Your PC may not have the CODEC. What is the error message getting? Have you tried VLC Player in PC?

[Q] Problem with YouTube video playback

Hello,
Suddenly I have a problem with YouTube video playback. The videos start streaming ok, but the appear small (not fullscreen) and very low quality. It used to work fine. The locally recorded videos play nice even in 720p. The problem is with the streaming video player.
I installed the LagFix (which works miracles) at somepoint earlier. Do you think that this could cause this problem? Any one else has seen it?
Thanks,
Michael

[Q] Allshare - playing HD movies from PC

Hello,
I would like to be able to play HD 720p movies on my SGN over wifi network, but even though I'm using the "n" standard I only get "signal to weak" message (even standing near my router). Standard 480p videos play ok. The strange thing is that I'm able to play 720p videos from SGN on my computer (even though they are not fluid - but maybe it's codec thing...)
Anyone could recommend something or had similar experience with hd videos?
Thanks
720p and 1080p works fine here. What's your network speed?
are you talking about dlna? ive tried streaming 720p videos to a LG tv. Lags at the start for like 10 sec but then its just normal. works great imo =)

You're talking about playing video on SGN or on TV? My laptop connects to router at 280-300Mb/s and SGN gets max 65Mb/s.
try BSplayer
BSPlayer lite on market

Wow LAN mode on this app really kicks ass! I was able to play 720p and even 1080p over wifi without any problem! And it's so easy to setup too I wonder why Allshare doesn't work this way Thanks for the tip man!
Good morning all,
I have one annoying problem.
Consider following scenario:
I open through LAN Mode or ES File Explorer a .mkv file direct from my home machine. This is done over WiFi Dongle. In other words - i stream video from my local machine over to my Samsung Galaxy Note. What is happening is that after a few minutes the picture and the sound freezes. I have to close BS Player, close ES File Explorer and open the video again. This is happening with all kind of videos. Even 1080p are played butter smooth but it freezes every 4-5-6 minutes.
I've tested with a laptop - no such problem.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? I'm using BS Player Lite.

It looks to me that your wifi dongle can't maintain stable signal. Try searching for new drivers for it.

That is the problem with the cache I guess, either ES or BS are not able to handle the huge memory size of 720/1080P. Try MX Player.

1080p content playback over HDMI

I'm having troubles with stuttering when I'm trying to play 1080p blue ray content over HDMI. I have tried stock 2.3 and CM7 both with similar results. I noticed that when I overclock to 1.4ghz stuttering is less. My question is how is possible to play without stuttering?
Sent from my Optimus 2X using Tapatalk 2
to me it worked with no problem
i have a friend who works in a service shop who tested it for me
he tested on an LG TV
maybe it`s because of the TV?
i also put a video filmed with the phone on my Samsung TV worked ok also
Well I think "1080p Blue Ray" is too much.
I usually convert my vids to 720p mp4, it plays flawless that way. The phone is not a dedicated video player
O, wait, I'm assuming you're using the stock video player, no? Cause if you're not, that may be the issue.
Other players in the market use software decoding, while LG's stock use hardware decoding. Given LG has full access of the Tegra's code, it allows the player to make full use of the chipset's power.
i think i might know. it`s stuttering because the amount of data needed to be processed by the phone is too big. since you said it`s blue-ray.
also the vid is probably big. more than 8GB. since the standard format used by the phones is FAT. you probably converted it to NTFS or exFAT?

Dlna 1080p videos

I tried to watch my 1080p videos through my hdtv using the stock gallery app. The reproduction was not fluid at all. Both sound and picture kept stuttering. There wasn't any problem with 720p videos. I know galaxy s4 can send 1080p videos via dlna without problem. If it isn't a snapdragon 600 issue, is there anything can do to watch my videos through my tv? A setting or another app maybe?
Could it be a through put issue in your network?
my One works great with MHL adapter but when i try to use the HTC Media Link i get issues. Its a result of my network set up and how i have my WiFi configured. I need more throughput for my larger files / movies to work properly over WiFi.
Have not tried DLNA yet. But i do have a PS3 so maybe i should attempt to set that up.
Try Skifta app. Works super well thru dlna 4me ?
Htc One the One ?

Downloaded Video Keeps Stopping

Dear all,
Does anyone have any problems with local videos keep being stopped. It does not pause or whatever and the phone is not frozen. I would have to switch app and back again for the video to start working again. It is not on streaming. Video is downloaded.
Initially i thought there was a problem with my MX player pro and so i tried Samsung default video player as well and it still keeps doing that. My s10 is updated to the latest version and is not rooted.
Any advice would be welcoming please. I even did a factory reset and still the same problem persists.
Videos on the sd card or no?
Nope. Video is on internal drive not sd card. And also all optimizations are off for Samsung Video Player and MX pro
