Hi,
I'm using an USB c to audio jack female converter in order to connect my normal earphones to the s21 ultra USB c port.
Every now and then the sound stops and it resolves after unplugging the USB c out and plugging it back in. It doesn't help to unplug the earphones from the converter side and back in.
It only resolves it when unplugging the converter from the USB c port of the s21 and back in.
Is that a problem of the s21?
Disable all power management and clear system cache.
What app? Mine was doing that for Whatsapp calls (sound dies when the screen goes dark) and I disabled battery optimization for app...had been fine since.
BTW...just disabling power save mode doesn't help.
Developer options>standby apps, if all buckets states show as active, power management is disabled otherwise it is running. You can't disable it here though.
With power management disable:

In this picture,we can see it is using an USB card reader. So I am sure Diamond supports USB host.At leaset ,the hardware supports.
But we can also see an AC adapter, so maybe Diamond can not power the connected USB devices.
If an external AC adapter is connected , maybe it really supports some USB devices. But if an external AC adapter is needed, it is not very useful.
yes there have been several posts about the same thing in the forums
and nobody ever been able to get host outside of the bootloader
and even the ppc devices which do support usbHost require external power
usb is 5volt 0.5amps and
watt == volt * amps
so that mean it would have to be able to supply 2.5Watt out of the usb port
and thats more then most handheld devices can manage
I have a rooted Note 4 with TWRP. My screen and digitizer are destroyed so all i have is the mainboard. I've connected with USB and can enter my password, I can take screenshots and see them but I can't enable USB debugging and ADB isn't able to help. Without using ANY onboard phone inputs outside of the Power, Home, Menu, Back and volume buttons. How can I enable usb debugging so that I can get in and remote control my phone with something like teamviewer or adb?
Thanks guys
Got it stumbled blindly into team viewer using a usb keyboard with the OTG adapter and got it.

I haven't touched the phone for around 6 months. Now that I was trying to charge it the phone goes into a loop of turning on, displaying the charging splash screen, vibrating and turning off:

(can't post a direct link)
When unplugging the usb cable I get this image for a brief moment before it goes off for good:

It's unlocked, but on an original rom.
Is that a known problem and is there a way to resurrect it?
I fixed it by:
Connecting the charger
Holding down the power button and volume down at the same time, for 30 second or so to get into the fastboot menu
Inside that menu I selected Recovery mode
While in Recovery mode I was able to charge and rebooted normally at 7% charge or so
I got the hint from reading the comments under some youtube video (search term: moto x2 charge).
Some weird issue with my phone - I cannot connect it to Windows 10 (tried on two computers) using USB type-c cables laying around.
When connecting to USB on PC - the phone is charging, but there is no USB notification in the notification bar, where you can choose an option. When I try to search for USB options - they all grayed out.
Cables working, same for USB - checked wy my wife Motorola G7.
Tried to set a default mode in development options - still no luck.
Tried to connect a mouse - works.
No root, no custom firmware.
What to do? How to fix it?
This is a development option:

}
And that's what I see when connecting to a PC
Do you guys use any particular USB-c to 3.5 adapter with this phone ?
I bought this baseus one and had to return it.

There was a really annoying background noise when connected to my IEMs (kz zsn pro), and also had volume issues with my ath m40x. I will try the Samsung dongle tomorrow.
Samsung dongle works much better. Audio quality is very good, but it also has issues with the volume (works Ok connected to a Windows PC). I will keep it for my sensitive IEMs and buy an external dac/amp for the over ears.
