Mi8 and redmi note 5 didn't have this problem too, i think it'll be permanent deflect for 11t pro. If they can fix with updates why should they allow this happened for 5 months.
yes, that's right, I used to use the redmi note 5 too, and there was a problem on miui 10 if I'm not mistaken, and until the last time I used it there was no solution
I tried to use the button, and often when I touch the Back and Recent buttons it doesn't respond, have to touch it several times, are you also experiencing the same thing?
I've faced same issue, nothing fixed since MIUI 12.5, anything news about MIUI 13?

Hello,
When I was in ROM global 9.6.4 I had the notifications icons of Gmail and Whatsapp on the Always On Display. I switched to the stable ROM 10.0.2.0 and since I have any more no notifications (except sms, messenger) on the AOD.
Here is the icon which I had on the AOD

The problem of the not present notifications on the AOD, does not seem to fascinate and/or to hamper many people while it is very practical all the same
I contacted international Xiaomi is here is their answer:
"Hi,
Thank you for Supporting Xiaomi customer Support. I am Neha and sorry to know that you are facing the issue with the notification after the MIUI update.
I would like to inform you that our team is already working on the concern and we will try to resolve your complaint at the earliest.
I hope this information will be helpful for you and for any further assistance, feel free to contact us.
Regards,
Neha

So, they know about the problem and they work on it, but that does not seem to be their priority because the problem is long to be solved!

Like in this picture above, here is how you do it.
You can these three themes.
1. Android Q Stock V11
2. Worns Hiram Hijau V11
3. Google Pixel 4
If dual punch holes don't show up, restart your device.
PS. You can apply only the status bar and it will work as well.
Dark mode must be off. Won't work with dark mode enabled.
The application you need for the battery ring is called "Ring Ring"
Make sure you lock it in memory or it will get killed everytime you lock your device.
Great. Tks for info..!!
Works perfectly! Thank you for sharing this tutorial.

Theme is unavailable at chinese rom though. I find the theme at my phone mi 8 lite global the first and second. Third is unavailable.

Use energy ring general edition. It will give you a pill shaped batt indicator
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen
you can use dual punch cutout in any theme.
1.just backup the theme using miui theme editor to your storage.
2.Make a copy of it.
3.Then rename the theme from mtz to zip. Extract the file and rename com.android.systemui to com.android.zip
4.paste the attached file to com.android. zip/res/drawable-xxhdpi/
5.change com.android.zip to com.android.systemui
now replace com.android.systemui with the copied one in step 2
6.now import it if you are using eu or use miui theme editor to install in poco x2.
Edit: stupid question. deleted.
can't find the mentioned themes. does anyone have backup of them? please share

It is an issue as I can't install some programs because of this.

You can make it appear by pressing" reset to default values" a couple of time under the auto fill heading in developer options (just above where miui optimization settings should be. If this option is greyed out you need to set your auto fill service as google (under language and input settings)
My Push Notification always get stuck in the background. Very annoying especially for Whatsapp which is my main text messaging app.
Turning the MIUI Optimization off to test if it helps on the above matter.
Right off the bat, I have noticed 2 other issues after tuning MIUI Optimization off:
1) the MIUI Theme doesn't work on all App Icons anymore
2) the keyboard keep reverting back to MIUI default keyboard (Sogou)
3) some apps permission was reset

No that doesn't work in newer versions of the .eu rom.
same problem
they should have let the users decide whether they want miui optimization on or off. heck these users even unlocked bootloader, flashed custom rom and root, a freaking miui BS is the least of their concern

yes good i solev it !
open terminal on android or use "adb shell" in command line on windows

It's kinda funny how many people cry about having the option to turn MIUI optimizations off, yet clearly confirm the original reason why the devs made the setting hidden - barely anybody actually understands what the setting really does, they just assume what it does based on its name and the fact that certain features might be "fixed" by turning the setting off.
