Hello,
is there a way to make the setting stick? I like it and would like to keep the setting after a reboot. Settings -> Cyanogen -> User Interface
Is it a bug? Found some threads concerning that issue on Google, but no solution. (don't want to install droid calibrator when the setting is already implemented in CM)
thanks
I can't seem to find anywhere to even change the lock screen wallpaper. Checked settings > display, and settings > security. Is this something I'd have to hard code? Running leaked 2233.
And you won't find it on any of the ICS leaks. Only the custom roms have that option.
Hi,
I have unlocked a developer options by clicking 7 times firmware compilation number. Than a go to developer option to check what can I change in my phone. When I was scrolling down I've notice that some of options were ON. Than I decide to change nothing. When I press slider at the top to set OFF and hide developer options some of option before set as ON goes OFF. My question is: if by clicking OFF at the top of developer options all setting back to default? If yes. why some of that was set ON when I unlocked developer options at first?
Well some options are on by default, like the automatic update... the default would be on, regardless for developers options turned on or off. Once in developer mode, some developers would like to freeze these updates while working/developing for the phone, hence you have the option now to turn it off in developer mode. Same for the wifi data option thing.
How to bring them back to default? Or maybe some of you can post screenshots with default developer options like it was fabric. Thank you.

Just turn developer options off.
If you turn off developer options, the menu vanishes as well.
This will also reset the settings.
You can bring it back the usual way, which will turn it on again.
Is there a way to make the Notification Icons on AOD & Lockscreen larger?
I've searched the settings and the Google for an answer. I assume it's 'no', but I am hoping there is a way, because it's hard to see what they are, especially without glasses.

Have you looked in the accessibility section of settings to see if there's anything specific to AOD/Lockscreen options?
With all of the 9.0 Betas/leaks & regional/carrier stable versions of 8.1,there's a possibility some phones may have something & others don't.......
I'm not seeing anything specific to AOD/Lockscreen on SM-N960U1 official 9.0 beta, but,if you're on any of the 9.0 betas, perhaps Assistant Menu may be of help (Settings > Accessibility >Interaction & Dexterity >Assistant Menu > Assistant Menu Options)
The floating menu button with this may be of help when Magnifier Window is selected as one of the menu options.
It's definitely not the most polished solution I could find,if it even works on the AOD/Lockscreen,but,it's the closest thing I could find to what you're looking for.
The only other option I could think of is looking for lockscreen &/or icon resizing apps in the Google Play Store that may address this.

I looked thru so if these with no joy, but really appreciate the suggestions!
I enjoy Android Q's dark notifications, however white-themed look better to me. I just found a solution to do this. Here it is:
To get WHITE notifications with DARK mode enabled on Android 10 Beta follow these steps:
- go to Settings > About phone
- tap "Build number" 7 times to unlock Developer options
- once you do this, go back to Settings
- go to System > Developer Options
- find "Override force-dark" toggle
- turn the toggle ON and then just turn it OFF
That's it, you should now have white notifications back. If you want to get dark-themed notifications again, follow the steps below:
- go to Settings > Customisation > Tone
- select Dark and confirm your choice in the top-right corner
I hope some of you are going to find it useful
Thanks for this, although it was for exactly the opposite reason

Awesome! Works like charm on OB5. Thanks!

Unfortunately that brings back again the white background in PlayStore.

You have to set dark mode in Customisation, then go to developer options and check and then uncheck Force dark mode switch.
in version 10.0.2 does not work
