do you guys think this phone will get custom rom and twrp support?
I wouldn't expect it too soon. But hopefully within a year or so I think it would be possible to see twrp support and maybe even custom roms.
Most custom ROM and TWRP builds need a kernel source.
We need Xiaomi to release the kernel source for Mi 11T Pro first.
You can constantly check the release of kernel sources on their Github. Once you see [11T Pro] in the list. You have a better chance to get TWRP and Custom ROM

I have tried more than 3 different ROMs and they all have big problems
like a weak voice
Problems with brightness control
The fingerprint or power button does not work sometimes, you must press the button more than once

I have Xiaomi 11T pro , and because it only sell on global market, not in China, there is no TWRP and custom ROM, there is only GSI ROMs,. I flashed Xiaomi EU custom ROM, that come out two months maybe ago.. .only stable version ,no weekly because weekly is for phones that are on chine market too. Also this week we got TWRP ,but still no custom ROMs

There are a number of developers now working on custom ROMs, but it needs time to be released
We need to wait till xiaomi releases the kernel source for android 12, right now all the roms are based on android 11 source

Well even if she is, I think it is a valid point. In my opinion it is no real trouble to flash a little root.zip with your rom and gapps. But for people who need a root free Rom it is important that it is not pre-rooted for online banking functions etc.
It is also valid to ask why it is prerooted, if he says it is LOS based, which is not pre-rooted.

I was not sure if LOS was pre-rooted or not sorry for that blunder but in their sources aokp they added pre-root so it has pre-rooted. You can turn off root access mode from developer options if you want

Best AOSP ROM.. The FOD work flawlessly. The other ROM almost made my eyes blind everytime i unlock my device using fingerprint when lights out.
I installed magisk and successfully installed Netflix with widevine L1.
The only thing i miss is the face unlock. Is there any way to activate face unlock?

Hi there, I installed xiaomi.eu ROM stable v 12.2.7 then install this ROM and magisk. So far, everything works well.

Just two things for improvements: Switch for display 60/90hz
And what about the "Mi Game Service" - Is it not removeable?
Installed perfectly after being in EU 12.5 beta.
Just formatted data and installed ArrowOS directly, also installed Magisk.
Only thing I'm worried about is the lack of MIUI Camera haha, will report later how's the rom, thus far it's great, FOD is working as well.

Battery not draining for me, I have 10 hours screen on time on my Mi 10 using this rom, and the battery life has actually been better than it was on Xiaomi.EU

I am curious if anyone is currently interested in releasing a pixel experience Rom for Xiaomi 11T Pro as it is too similar to the Redmi K40 Pro/+ and that also has its own official pixel experience rom. So I guess it won't be hard.

Yeah it's kinda pointless making twrp based on Android 11 source when a12 is alr around the corner tbh, let's hope when Android 12 drop, we can get proper twrp support.
Using the GSI rom in the moment, wish it have more support through this way we get proper roms without some bugs.
We could use other recovery like the AOSPA recovery to install the ZIP file instead of using TWRP.

Gonna unlock bootloader this sunday and I'm very confused about which rom to flash, i want a no nonsense rom, looked at pixel experience and crdroid but i see bugs and some finickyness. I last looked at ricedroid which seemed promising but still not sure. Please tell me what rom should i go for if i want a pixel 4a like smooth and simple experience.

Just one question, is it better or so-so in terms of smoothness and stability than the stock miui rom .
I haven't used the stock miui rom much. Just started the unlock process, laid the phone aside and waited the 7 days.
Therefore I'm afraid I can't say anything about stability of miui and not much about smoothness.
I just can say that lineage feels smooth for me so far and so far I have also no stability issue with it.
