will last longer,, but who gives a ****. I want qc3.0 charging speed.
Charging at 5v and around 1.5amps. Ive read somewhere that the battery gets to warm charging like [email protected]
So its not adaptable, i placed my phone with its charger connected thru the window (-2 C) and it had like 2%.
This damn phone is restricted to 1.5-1.6 ampere (5v)..it wont go faster. So why is it QC3.0 cert?
This annoys me alot..isnt there a 30w charger? I guess it wont help.
Im gonna buy one of those plugs that show you amps, wattage and so on..doesnt believe the software you can download.
I believe that XZ1 Compact IS QC3.0 but battery get to warm, so they reduce charging speed...
I personally prefer no fast charge. The physically life of the battery last longer. My Nexus 6P had fast charge, it's not holding up for 2 hours now.
I have read somewhere that you have to disable all the battery saver stuff in order for QuickCharge to fully have effect.
However, even with all that enabled, my phone charges really quick from empty to full in like 2 hours.
Looks good to me.

2 hours is BAD. 2700mAh battery fully charged in 2 hours? The Huawei P20 charges its 4000mAh battery in like 45min.
The UCH20 wont pass 1.5 amps (5v).
If you turn your device off and charging and also turn off the battery opti. i believe 0-100% in like an hour..
And for those who believe its the charger are wrong. I have tried QC 3.0, QC4,0, 61W USB-c. This device is what do you say in English.."strangled" ...software limitation..
What about the XZ2 and the XZ3? Any notification ? They use the same charger i believe

Got a recommendation for a quality cable? I have a few different ones. The only name I can remember is Brexit, but I could be spelling it wrong.
I use Aukey QC 3.0 . Work great for fast charger since I use Z3C , then Z5C , now XZ1C. I use usb doctor to check volt and ampere, 9V output and 1A++, sometime got 2A when below 15% of battery.
My device is root, and use charge limit for the life time battery.
Hey people,
Anyone got this charger(picture below) and managed to get fast wireless charging working? I've tried it with the original Samsung power adapter+cable and it didn't work, it's just charging at 5W. There's a video on youtube where you can see a previous note model using fast charging, so I don't think it's false advertising. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caRtqv27tPY&feature=youtu.be&t=242 , the red cable doesn't fast charge, the black one, supposedly the one that came with the qi box, does fast charge).
Also someone mentioned in another thread that the previous Samsung adapters worked but the note 9 doesn't for some reason. It's very confusing, so maybe someone has cracked this.

I fast wireless charge mine using a Ravpower Wireless charger, it does indeed charge at the 10W it's rated for, I've confirmed with an inline USB power meter.
To be able to use fast wireless charging, I have it connected to a QC 3.0 port on a multi port QC charger and it works fine. Not near it currently, so can't test with the Samsung charger. Do you have any other QC chargers you could try?

No, sadly the only one I have is a OnePlus dash charger and this one only uses 5V (you need 9V for fast charge from what I know), so it's just charging at 5W.
But yeah I'd really appreciate you trying it out, since what I need right now is just any adapter that might work.

Just tested and I can confirm, the Samsung charger did not work, I just got the Wireless charging message. Connecting the wireless charger back to it's normal port and I get "Advanced wireless charging".
Although my Wireless charger claims to support QC 2.0, I can't think of any reason why the Samsung QC 2.0 charger wouldn't work.

Car chargers are not known for providing great charging speeds, so the phone will most likely charge slower (as in REALLY SLOW). Unles you find a car charger with some power.
just do a search on Amazon 45w pps car charger or 25w pps car charger, you found plenty.
make sure it said that it supports PPS
I got this car charger, it did trigger "super fast charging" on my S20, I haven't tried it yet on the S21. But it claims to be PPS, so no reason to believe it won't work on the S21 as well.

Go with the stock Samsung 25w brick and cable.
Just got a set for $20.
The 45 watt will increase the likelihood of Li plating and not charge much faster.
Avoid cold charging!!!
Best start temp for charging is 85°F at start.
Fast charging will not engage and/or disengages somewhere below 60F or above 99F.
Best charging temp is 85-95F.

As far as I know, only the Samsung Fast Wireless Charger 2.0 will give you full 15W wireless charging.
Anything else (even if rated for 15W or above) will supply standard Qi wireless wattage of upto 10W (mostly 7.5 to 9 W)
Got an OMARS white brand 15W wireless charger and it only charges at the 10W level.

U can use the samsung official 25w charger or a non branded one 25w and above and u can get good 15w or supported wireless charging with the supported wireless charger
