Introduction + I need help with visual taps/feedback - Introductions

Sup, I'm a videogame player. Anyways, I need help with visual taps, I know how to enable them, but is there a way to extend the fade time? Is it modifiable?

slider/locker ideas...

Hello!
This forum is a wealth of resources and knoledge, so thanks so much to all the people here... I'm rather new to the world of WM, so I need to learn lots of things - fast!
Anyway, I have a question/request that I don't know where to post - please guide me! It's not about TyTNII in particular but for other devices as well:
I find the way that the device locks down very awkward and unintuitive - I don't want to be reaching for the power button just to see if I have any messages etc! So I was thinking about iPhone's slider, and lo and behold, google gave me a couple of alternatives. Sleeeeeek! I thought, but not so much so after installing them.
My ideal screen/button locker would:
-turn off the screen after a specified amount of seconds
-sense when the screen is touched, or a key is pressed, and light up the screen at a low light level, awaiting for the move to unlock the device
-it would NOT look like iPhone!!! Why on earth should it?? I mean, the slider is very neat as an interface thingy, efficient and easy to use, but I don't want to have a different interface with it. So, I would like to keep just the slider, and still be able to see my Home Screen - I simply do not need another one...
So, the question is, is there such a thing? Or, can a slider applet be customized so?
Thanks to everyone, and have a happy holiday season!
there are a lot of sliders around.. just gotta search. and as for the screen dim and off stuff.. it comes with most of that as settings options
Well... I did look around and searched quite a bit, did not find anything that comes near my description... would you have a name/idea?
Thanks again,
T

Well, yes, that's the first I tried, but I didn't find a way to keep only the slider itself, as I described above...?
Anyone...?

[Q] Disable answer "buttons" and leave only "slider"?

Is it possible to to disable the buttons (answer/ignore) and use Only slider as answering alternative? Cause I hate when the buttons are "selected" (think so) when it's in my pocket and I answer/ignore by mistake whilst picking it up.
I am currently using "Full screen caller ID", and it has the option to use only sliders, but after recent updates it refuse to answer, and I must use the back button to go to original answering mode, and there either use slider or buttons; which I find to be more random in usage than controlled by factors.
So, if anyone know of a way to to this for me, I would be thankful.
Sincerly,
/Martin
I have the same problem, I hope that someone maybe know this answer.

Volume keys skip music track on ICS

Hello everyone!
Before i begin, i wanna apologize if this question has already been answered, i'm new and not so good in searching.
Anyway, before TeamHacksung's ICS i've been using GalnetMiui, and a mod called Skip Volume Track, which basically changed the track using longpress of volume buttons without lighting up the screen.
There is a similar feature in PlayerPro music player, but it lights up the screen which won't shut down afterwards because of the contact with my leg through the pocket, so screen just keeps being on.
Do you have any suggestions, mods, advices or aplications which emulates this feature?
Thanks!
As of now there are none. Wait for the full implementation of CM9. Maybe that would bring some new features.
Then we wait. I just found this news, so maybe that feature will arrive with it:

much needed here, too!

Sansa Fuse+ ROM

I own a Sansa Fuse+ and I wondered if anyone was working on a new rom for it, or if anyone could. As is the UI is decent but it's hard and time consuming to scroll through a couple thousand songs. If someone could make the volume up and down (the only physical switches) alternate between volume and a up and down scroll switch, that would be awesome, maybe a quick press on the power switch to activate and a quick press to deactivate, also adding more bands to the adjustable equalizer would be super helpful.

I think you should tell Sandisk that and hopefully they will update your OS

Searching doesn't really show any development efforts for that device, but you can request a forum for it here: *** New Device Forum Requests ***

Haha I want someone who knows what they are doing to develop it. If Sansa did it, it would take years to come to fruition at best. The only reason I even bother with it, is because the Fuze+ has a good quality processor and was proven to put out less harmonic distortion then other mp3 players and I am very happy with the clean sound quality.

Touch Button Answer

I know that a lot of ppl have been frustrated by the need to use a slider to answer calls on Android. I find it very annoying. I know there are a bunch of apps out there that provide a touch button answer screen.
But I noticed that at (least on JB), when I have a call waiting, the native android answer screen has touch buttons to answer or decline!
I was wondering if anyone would know how to tweak things so that we could get this screen to pop up for ALL incoming calls- or if this has already been done?
