How to fix gallery crash when sharing a picture from Samsung Gallery ?? i can share a video on whatsapp but cant share picture
I already cleared the cache and Data Forced stopped.
but no luck still i cant share
Well, There are many possible reasons for your Gallery app problem. Some of the common ones inncludes:
Minor Gallery app bug
Corrupted system cache
Unknown software bug
Bad third party app
Incompatibility issue
Coding error
Therefore, you can restart the device is by pressing and holding the Volume Down button and the Bixby/Power key at the same time for 10 seconds or until the device’s screen turns on. This simulates the effect of having disconnected the battery from the device. If this works, this may unlock the device.
Or may be restart procedure tries to simulate the effects of removing the battery pack. On older devices, disconnecting the battery is often an effective way in fixing unresponsive devices. If nothing changed though, proceed to the next suggestions.
Hope that it's useful with you. Have a good day!
No problems at all with sharing pictures from Galery (S21U G998B, A12/4.0 BUKG).

If the phone is rooted with twrp for example and encryption has been desabled during the rooting process it may be the cause of this issue under A11 or A12
Could be.In my case after a12 I did a heavy debloat like I usually do and the same thing mentioned above happened.

I already deleted data from the gallary/photos and video apps still no good. =(
did you recently changed to this phone? or recently added a bunch of photos to the phone?
first attempt takes awhile for the phone to load, and you are supposed to load all photos (in thumbnail view) then after that it should load pretty quick when you click on it.
if it still remains i suggest you try repairing it with SUS.

Hi guys. Hope you are all ok.
I have an honor 5c and sometimes I'm having this weird issue. Sometimes I try to call someone and when I open the dialler app it crashes straight away. It also happens with apps like settings. If I reboot my phone it keeps happening and sometimes it just comes back to normal.
I made this video when it happend last time, check it please to have a better idea of the issue.
Hope someone can give me a hand here.
Thanks in advance, guys!
You tried with some patch files earlier to enable something in your mobile ?
Do you face this issue after installing a specific app?
Try clearing app data.
Sent from my honor 5X using XDA Labs

Hi. The only thing that has patched my files is the root and xposed framework. It used to happen when I had the previous version of android for Honor 5c, i thought the update would sort the problem out.

I've tried that too but when it happens it doesn't allow me to open the settings app either.
Any ideas? As I said, it's like a set of applications stop working when it happens and it's just randomly!
In average I would say it happens once every two weeks and I realize it when I take my phone an try to call someone, then other people say that they couldn't call me during that period....

I had the same issue, with Settings at least, when I was rooted and trying out the Pixel Launcher with the app in to the /system folder to allow the Google Now feature to work. Settings would be fine sometimes after a reboot, not others. Going back to the "normal" Google Now launcher has never made it happen.

hi. Thanks for your answer. The bad thing is that it keeps happening, and I just upgraded the version of my firmware to the latest one (v130) and it happened again the other day. The only thing I haven't tried is to use the phone without rooting it. I haven't changed the launcher, so in my case that's not the problem unfortunately.
If anyone can think about any other cause :/
Hi !
It happened to me with dialer and settings apps.
Try to wipe cache and dalvik cache in TWRP.
Hey Poine45!
I did that, but it happened again :/. But I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Keep having this problem...it just keep auto disabling random apps from time to time.....it's killing me. I enable it...than it got disable some time down the road.
From the attachment...u can see Snapseed and Google pay is being disabled
And Google clock alarm doesn't work despite repeated test....
Can someone advice
are you sure you have not turned on the Eco Mode ? it disables apps to save battery
Use app without installing, it is a feature from Google, not a bug. You choose on playstore to have that

I don't think this is the issue. Be happy to be proven wrong. I have the same issue. Trying to use Google Pay at the checkout when it's been disabled/reset is embarrassing
I am using realme x2. If i'm using any application even system application like settings, etc,.. It automatically comes to the home page. Please resolve this problem.
Hi to all,
someone has tried the "Cloner App" of Oppo and trying to clone Whatsapp ??
I have a problem: cloning occurs perfectly and I can use the copy of WHTASPP perfectly. But when I try to go to "connected devices" (in WA) to enable my PC to access my account, biometric authentication with fingerprint is requested. I put my finger on sensor and it does NOT recognize my fingerprints.
It is not a problem of fingerprints because they work perfectly with all the other apps and access to the phone.
I tried to record new fingerprints, but nothing. It doesn't recognize them in Whatsapp cloned.
Someone had the same problem I have?

Thank you!!
I've tried WhatsApp web. But I think the problem it's not the version of WhatsApp.
Tell me about your test
My ColorOS build version is CPH2173_11_A.22

Yup same story here. Its like fingerprint reader ignores my fingertip
Previous way of using whatsapp web or desktop was to scan qr code...now I see "linked devices" option instead with fingerprint access.
There is a workaround for it:
- remove all your fingerprints
- whatsapp will.ask u to put code (lock screen)
- link web/desktop app
- add fingerprints agaib
Yes....it's a possible solution, but the applications that use the fingerprints what happens to do (bank, etc ...) ??
Usually when you change fingerprints there is a process of annoying re-authorization.
Thank you very much for your test and your availability!!
I will try this solution in a few days and I will update the thread

Yes thats true but in my case (2 banking apps) it took avg 3 seconds to.enable it again. Please keep in mind that linking device in whatsapp is done only once. So aftet that you have to.reenable biometrics in your banking apps only once...and all should work afterwards.

I just did as you suggested and I can confirm that it's a workaround that works!
But I hope that OPPO adjusts this annoying bug in the next releases...
Is there a way to signal the presence of bugs and malfunctions directly to OPPO?
I come from OnePlus and in ColorOS 11 I found many bugs like this!
Maybe too many bugs ...

Not sure. I moved from.OP6T and it was easy to raise a bug on the community site. Here I have no idea but i found few annoying ones as well.
so it's a problem in this app uses parallel space
that has a beautiful interface, is fluid and known
Got Samsung Galaxy A33 last month, and suddenly WhatsApp calls won't come through when the screen is locked
Have tried uninstall and reinstall
Completely unrestricted access to whatsapp in battery and data
However, nothing seems to work

Downloaded it through playstore,
Checked all permissions, all notifications are on both in system settings and in app settings, unrestricted access selected but still the call won't come through no matter what.
Even hard resetting the phone didn't help at all

like you, i have problems with calls on my galaxy a33 5g
when the screen is locked I don't receive normal calls, video calls or whatsapp notifications

Nope, never found a fix for this.
Had to hard reset the phone after wiping everything off still faced the issue, updated the phone to latest android 13, the issue is somewhat gone as the messages are delayed but goes through most of the times but experience the same a few times

I don't know, but I tried literally everything; enabling unrestricted background access, disable battery optimization settings, turning off do-not-disturb, resetting notification settings .. but nevertheless. I have a Xiaomi Mi A1.
