Hey boys, I'm from Sydney and ordered my phone through Telstra
I later find out that Samsung will sell dual sim version through normal shops and single sim with all operators ( vodafone, telstra etc )
now that's my question.
will I be able to use dual sim if I buy a sim tray which allows 2 sim and flashing a firmware from dual sim version or the dual sim version has a different hardware too?
thanks

Yes,I ordered the purple 8/512 about 24hrs ago, from T-MoUS,expecting delivery by this Friday.
There's a lot to like,my favorite improvements include the 8GB RAM & the blockier/less-rounded edges. :good:

Im going to go for the copper version, can get the 128gb now but will wait for the 512gb for another week or so.
Really debating going with an n9600 instead of a exynos version for once just to try the snap out. At least the BL isnt locked on it so i can have root and twrp

A true dual sim device will have *two* IMEIs listed on the box.
My Exynos S9+ does.

There have been alot of questions lately on whether the n9600 would work on verizon!.
You should make a post on this so everyone can see, would be very useful

Has the same bands as hk s8+ does. No reason it shouldn't work. I was even able to get volte working on it, once I got it rooted.

You should open a thread on it for sure. I know with the S9 and S9+ they just had to flash the Puerto Rico firmware to get signal. I'm definitely trying it when the firmware is released. Maybe the shipping firmware will work out of the box this time though.

It works fine on VZW, except no volte...Once root is established, we should be able to enable it. Unfortunately, there is zero dev support for this device.

Hi All
I recently purchased Note 9 512gb version in the UK and one of my reasons was to try out one ui. I was very excited but to my disappointment i discovered no one ui for the uk note 9 just yet. I wonder if there is a way to flash this software on uk phone without rooting etc?
thanks

From what is known, there will be no beta for the note 9. There is a leaked firmware/ROM beta, but it's for snapdragon variant. You will have to count on the other reasons you get the phone and wait till January for that one.

No, OneUi also runs on Pie.
Exynos Note 9 where can i get it from USA and be unlocked
why ?
i have the exynos dual sim unlocked but based on battery and speed tests i would rather exchange it with snapdragon even with 1 sim

Hello guys
I am planning to buy s10 next week. It's exynos version. And has android 9 and 1ui old version . I think I will get android 10 and 1ui 2 on OTA. But my doubt is , how I get all the camera patches, finger print sensor patches and other updates that samsung given all 2019 year ? Pls help me before I buy and stuck with unpatched softwares.
I just bought a Snapdragon Verizon (US varient) S10, I flashed the international version S10 software to it and now i have android 10 and one ui2
Terrible battery life on the Exynos.
I don't get ota as I'm TKD, and I still had the patch for fingerprint. the rest you can always update once it is available to download

I am not.... The S20 is way overpriced for what it is... I have the S10+ and it's been one of the worst devices in years I've had... I wouldn't trust Samsung to give a decent device again in particular paying what they want for the S20
I am really interested in getting the S21 Ultra but need a dual sim phone for my work number. Speaking with Samsung support, the only version of the S21 Ultra that is dual sim and has the Snapdragon 888 is the Chinese version. Looking online I can find some online that ship to Canada.
What should I know before buying a Chinese Samsung phone. I have read that I need to manually install google play services. Is there anything else?
It's the Sm-g9980. It's a snapdragon dual sim.
I have the note 20 equivalent. Biggest issue seems to be getting updates. We are the forgotten model. Still on android 10.

If I flash a different ROM, would I lose dual sim?
Go through the forums on note 20 ultra. I am sure you will find there's little or no option for that.
Samsung Pay might not work.
