Anyone noticing that after updating to OneUI 4 upon turning on the phone it does not say "Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G", not is says only "Samsung Galaxy". Or am I the only one who got this "bug"?
Weirdly, my wifes S20+ already got the february security patch while Im still waiting for an update. And on her phone the bootup logo hasnt changed at all.

Here's the main issue with this new Gear that I'm trying to test:
After I pair the Gear V700 /w a Galaxy S4 (matching the codes and whatnot), both devices seem to think they are paired. However, the Gear just shows a screen that has the Gear on the left, a spinning thing in the middle, and a phone on the right. I can get to the volume/brightness screen by double tapping, and can ask it to restart/power down, so it's not actually stuck.
The other problem is that on the Gear App on the S4, if I go to Paired Gear > Software update > Update, it doesn't actually seem to do anything. Perhaps I've somehow disabled the Updater? I looked to make sure this was not the case. The software version is JDQ39.V700XXUAMII.

I'm having the exact same issue. Were you ever able to get it figured out?
I had same problem as i am using sony z ultra, i downloaded 1.2 gear manager and touched the back of phone with charger whilst i had NFC on, worked
I got an older version of the Gear V R which is for the Note 4 from Ebay, and the seller has been very responsive with me, saying he tried it and tested it with his Note 4, before shipping and it worked perfectly. I installed the Oculus soft ware and it's up grades successfully, after connecting the phone to the head set. But when I put the phone in to get to the Oculus menu, I get a black screen, with a little message popping up saying that the Oculus run time has unexpectedly closed, that hangs for a few seconds, but the black screen stays. I do get to a V R Oculus menu occasionally, but it stays visible for about 10 seconds, then it goes back to the black screen and doesn't come back again
I am in the United Kingdom (London ) , but I have an American version of the Note 4 with AT&T soft ware built in. I am also still on Android 5.1.1 , as I can't upgrade the American version of the Note 4 because of regional differences. The soft ware upgrade version is greyed out
Could the soft ware up date be an issue? Or is there some thing else?
Thanks
Peeps,
I am going to go with this chronically, although i am not sure if things are connected to each other.
1. A few months back, Watch didnt pair with Phone, i noticed that Galaxy Wearable disappeared from my phone. I manually installed the APK as the update wasnt available on the stores.
2. Again, past two months, i kept randomly losing my alarms in Samsung Clock...although, never manually updated this one.
3. Yesterday, i get a notification from Galaxy Wearable that i should install Samsung Health if i want to sync the stats between the watch and phone/cloud. Well, i updated the app to get Dark Mode cause the update does not show up on the store. How the hell did it delete itself?
All this, coming after some shady Chinese company detected in Device Care (not anymore, i know) and randomly receiving the Find My Mobile notification (i am one of them).
Phone is not rooted, and i am VERY sure i do not have any malware on it.
Samsung health got uninstalled, seemingly by itself, on my Note too. Two days ago.
Hello today my phone updated and
it keeps update notification won’t go away (persistent update notification)Phone is Samsung S21 Ultra. What can i do to get rid of this notification?
Try a restart, if that doesn't work then clear cache and restart again.
Bought new Galaxy S20 FE August last year. Put my favorite radio app on it and it keeps going off/on/off/on/off/on etc.
My old S8 with cracked screen keeps on working nonstop.
Have been told its the buffering thats doing it.
Any ideas as to what I can do to fix the problem
TIA
