When I check the anti-rollback index in mine, the result of this error is:getvar: anti failed (remote: getvar variable not found)What does this mean?I am currently in Chinese ROM miui 12.0.4 stable (qjocnxm) now If I flash Global rom V11.0.5.0.QJOMIXM, and if my mobile has anti-rollback enabled, will the mobile be bricked?plz let me know plzfeeling_so_confused _ & _ helpless

Don't even try to flash old version of miui in fastboot mode
There is a way to break this system by flashing in twrp, but it's not guaranteed
For safety, don't install old miui if you love your device

unlock your bootloader and with twrp you can roll it back but before you need to wipe all the data from custom recovery

But, actually all firmwares keep in same rollback version.
So you can have V12.0.6.0 installed and then flash older version, as V11.0.2.0. Or opposed.
If you are using V12.0.4.0 or lower, you can flash without EDL and authentication.
If you are using V12.0.5.0 or higher, you need EDL and authentication for flashing.
If you want to use sp flash tool, you need to flash the stock rom preloader using V12.0.4.0 (or lower). (It will works perfectly with lower preloader binary version).
With an older preloader version, your phone will can receive DA files and accept flashing with NO auth.
Everything you need to do is plug your phone in usb (without press any key, if you press any key it will enter in EDL mode and requests authenticaion).

I mean, I was able to downgrade from MIUI 12.5.4 (Android 11) back to 12.0.1 (Android 10) with no verification or anything like that. I didn't get any errors or render my device useless. Maybe, I was just lucky?

It's not a variable "anti." It's called "rollback_ver" or "rollback" on MediaTek devices. I was also confused about this.

[Guide] How I decrypted A11 TWRP!

I was trying to update from MIUI A11 EEA 12.1.2 to EEA 12.1.4 but my TWRP couldn't access my data partition.
Note that you may or may not have to do some of these steps. Let me know what works!
1. Removed pattern, fingerprint etc. (Try without removing this first.)
2. I used LRs TWRP, whyle might work. Let me know.
3. Important! Go to fastboot and boot to twrp from there using "Fastboot boot twrp.img". Do not flash to recovery.
4. You're in! Flash your downloaded ROM immediately from your internal storage.
This is what worked for me, and hopefully yours too. I dread the format data button.

You don't need to use twrp to upgrade with official release, just download the zip to your phone, go to settings, about phone, miui version and tap on the miui logo multiple times until the message "additional update features are on". Then you will have option to choose update package from phone storage and can update to newer miui without twrp (even without bootloader unlocking)

I have one Redmi 10X 5G work fine. Yesterday I just want to flash Gapps. So I follow this instruction.

After "fastboot boot recovery" it call error and stuck at logo bootloop. I cant even go to recovery or fastboot. NO EDL. I wait my batteries drained and reset but it still no hope. I thought maybe it hate me. You guys have any solutions here. ? Please help...

Does NOT exist "fastboot boot recovery".

unofficialtwrp.com says to you flash the file misc.bin too.
But it can brick your device and cause bootloop.
unofficialtwrp.com does not say nothing to you.
I suggest you to avoid the website unofficialtwrp.com forever.
Just follow the steps:

SP FLASH TOOL V6 is not compatible.
You need to use SP FLASH TOOL V5.

Question Bricked Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro

Ive been trying to flash a global rom to my xiaomi Mi 11 pro for some time.I have flashed twrp but obviously it doesnt stick around if the rom flash does not work. I cant seem to find one on the latest Venus firmware, every time i attempt to flash the latest available on xiaomi dot EU it comes up with the firmware is star/mars and your device is venus. i attempted to flash back to china recovery https://xiaomirom.com/en/download/mi-11-venus-weekly-21.9.29/ and this bricked my device.Unsure if its trying to boot the wrong partition a/b but then i dont know what im talking about really. Can anyone offer some advice on this?
As a side ote, the phone does not turn on, connect to pc, boot to recovery or reset mode.

Seems to me you flashed firmware for Mi 11 Pro, and you have Venus which is Mi 11, and this is Mi 11 forum. ? Also you don't need twrp to flash official firmware, global or EEA version.

Mi 11 Pro is Mars and share the same ROM than Star (Mi 11 Ultra) but it's NOT Venus (Mi 11).
TWRP is the same for Mars/Star. Anyway your Mi 11 Pro has nothing to do with a Mi 11 Venus.
The only way is to flash the fastboot CN Official here
But apparently you can't access fastboot mode ?
