Hi, happy to be in.
I want to remove Bloatware from my android phone. Its doesn't have wireless debugging option, so i was trying to do it by USB Debugging. I never tried it before.
I need your help.
Thanks
Ok, i'm self taught, i'm not developper because i didn't study it but Technology is very interesting. So i'm here to learn.

Hey everybody. I've been looking around for a solution to this, but nothing came out. Before flashing my flashing my Galaxy S to Darky's 9.2 (and now 9.3), when I connected my stock SGS to my PC through USB, it used to ask me what kind of connection I'd use, between Kies, USB Storage and Share Internet Connection (not sure on this one). Now it just connects in Kies mode: the only way to connect as USB Storage is using USB Debugging mode. How can I make my phone ask me what I want to do, as it did before?
Oh, by the way, Kies won't recognize my SGS. Even if I switch back to TWLauncher.
Thank you for your future help!

Thank you JJEgan for your reply, but this is not a solution, it's just going past the issue.
Settings> Wireless and network > Usb settings > Ask on connection. If you have USB debugging enabled you will need to turn it off.

Crap, I feel stupid. I've never thought about looking there. Thank you mate!
Hello!
ADB is not listing my Droid 3 when I have it connected. I've tried in various modes (Charge Only, PC Mode, etc..) many many times, rebooting the computer, etc... but nothing seems to make it show up.
I do get the connected thing and the window pops up giving information on the phone (number of voicemails, missed calls, etc...) but ADB doesn't see it.
This is for Windows 7 and I have the latest Motorola drivers installed.
Any ideas? I'd like to root the phone but it just won't show up.
Thanks!

This and it needs to be in "Charge Only," mode.
Additionally, make sure you have the Java SDK installed, correctly.
Better to be overprepared, than brick bieng underprepared. while we have tools to repair certain things, recovering from a total brick isnt possible just yet, so please be careful everyone!
I thought I did have the Java SDK installed but let me double-check. I am sure about the charge only & development mode, though.
Hi,
I am having trouble enabling USB debugging. The setting looks ok, and I can mark it, but if I go back, and enter the Developer Options again, the check box is not marked anymore. So somehow it seems that it is not saving it. If i stay in the Developer options menu after enabling it, it isn't working either.
My phone is rooted, but still on stock software. I am running build JRO03C.I9305XXALK5
I have tried searching for this issue, but noone seems to experience the same thing.
Any suggestions?

I just wanted to make a quick check to see if this was the only Developer option that was affected (It was). But then i tried again with USB debugging, and it works(!). It stopped working again later on, but simply enabling/disabling another option (I used 'Protect SD card') seems to "fix" it temporarily. :fingers-crossed:
Try dialing *#7284#
Select "Qualcomm USB Settings"
Select "MTP+ADB"
Hit OK and go back to exit
DO NOT PLAY WITH OTHER SETTINGS !!
This should switch it on and leave it on.
To go back to the normal setting use the first Option "MTP"
Hey, First post so I apologize if I'm in the wrong section.
Basically I'm trying to get USB Debugging enabled on my S6 to run builds of a game i'm making in Unity.
Problem I'm having that in my developer options, USB Debuggin is completely grayed out, I've found out this is because Knox has restricted its use. (WHY?!)
I've searched my phone for a multitude of ways to remove Knox or at least disable it but keep coming up short.
In knox's settings there are no icons for uninstalling.
I've tried to run :
Su pm disable com.sec.knox.seandroid
In terminal emulator which hasn't given me any luck and short of rooting the phone (which I'd really rather not do as I'd brick it, without question) I'm out of ideas and pumped up on sheer frustration.
Any help would be well appreciated.
What's the model and the android version?
Hey guys,
Im using companys Bring Your Own Device service.
One thing whichbis not possible here is, the using of USB Debugging Mode.
Cant even activate it.
The service runs with [email protected] and installs a extra playstore, chrome and several company app.
Anyone here familiar with such services and an idea how to activate debugging mode?
Cheers
