I was checking out the GPS Test program on the Chartcross Ltd. site and noticed this product:

They claim that you can use it to play MP3's etc...over a Bluetooth headset. Has anyone tried using this product to play music on the stereo in your car?
I would prefer to connect the phone to the car directly like you can with an iPod, but I have not seen any software support for that. My car has a 6 disc changer that uses the same port the iPod jack uses so unless I want to tear apart the dash I am stuck.
I think everybody that uses a bt headset has this program.
On Kaiser use this, BTaudio Toggle, it's free and works great.
Isn't that Kaiser support A2DP natively w/o any extra software? I don't have any issue to listen to music using my BT stereo headset or bluetooth head unit.

A2DP has nothing to do with mono audio redirection. This thread is on the latter, not on A2DP.
I've long ago elaborated on this subject at, say, http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...t using traditional (mono) Bluetooth headsets
I've seen a few car headunits for sale that support bluetooth A2DP (sony/pioneer ect..).
We can steam music from our device to the car stereo, however has anyone managed to activate these functions using VC 1.6?
Is it possible to use stereo bluetooth in g1 to listen to music ?
Stereo bluetooth
Yes my friend i have a motorola S9 stereo bluetooth head set and work perfectly
Bought a new smart tv that is capable of outputting bt sound. No bt headphones tho. So i have an "old" android phone just gathering dust. Can i make it into an A2DP receiver so i can plug my wired headphones in ?
Hi all,
I've been searching around and it seems there are many use cases for this, mine specifically is I have a cheap AA screen which I want to display Waze on, but I want the music/audio to go through the cars standard bluetooth stereo system.
When you connect to wireless android auto all audio is routed over wireless to that unit. Is there any way around this?
The unit I bought only has a terrible inbuilt speaker or FM transmitter for audio output, and the quality of both is awful.
Hi. I have the same problem
Short answer, No - Android Auto routes only phone calls over Bluetooth and all other audio is routed through WiFi or USB. This is by design.
