Question Does Zenfone 8 support LHDC ? - ASUS ZenFone 8

Can anyone here who owns a Zenfone 8 please tell if it supports LHDC bluetooth codec.
U can check it in settings>system>developer options>bluetooth audio codec>see if there is an option for LHDC (it can be greyed out option as well)
I'm currently using Zenfone 6 and want to upgrade to Zenfone 8. I have Oneplus buds pro which supports LHDC. So, I wanted to know if Zenfone 8 supports this codec.
Thanks

I just checked on my device and I can see the LDAC option but it is greyed out.

So, I guess Zenfone 8 doesn't support LHDC. Hope they add it in any future update. Anyway, thanks for the response.

Does Tab S 10.5 support Bluetooth AptX audio?

Does anyone know if the 10.5 Tab S support the AptX codec for Bluetooth audio?
I can't seem to find it listed on any spec page but I noticed some other devices that support it don't list it in specs.
EDIT: Just realized I meant to post this in Q & A forum, can a mod move it for me please? Sorry.
It does support it. It's shown on the back of the box if you want to see for yourself.

Does Mi5 support aptX HD 24-bit codec by Qualcomm?

So what about aptX? Anyone know if mi5 support it or if not. Is it going to be supported thanks to master chiefs from XDA?

apt-x on Mi A2? Yesss! i did it!

Сamaradas! I suddenly get apt-x on last 14 firmware Android 8.1.0_V9.6.14.0.ODIMIFE BETA via the Magisc module.
Prior to this, all attempts were unsuccessful!
See screenshots. (sorry Russian locale)
I feel the difference in sound.
bt headphones defined as apt-x mode and apt-x was also in the developer’s menu (no need to set manually)
must need that module?

My Sony MDR-1000X headphones support LDAC, but LDAC would not work for me even with the second October update. aptX and aptX HD are both working when connected to my devices that support those standards.

Honor Play COR-L29 Widevine L3 after update 9.0

Hi, anyone facing this problem after the update? I'm pretty sure before the update i can play Netflix in HD.

Well on an Honor Play telegram group a member said the same thing I'm afraid .. I'm still on Oreo .. which is scary to know that it could downgrade you widevine security level ! That's definitely odd
Same issue here. Widevine at L3
Can anyone who is still on oreo confirm this ?

For my device, COR-L29, both Android Oreo and Pie have Widevine Level L3.
Looks like all Pie updates downgrades Widevine Level to 3, the Huawei P Smart 2019 has the same problem. The Honor 8X with Oreo has Widevine Level 1. I hope the Honor and Haewei brings out a update soon to get Widevine Level 1 again. Does anybody has information about this?

Maybe if we report it in an official honor forum they will see it. But is there a global forum? I only found the india one.
Same here, can't even open Netflix, it says "device error"... ( after reboot it doesn't say it again)
UK L29 was L1 before update to Pie.
Now L3.

Well that's obviously an entirely different problem.
I contacted Honor support Europe about Widevine today. The only thing they say is 'keep checking Facebook and Twitter'..........I have the feeling that Widevine Level 1 is not coming for our phone.
yeah. it's L1 in oreo and L3 in Pie. unfortunately
Can also confirm this. L3 on Pie.
Does that mean though, that it's just a software bug and that it can be fixed?
Any hack / patch for this out yet?
Edit: Ok, so some more info regarding the situation after I have talked to the support guy from Netflix.
Apparently the Honor Play is not supported and never has been (according to the support guy), hence why it is not on the list of supported devices.
I asked him, whether there could be devices, that support HD playback but are not on the list, which he denied.
However, my Nokia 7.1 is not on the list and it does support HD playback (there is an HD icon, whereas there is no icon on my Honor Play).
There is, however, one more thing. On the list of supported HD devices, there is this:
Motorola DROID Turbo 2 (XT1585) *HD playback only on Android 6 (Marshmallow)
Out of curiosity I checked the latest firmware for this phone and it is 7.0 . So I guess there have been cases where the HD functionality disappeared after an update.
Maybe some Motorola DROID Turbo 2 owners can confirm?

Bluetooth audio wrong balanced

Hi to everyone,
I've installed the latest build of the Xiaomi eu weekly rom (9.12.9) and when I use bluetooth devices for the audio the sound is balanced mostly in the left channel, I know that there is an accessibility option to partially fix this issue but there is a very high lost of sound quality. I also experienced this issue with the Extended UI rom but thah was fixed by flash the latest firmware of the official MIUI global build, but this fix didn't work with the xiaomi eu rom. If anyone have some suggestion please let me know.
Thanks in advice.

In my case I don't think is a problem of the earphones because with any other device they work flawless.
