Hi, since installing android 12 i have noticed that when i tap on any text field, i no longer get the clipboard option which would bring up anything on there as well as my pinned options i use regularly.
Now when i tap in a text field i just get the option to 'paste' only which is just the last thing you copied.
This seems really unproductive
Is there any way to get the option back?
Regards
James
In GBoard I still get the clipboard icon but you did not state which keyboard software you use so it may be different to me.
I use textra which does have a clipboard but the system one used to contain a lot more than what was on textras clipboard so was hoping to still have access to the system one.
Sorry I do use gboard too and textra as the text app
Oh man! I just lost my usual clipboard after this newest software update. Geesh!
Hi, this is what i meant, when you tap in the 'enter message' part, I used to get both paste and clipboard now i seem to only get paste and was wanting clipboard back as an option.

Also notice my phone has a bounce and does not scroll as smooth as it used too.

yes, by modding the dll bronzeres.dll that has them in it. You will need a tool like PE Explorer to do that and a way to resign and copy back the DLL. If you dont know anything about modding titanium you probably need to do a little research first.
Thanks and i'll do it..
there is any chance to modify the today screen? for ex. instead of voicemail to appear File Explorer? to add or to remove some shortcuts.

running cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC5.7
just had to flash to this as "killed" my phone installing and removing apps.
prior to this I used to be able to hit the contacts button, my contacts would appear with a dial icon and a message icon. the message icon has disappeared ( I can still select to message when I select a contact)
I've been looking through what seems all the menu's on the phone but can't find how to put the message icon back in the main contact list.
feel really dumb because I can't work it out.
thanks for any help.

I'm also having this problem with the text message icon not being next to each contact. It's really bothersome.
Notification: "Allow the WAP Push application to receive messages..." What to do??
I don't understand what this is all about. I just got this phone last week, and ever since it was up and running, including first boot (if I recall correctly), I've had this cell-tower-like icon in my upper left corner. Always. Swiping down from the top reveals the following notice, and I'm given the chance to allow or deny.

Googling the content of this notice doesn't yield anything very informative, so I have a few questions:
1.) Is this coming from some app that can be disabled or uninstalled if I choose? Or is it part of the Android Oreo OS itself?
2.) What does it do if I allow it? Might it be useful or just some kind of spam?
If it's relevant, this phone was the international version, with the firmware probably Chinese (but of course I switched the language to English). Thanks for any info/help!

WAP push allows photos, URL links, wallpaper, ringtones, etc etc, to be directly embeded into SMS messages, so long as the sending server has it enabled.
It's an effort to bring SMS up to the speed of instant messaging, although it's probably a bit too late to catch up. Enabling it doesn't mean it'll work either, it has to be enabled with your service provider also.
I have mine disabled, effected nothing.
Theres quite a good explanation on StackOverflow
Here's how to activate the “Gallery Labs” hidden settings on Samsung smartphones
How to activate Samsung Gallery Labs
It doesn't take long to activate Samsung's Gallery Labs via the Samsung Gallery application, but we would like to point out right away that some options may vary depending on the version of Samsung's One UI installed on your device. In fact, if you have a smartphone with One UI 2.5 at your fingertips, as in our case, you will find the same options you see in the gallery below; otherwise, if you are among the many who use the One UI 3.0 or the very recent One UI...
Having made this necessary premise, we are finally ready to find out how to activate Samsung Gallery Labs. First you need to start the Samsung Gallery application, tap the magnifying glass on the three dots at the top right of the side and select the "Settings" item. Once you have entered the app settings menu, you need to scroll down, tap on "About Gallery" and tap repeatedly on the version of the app until the message "[Labs] appears on the screen. Gallery is enabled ".
Once this is done, you need to go back to the previous screen and locate the new “Gallery Labs” panel. Inside there are a series of "advanced settings" that normally cannot be exploited without activating this feature.

For quite some time! Or at least since OneUI 2.5 could be installed on the Note 8. And this thing I discovered by chance on the internet.
Hi, as above. After updating this really annoying eyedropper icon that if pressed, changes the colour of everything on screen. Mostly It's just in the bleeping way.
What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Thanks,
Zo0

Go to settings then the accessibility section then the text and display section the colour correction shortcut is what you need to turn off
that's the first thing/place I looked but upon further review and getting used to the new interface, the radio button is on a drop-down menu under CC and it says " colour correction shortcut lol "
I guess I was in such a hurry I missed it.
Thank you,
Zo0
