So I decided to create an archive with different content for our smartphone!
Look elsewhere for installation instructions
If you find other content for our PDA let me know!

[Q] Need some serious help

I have 3 questions :
Q1 > Some applications start without my permission (i.e., I don't actually open them but they keep running in the background)... for example PowerAMP, Remote Notifier, Shottgun, etc.. I HATE IT. I have to kill apps (app killer) everytime i unlock the phone and before locking the phone again. This is irritating!
Q2 > While downloading certain stuff like some links from XDA itself over my phone directly from websites like mega upload or even direct downloads from XDA threads itself, it says, "Failed, this content is not supported on your phone"... I mean, wtf? What does the OS has to do with the stuff not being supported? I should be able to download any god damn stuff I want to. I hate this extraaaa smart aspect of this phone.
Q3 > Root explorer fails operations like pasting and overwriting files in system folder. It used to work before. I'm on Doc's v9.0.1
Help please.... I'm really worked out! Thanks a million.

Minus is alright.. I really like the UI of this tho
Sent from Heaven but I have no clue why I'm on Earth.
File size limits on Box are too restrictive. For mobile uploads you are limited to 25MB. I could just use gmail for that! Sure they give you 50GB but they don't let you store files large enough to ever take advantage of that much space. Dropbox has a new app out that gives you up to 3GB bonus when you install it and upload pictures/videos. I like it better. I have about 12GB on my free DB account that I got by doing all their promotions.
There is one massive flaw to this free 50G storage and that is you can't go above a certain size PER file and that means you can't store backups of your backups on the cloud storage for future use.

Wow, this app looks really nice. Great work, using it now. Thanks....
Update 1.1/1.2
Time to upgrade came for SkyManager! Version 1.2 brings some new features and bug fixes... and a new logo due to some little problems with Microsoft.
New Multi-user / Multi-account
With SkyManager you can now add multiple SkyDrive accounts and switch without having to sign out and in again.
Support for ZIP files
On previous version it was not possible to open ZIP files, now it is! By tapping any ZIP folder it will be opened and you will be able to open any contained documents which formats are supported by your phone (typically Office, PDF and photos). It is read only access.
Support for video files
You can now watch your videos from the app. You don't need to download the entire video since streaming is supported.
New sharing options
You can share any folder or any file, sending a link by email or SMS or even post it to your preferred social networks. Sharing can be also granted with editing permissions.
Shorten URLs
When you share you tipically get a very long url, with SkyManager 1.2 you can shorten the sharing url to something like http://sdrv.ms/abc123. It is also possible to copy the sharing url to the clipboard for any particular use.
Quota information
SkyManager will detail your current used and available space, for each account you have registered in the app.
Available in new countries
Some new countries are included now (the ones added in the latest Marketplace expansion)
Language Localization
The app now its available in Czech, Spanish and Russian.
Other improvements and bug fixes:
Switch to list/detail view is now persistent
Fixed issues with cropping images. Btw, check this article on cropping and sharing to SkyDrive seamlessly
WiFi control button on Upload Center allows you to quickly enable WiFi for faster uploading
Fixed issue causing Office documents in root folder not opening
Fixed some settings in preferences not taking effect
Improved user experience with nicer page transitions
Download
The app is great and as I allready use Appointile I bought it immediatly.
I have one problem:
I only can upload pictures from the pictures hub, if I try it from inside the app the upload doesn´t work correctly. The app is trying to upload but never finishs and stays on this page: uploading to skydrive ...
Hi, did you try with a different photo?
Can you also try 2 photos together?
If problems persist please file this bug here http://reach.jdbpocketware.com/list/11745-skymanager/?order=updated&type=3&status=opened&tag=all

Thx for answering. I found out how it works:
Before uploading you have to set the folder (by tapping on any photo you have selected) where the selected photos should be stored... that´s all.
Strange, because it should upload to root folder if none specified. Will investigate...

After first start it didn´t work but after selecting a folder once all is good now..
Really like the app.
I also suggest an "auto-delete-toggle after uploading" under preferences, but this I have allready posted in the SkyManager idea section...
Good is working now. Please report if anything else goes wrong.
Is there anyway you can get music to show up in Zune via skydrive ?
We haven't tried that yet, but should be possible to implement, the same as video playing which is indeed supported. What happens when you open an audio file from the app?
I found another bug:
if I pin a folder from my skydrive to the startscreen I can´t open files from there beside .zip-files. If I run the pinned apptile I can open all types of files.
Any solution ?
Do you get any error message?

If I try to open pdf files I get this error message:
As mentioned before zip files I can open without any problem, if I start the app by tapping on the apptile I can open all types of files without error
Good job! Espacially that shared stuff works nice.
Though it would be nice if you don't tease people with ad-free screenshots. That's not fair and I think it even is against the terms of AppHub! And I don't like it on XDA too.
But don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having ads in your app. You definately should earn something for your hard work. And I use your app anyway

Thanks for using it. Ads are only present in the free version as in most free apps, in order to have resources to keep supporting the app. Some people make apps for a living
This app performs and function better than the official app. LOL I think MS should just replace their app with this one.
FYI, full version is on sale for $0.99
Thanks

Workplace(KNOX) and Private Folder together

On my Note 8 I had both the Private Folder running with some of my backup social media accounts where I engaged in political debate at the risk of life and limb. I also had the Samsung Workplace(MyKnox) running and used it for access to work so everything is nicely separated.
I am unable to download and install MyKnox, I even got the APK and I get the message "This device is not supported"
Do I have any other alternatives to have what I did with the Note 8 having Private Folder AND MyKnox? Is it possible to have two instances of Private Folder?
The Note 9's battery life alone was worth the upgrade, but losing the ability to keep the private stuff private and the work stuff also in its own container will be a shame.

Try side-loading My Knox from APK Mirror:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/samsung-my-knox/
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu.../samsung-my-knox-2-0-14-android-apk-download/
I don't use Knox,so,I'm not up on the workings of it.
However, the latest version shown here is from 10/2017,so,that would in dicate it's what you had on your Note 8.
Hope this helps, please keep us posted on your results
I tried to install but I get this error.
Are their any alternatives?
I really liked using the Secure Folder for my private stuff and MyKnox for work.
Any chance of having two instances of Secure Folder running?

I think My Knox is no longer available. I used Secure Folder and installed office mail apps and office bloat etc. in it.. And Airwatch MDM is probably thinking that it's a phone itself as it downloaded office bloat into that space and outside of it at device level, there are no restrictions wrt strict passwords etc.
I don't think it's possible to create more than one secure folder which is a shame but for me it's ok because office stuff is in a secure space and I can get rid of it when I want to.
It will be good to know more info on this topic.
