If you want to use any other rom than official stock miui, you need to unlock bootloader first.

Hi guys,
I tried to flash eu rom throught twrp but when flash start the phone reboots and stuck at mi logo. Can someone help me?I flash international stock rom with miflash and it succeed..I really need to flash eu rom.
Thx in advance
Even I had no luck using twrp for MIUI Roms. I guess they don't support twrp
It has to be via their stock recovery or via fastboot.
U said u installed international rom, so what is the issue?
when i flash xiaomi.eu rom 7.1.19 via twrp is was succesful but when i try to flash global stable 7.1.19 via twrp
i got stock in boot logo
please help me can i flash global stable rom when i came from xiaomi.eu rom?
the global stable rom is 8.1.2.0 ...
at this page you will find the official roms (stable and dev) with also the link to the flashing guides to accomplish the task
http://en.miui.com/download-299.html
Do you accept/use/like other flashing methods?
advice: do a backup, put it somewhere (your pc, etc) (but not in the phone) and then use the miflash tool / fastboot (wich will erase everything).

So,anyone has been succesfull to flash xiaomi eu rom on indian variant ?? if so what was the procudure ?
I'm on global but what I did was flash original rom on miflash, finish set-up, boot to bootloader, flash twrp, install xiaomi.eu, format data, then reboot. I didn't wipe anything before flashing rom.

i was just wondering if there was any problem with indian variant
what recovery did you used?
ORangefox or official twrp?
I've been trying flash pixel experience on Redmi Note 9 and it had always caused brick.
When I flash vbmeta and boot.img I can access the Recovery but system goes in bootloop. Then I flash stock boot.img for miui 12.5.2 it successfully boot system but Recovery replaced to Stock Recovery.
I flashed the system through recovery after I flashed boot.img and reboot into recovery. After that I Replaced the patched boot.img to stock one then successfully boot.
I am using PE now but can't go to the twrp.
What is wrong here I really need an answer.
Try to flash the full stock MIUI again.

I switched from EEA 12.5 to Global 13.0
Unlocking BL,
Installing twrp,
Booting to twrp,
DL your desired rom,
Flash it,
Finally Reboot
