Letting everyone know, I just received my unlock token for my MetroPCS-branded Nord n100. Works like... well, like it should have all along.
Last I'd heard, T-Mobile was granting them for their own Nords, but not Metro's. Made no sense because TMO owns Metro. MetroPCS by T-Mobile. Right there in the name. Dumb.
Anyway, that's now changed. I waited the 180 days to SIM unlock, never had a MetroPCS account, grabbed an unlock code via fastboot, and then I signed up for a token here through T-Mobile: https://www.oneplus.com/unlock_token?type=2

Im working with a 11.0.3.BE82CF BE2015 on metro. My phone was kinda weird tho cuz i was allowed to toggle the oem switch it wasnt greyed out,and the network unlock too before the 180 days. but oem wasnt REALLY unlocked just the carrier was. and being that metro is my preferred service it was kinda useless. But yea if anybody help working on something for this model im all in to try w.e....lets get it!

So I just moved to US and my brother got my the worst Sprint phone ever. I seriously want to upgrade. I had a look at the Sprint store and I am eligible for the upgrade in 2014 which sucks. I can buy a replacement phone from Sprint but they have super crazy prices over there.
So my next option was to buy a used one online. So I found some great deals for used ones and I am satisfied with them. But here comes the dilemma.
My friend told that I could get a TMobile Sim card for a $0.99 (http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/prepaid-phone/T-Mobile-Prepaid-SIM-Activation-Kit) and then use any GSM unlocked phone.
So the Question is whether I should switch to tmobile and go pre-paid OR buy a used one right now and then after 2 years be more happy!
What would you guys do?
Thanks
Yeah, I like pancakes.

You can't use a T-Mobile SIM card in your Spirit phone so either way you need buy a used phone. (Whether it's a Sprint compatible one or a T-Mobile one). Personally, I hate CDMA phones. I'd go with T-Mobile.

Hello. I recently, and after much trouble, had the Sprint technical support "unlock" my phone for international travel. I wasn't planning on traveling soon and decided to switch my unlocked phone to T-mobile, but they are unable to do it sending me back and forward through both companies...
Finally I talked to HTC support, and was pretty much told to get a new rom and "third party" software unlock.
I know how to unlock bootloader, and flash roms (change mobile settings to GSM and all that) , and am about to try a software unlock from local threads here at xda, but I can't seem to find APN settings for T-mobile.
I'd appreciate any help

Anyways here's the apn for tmobile http://apn-settings.com/t-mobile-apn-settings-step-by-step-configuration/ if it doesn't work a Google search for tmobile apn will give u many results

Lol they told u to root the device and install a new Rom and use our method of unlocking it? That's bizarre, did they tell u the process will void your warranty?
Anyways here's the tmobile apn http://apn-settings.com/t-mobile-apn-settings-step-by-step-configuration/ if that doesn't work then u can Google search tmobile apn and it will return a lot of results

Thank you for your help. Yes, it was odd that HTC implied that I used a third party solution, and this was after so much back and forth communication with Sprint and Tmobile tech help.
I was finally able to sim unlock, and use those APN settings succesfully (it wasn't easy), however, I'm not sure those APN settings give me LTE since only epc.tmobile.com seems to work, and it gives me a 3G symbols, as well as an H symbols, which I assume is HSPA?
I'm still not sure about this, so I will try different APN settings, and see what sticks (BTW I'm in Florida, trying to use this device on TMobile).

You won't get LTE if you're using a Sprint One on T-Mo

Use one click root. You have to create an account and it cist around $30, but the at&t s5 is very tricky. They will do it for you by remote access to your computer. Youll need an internet connection on your computer.

I just got my s5 and it came with g900aucu4bof2.
I bought it because I knew the phone could be rooted because I have had it before. But now all I'm reading is since this update came OTA, that they cannot root it anymore and I'm like bummmmmed out
What I'm wondering is if there might be a way to revert the phone back to an earlier version somehow, or is this maybe only something Samsung can do?

I've been on XDA for three-four years now. Honestly many things are very undocumented. Ie around bootloader and stuff. DO NOT attempt to flash it. I am a flash/dev experienced person and have bricked two GS3s in one day doing this. Stay the **** away from bootloader evne if your phone is rooted. Stick to flashing Roms/Gapps/modem NEVER bootloader.
I returned my upgrade to ATT and found something on craiglist. You have to shp around though to just get the build no and spend some time on weekends going out to chec the phone yourself. Most plebs cant find it if you asked for it
Good luck man. And as already stated, yeah no one wrote this clearly before I decided to spend the time to order this phone online. Idiotic. Samsung ruined a lot of their brand locking it with knox
Look at the HTC 8/9/Nexus (comes unlocked still rootable, no external memory/battery though), Zenfone2 (only reason I didn't get this was lack of battery info, otherwise I would have jumped at it).
I have a Verizon Samsung S21 Ultra it has April update G998U1UEU3AUdd, I just got service with T-Mobile the phone works for almost 10 minutes till I get a Verizon message, is not black listed, the unlocking company they just hold my money, just to said they can't get it done at the moment the same with a guy on eBay,
is anyone here can help me or where I can get it unlock.
thanks I really appreciate,
Is a Verizon branded Galaxy phone even compatible with T-Mobile?

My Verizon s21 ultra unlocked automatically after 6o days of service.
If you've had it since April on Verizon and are having trouble with the unlock I'd call Verizon. I don't know of any unlock service that works for Verizon since it's done on their servers. Maybe someone else has had luck.

Can someone tell me why my phone has two different imei numbers?
Any update on this? I'm having the same issue with an S21 5G from VZW. I've tried changing the CSC to XAA and ATT and still get the same issue.
Hello, it's been quite a while since I posted in here, but I'm hoping to pick the experts' brains on this one. So I purchased a Galaxy S20 FE 5G from digicircle.com that was supposed to already be unlocked and ready to use on any carrier. I mentioned the source website in the interest of being thorough, not as advertising. I want to cover all bases to get the best possible answer for my issue. This phone is a Verizon phone. According to my carrier, Boost, Verizon phones that are unlocked are supposed to be compatible with their network. However, when I entered the IMEI on their website, there is an error. If anyone is interested in what the error is, I can post it in a comment reply upon request. I called Boost, and customer service said the phone may not be unlocked. So I contacted Verizon, who refuses to give me any information regarding whether the phone is locked or not, and even mentioned the phone may be blacklisted, which it is not, as I have ran the IMEI on a couple checker websites, and even contacted Samsung and had them run it, and in all cases it came back clean. So I went through a third party site, rapidnlock.com to obtain an unlock code, since I wasn't getting anywhere. Again, all in the interest of being thorough with the information. So the problem I'm having is I can't get the prompt for entering the code to come up. It's supposed to automatically pop up when I start the phone with my Boost SIM inserted, but nothing happens. I also tried using the USSD code for the prompt, and it tells me that there is either a connection error or the code is invalid. And this message pops up even if I enter the IMEI code. So I'm at a loss for what to do here. I hope someone has the answer. If it comes down to it, I will return the phone and get my money back, as I have found this phone on ebay similarly priced, though unlocked from T-Mobile, which now is merged with Sprint and should definitely be compatible with Boost, if it is a compatibility issue and Boost's customer service is a bunch of idiots (which at this point wouldn't surprise me). Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy post, and I look forward to your answers.
