my friend bought a new s20 fe 5g and installed devcheck app, showed 206 battery cycle already. Is it normal with a new battery to have 206 battery cycle? or the one my friend bought is not a new one just refurbished unit? Thanks
Not normal.
Bought mine 1 month ago. 26 cycles since then.

Hi guys
The preorder is up early morning itself. Place my pre-order for S21 Ultra Phantom Navy (Custom Color) from Samsung Online. Noticed the special note that it will take 3-4 weeks for getting it ready. I hope they deliver sooner than 3-4 weeks.
Whats your choice guys? Model-Color etc.
Thanks.
I've got the Phantom black S21Ultra. Love it! Still wish we got the SD888 version here though.. Not a fan of anything Exynos
Still waiting for Phantom Navy. Samsung shipped the free buds pro yesterday. Phone is not coming for another 2 weeks
Hi guys.
Does it worth to trade my OnePlus 7 Pro with S20 fe?
Thank you.

If you're not sure, the answer is no - only upgrade for clear improvements/performance gains - otherwise why would you upgrade?

I have oneplus 7 pro 1 and a half year and I want some change.
That's why I'm thinking of S20 fe.

there are dozens of videos on YouTube of the OnePlus 8T (newer than yours) up against S20FE and Pixel 4a etc. go watch a bus load of videos and you'll have a better idea. aside from that FE will have a newer processor, a memory card slot or dual SIM, but only you should decide if it's worth it.
remember there are a few versions of the FE and they are not all the same.

Nope. It's not worth it. It also charges too slowly compared to oneplus. Wait for s21 fe or oneplus 9

I agree - and I just upgraded to the S20 FE 5G. But I was coming from a Galaxy S9+, which is a year older than your 7 Pro. Even then, the S20 FE doesn't blow me away in comparison - I actually think the screen is nicer (and brighter in normal use) on the S9+, and I'm still getting used to the punch hole camera, and lack of a notification light. I bought it mainly for the increase in storage (as I use the SD Card slot for a second SIM, so can't add memory) and the 120 MHz display, faster processor etc. Even then, I don't really find it noticeably faster in normal use - as I mentioned in another post, it never ceases to amaze me just how much marketing departments and the media exaggerate each year's (real world) improvements. All of which is to say that phones have gotten so good - and have been for a few years now - that it makes no sense to upgrade until you either have to or there is a clear advantage to doing so.
Edit: Having done some more side-by-side comparison, the S20 FE 5G is noticeably faster of course, and the screen is fine. Plus, the battery life has been stellar. All-in-all, it's a great phone for the price - especially the 8GB/256GB 5G version.

You generally don't want your phones to charge really fast, it's extremely detrimental to battery's lifespan. 15W-25W is already overdoing it and should be the maximum for most people.
I rarely get this phone below 50% and then it's up to 75 again pretty quick. if you want your phone to charge faster turn off Wi-Fi, go into airplane mode or even better switch it off for 30 mins.

Or, better yet, just don't constantly watch it charge...
Hey guys, is there a legit online shop so I can buy the Snapdragon variant G9980 for example so it can work here in portugal with 5G?
You'll loose your warranty. Given the hardware issues this model is having that could get expensive sooner then latter...

The 5G may turn out to be more trouble than it's worth.
It's also running on Android 11 which is less than user friendly. Problems with the display. No SD card slot. No Spen.
A month agoI was looking at the N20U Snapdragon and the N10+ of which I already have one.
The 10+ has better color rendering, zero display issues than the 20U and the 21U but no variable refresh rate.
In the end I opted for a new 10+/Snapdragon running on Q for $800. It runs great... no regrets. My older 10+ is 2 years old, it looks and runs like new. One replacement battery on this heavily used device.
Current OS load is over 1.5 years old still fast and stable. In my opinion the 10+ was Samsung's last great flagship in terms of quality, usability and reliability... it's no accident that I own two.

Of the three SM-G9980 Variants the Hong Kong device is most likely to be compatible with 5G in Portugal. Some claim the Taiwan Variant (BRI) is identical to the Hong Kong Variant (TGY) but I don't believe that's the case. Stay away from the China Variant (CHC), it's lacking in a number of areas. Where you buy it will depend on how much internal storage you need and whether you want a new or used device. If you need a new 512GB model the best option are handful of Hong Kong Retailers. You will still have the warranty but the retailer in Hong Kong will need to process a claim. You can find them on eBay and they ship worldwide so your location isn't an issue.

I have the S10+ and an S21 Ultra. The S10+ is a nice option, it's smaller, lighter, has external memory and a 3.5 jack. Taken in total the S10+ is no match to the S21 Ultra, not even close. No hardware or display issues, it runs faster and smoother, much better cameras, better battery life and it charges much faster. You certainly like the S10+ better and that's fine but to suggest it's a better device than an S21 Ultra, sorry that's just not the case.
You'll lose warranty
Your software updates may not happen (was the case with UAE S9+ in UK at least)
5G = 180 Mbit / 25ms, 4G = 160 Mbit/35-40ms in my place. Given the fact 5G consumes far more energy I did switch it off. 160Mbit + 40ms is far above enough for everything I need. And +20Mbit does not compensate more consumption of battery. I do have bad experiences with Exynoses. Since Note3, they are really bad. The newest one is not far better. It is hot as hell, battery life is not as good as in Huawei. But ... new Snapdragon is also bad It does not worth to lose warranty protection for S21 Ultra and buying more expensive one from HK/US. Previous generation was different. Snapdragon was far better. Now processors are almost equal (except Snap is not that much hot). So - go for Exynos with warranty

on Wonda mobile. The G9980 in italy works perfectly
Hi ,
I am looking to change my Realme X2Pro, I think it is time, I pre ordered this when it was released in Nov 2019.
I was waiting for the 12 Ultra but it seems it won t be released before summer. I am based in Ireland.
Would you rather pay a 1000 Eur and get a Mi 11 Ultra now or spend 600 only and get a Mi 11 just to change my old phone, with a view of getting a 12 Ultra later on the year
The prices are from Wondamobile, one of the few who guarantee a factory sealed box and no custom fees.
I d love to hear your opinion, thanks!
D.
I was also going to buy 12 Ultra but chose to go for 11 Ultra instead. The reason for this is only small changes, better price and heat from the new cpu.
Hey guys,
Currently I am using OP 7t..its been 3 years and now i want to upgarde to new phone.
Req-
Great battery life
Great software support
Longevity atleast for 3 years .
Camera is not a concren but apparently moto has a great camera
I am considering moto edge 30 ultra 256gb but is the software relaible ? Will we get 3 years of update?
Or should i wait for 3 months and get s23 plus of op 11 pro ?
Too Confused
I am getting edge 30 ultra 256gb in INR 47000 too after exchanging my old phone.
I am not considering iphone either.
Please help
Wait for the S23. Samsung long term support is way better and they ditched exynos.
Even if you dont care about the camera you should always consider the second hand market. Phone is gonna lose 80% of its price point if word gets out about their broken camera system.
am enjoying my moto x30 pro more than my samsung s22 ultra , it's small & powerful.
