Hi,
I have a MI 11 on MIUI 12.5.5.0 Global (RKBEUXM) and sometimes I experience a problem while downloading media in Whatsapp: I get an error like this "Download failed. Download not completed. Try again later".
When the Whatsapp problem happens, I got also an error in Tasker when trying to play a notification sound file. Here I get the error "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Volume external_primary not found".
And when these errors happen I get an error also if I try to update system apps in the Settings Menù. The error here is a notification with the message "Package Installer. It's impossible to execute the download"
After a while, all these errors disappear and everything works again ... even if I do not understand what changes in the meanwhile.
Even if I'm not sure that there is a correlation I realized that when these errors happens, the Media Storage app runs all the night draining battery because in the battery settings I see that the screen is off but the phone active.
Any idea?
My idea is that there something blocking the access to media.
Any possibile solution? or suggestion?

Every time I open the Youtube application I get an error:
Attention: There was a problem with the network response.
There is no problem, and I can happily browse through and play videos. But this error message comes up each and every time and it is extremely annoying. Anyone know how I can get rid of this?

I'm having a problem that has been described elsewhere but none of the problems sound "exactly" the same as mine, and none of the fixes I have tried have worked
Phone:
Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000M Bell Canada
standard (not rooted)
Recent Changes:
The only recent (ie in the last week) change I have made to my phone was to install a camera firmware upgrade via Samsung apps. Did that on Jan 26. Since that time I've noticed the issue.
The issue:
Upon opening the Android Market app, after a short while waiting on the "loading..." screen, I receive this message:
"A server error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen."
If I hit retry, or if I am fast enough on the initial start of the market app, I can actually hit the search button, enter a search term, and it tries to search (but never returns a result)
If I hit cancel it closes the market app.
Then usually, but not always, a few seconds later I receive a force close error message
"The Application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I haven't been able to figure out why this only comes up some of the time.
What I have tried so far:
Clearing data/clearing caches of various apps
uninstall android market updates
uninstall recently installed apps (removed the aforementioned firmware upgrade)
Change Google account password - after changing via a PC, the Market App then prompted me to enter the new password - but then the same result "A server error has occurred..." etc
Tried using WiFi
Tried using 3g
Tried adding an account (settings>manage accounts & sync ... the blue G for google icon and entered my gmail info) This triggers the same force close "The Application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
After each change tried a reboot (inc remove battery & wait a 5 minutes)
Trying to avoid doing a factory reset - from other posts it sounds like it hasn't worked for others, and I've had 4 issues in the last 4 months that required a reset ... getting mighty sick of reloading everything!

PS. Not sure if this is related - Social Hub force closes every time I reboot the phone - process com.seven.Z7 - only way I've found to fix is to go into samsung apps and reinstall every time I reboot. That sucks, but not as bad as having no market app!

I have just received the phone last night and read through this forum to change some settings for optimization..and I am getting an ungodly amount of errors with anything google...
all of the errors say "Unfortunately, Google *insert name of google app*.....has anyone had these popups happen? It happens the worst when i try to open up the "google" app, just a ton of popup errors and can't even use the app..if I hit cancel another one comes up.

UPDATE: problem solved.....just did a factory reset and re-installed Gapps and gave them ALL permissions..all is well, for the time

I had this problem and solved it as you did.
In addition TWRP, Rooting with Su and installing Xposed gives you very granular control of the Mi Mix

On my (SG) Note9, after a few days I started occasionally getting grep 'toast' like popups (but in the center of the screen, not at the bottom)
in Chinese (my phone is all set to ENglish)
I managed to screenshot it and run it through Google Trsnslate and found it reads:
Error Code: 10201 Error Message: Network unavailable
WHat could the source for this be?
I did newly install Telegram, other than that there is no really new software that I did not also have on my old Note4?
ANyone have an idea what causes this?
Had this exact problem on my Note 8 and now Note 9 after installing Taobao app.
problem still persist even thought i uninstalled the app.
Just managed to resolve this issue with guidance from another forum.
download this app call toast source and it will capture the popup message and let you know which app is causing this issue.
To my Mi9T pro 6/128 with global rom 10.3.2 i have issue with viber duplicate apk.
From the settings / duplicatek apk, open the application, the icon shows up to the 1st screen but when i click to open it shows me a message the license was rejected, on the contrary when I click on the primary application ,then it shows me the 2 options.
i have allowed all the permissions the application is requesting, i have uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing is changing, the message is constantly displayed.
What could be the fault, can anyone help me?
