Question No Service. Help needed! - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Hi everyone,
Couple of days ago my phone had lost connection to the cellular network on both sims. Just says no service. Tried resetting it to the factory settings and also resetting the connection but to no avail.
Tested the sim cards and both work fine in other phones.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
Contacted Xiaomi but they were less than useless. Kept referring me to how to troubleshoot WIFI connectivity problems although this is not a WIFI issue.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I mean if all from factory I would suggest to change it or repair it in store guarantee....

Yes via official update. I was hoping for a quick fix but I guess will have to do the warranty return.

can you still see your IMEI number? If somehow efs partition got corrupted, you'll lose your imei and hence cannot use cellular networks.
Just claim the warranty, it's easier.

Mobile Data

Hello,
A friend of mine has the RAZR i and suddenly on one day his mobile data didn't work anymore for an unknown reason. Wie tried almost everything that came into my mind (reboot, take out SIM, check all the settings...).
The problem is, he doesn't want to factory reset (of course) cause he has many important data.
The phone is on stock ROM, not rooted.
Thanks in advance.
I think only ways is to root phone and edit file with apn settings.

Hm.. That's actually bad :/
Is there any possibility to find out what has caused that problem? I'm quite proficient with phones actually (rooted, unlocked bootloader and custom ROM) respectively I have experience in phone related things.
Any other ideas or help?
Do you know, if your friend has Vodafone? Mobile Data with Vodafone doesn´t work in whole Germany at the Moment.

I have also Vodafone but had no Mobile Data Problems today. I am from Germany.
But i use only GPRS + EDGE... maybee its only UMTS with Problems? Try switching to 2G.
One time i have had the same problem. My Mobile Data was broken for nothing.
I couldn´t fix it and after a few hours and some reboots it was working again.
Think that was also a problem by Vodafone...

I have problem....
Has ZV4 rooted and make SIM unlock with thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-g4/general/guide-sim-unlock-t3229801
Its work perfect.
And I run ZV5 TOT the update ZV6 OTA, phone didn't has internet (mobile data) anymore.
All wifi, call & sms works OK but no internet with mobile data.
I have already put right APN before, set network GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto,
still not appears LTE or H+ sign / symbol...
So confusing, hope some guys can helped me to solved it...

It must be apn related.. Try a couple different apns...

APN was edited same as before when ZV4 its works like champ with LTE.
My problems after upgrade to ZV6 no more internet even with same edited APN.
I dont know whats the problems.

Its possible Sprint will locked via OTA to my phone so that any SIM card will not read / detect?
Its weird its all OK included data connection, probably failed to activation (when its ZV6 ) makes Sprint locked my phone via OTA.
Any solution for my problem?

I have the same problem, and I try all methods to resolve this issue like you write, but no luck (
Some tech friend said needed SIM Card from Sprint to take signal and internet will go on.
Be carefull not every SIM card compatible with LG G4.
I am waiting my package arrived from US, I will tell you if works

I have SIM carts from Sprint and have powered on phone with it, but sprint have not signal in Ukraine, and I have problem with DATA further( One way what I will try on next weekend - download with Z3X all firmware from ls991 with zv6 and working DATA and upload it to my problem phone. If will be luck - I'll write here

No service SIM on Honor 5c

Hi,
I ve had my honor 5c for a month and its great. Everything was working just fine and since last nightI dont have any service. I went to AT&T, they did everything that was possible, in settings, APN settings, network settings, we even reset the phone back to factory settings, and of course changed sim card, changed slot, everything... but my honor still tells me 'no service'. Can it be linked to the last update?
Please tell me there's a solution!

And it just updated this morning but the issue started last night and the update did not change anything...

Plz try another sim and see if it is working . If not then it is a modem issue . Try to revert back to marshmallow and see it will work for sure. Try to roll back

No Service/Signal with Android Pie

So I bought my XZ1C in the US, flashed Pie (tried SG, TH, FR) with newflasher/flashtool, since the official US Pie is not out yet, all files except Simlock.ta. All the firmwares showed full signal some time (3~5 minutes, give or take) after boot on, but none of them were able to have data access, and phone calls cannot be made. Xperia Companion doesn't fix anything. Rebooting doesn't fix anything. Same if I take out my sim and replug in, same if I choose WCDMA/GSM or GSM only, same if I reset network settings, and same if I flash the baseband files + OEM.ta from US 47.1.A.16.20. When I go in to the testing (*#*#4636#*#* if I recall correctly), all numbers are 0, indicating no issues with the sim card itself. IMEI is showing up correctly, and the phone even recognizes my carrier. If I rollback to Oreo, everything just works fine, whether it's US, HK, FR, DE, or whatever. It's been really depressing, and I appreciate if anyone could help me out with what is happening here. BTW, my carrier is CTExcel, based on T-Mobile in the US. Thanks.

Have you checked the APN settings? maybe your vesrion is failing to download the correct settings.
Look up what they should be for CTExcel, then apply them manually.

I'll give it a shot, but I doubt it's because of that. My carrier never required APN settings on iOS or Android Oreo; all it has in APN is something called "alpha" on my iPhone 5s.
I haven't the problem at all. which are reported.... OK... first at all, I have received a loop of reboot during the Sony logo.. After that I press power and Volume up for a few seconds... the phone vibrate some times (normally its means factory reset). After that it was started and I'm at the beginning...

Ok, I used my home-country SIM card, and enabled roaming, it worked, with AT&T network connected. Changing the APN to my US carrier's didn't solve the problem, however, so I suppose I shall just contact my carrier then. Thanks, bro.

It is a long shot but go to settings/general management/reset/reset network settings, then reboot the phone.

I rely heavily on internet, and lose my not so many marbles left when without it, I feel your pain.
From what I am seeing trying to look into your problem, you have done all that is suggested, other than a service centre visit
Hopefully someone who has suffered but resolved this will comment and share the steps for you :fingers-crossed:

Have you check your APN settings?
Replaced your SIM card? (It might work on other phones but not on yours either to not sitting properly or something else. So try replacing it.)
Take your sim card out and try this.
Do a factory reset and flash firmware with CSC file (not home-CSC file, backup first. )
Let phone boot without sim card first.

You're not going to get CDMA to work on the F version of the phone as far as I know you can only use GSM that's why nothing that's being suggested is working. You need to get a GSM carrier sim card.

Your device is SM-N950F/DS.
You are in india.
The phone can't connect to 4g/Lte after the security update. 2G and wifi is ok.
Before the update 4g/lte is fine.
You tried your simcard on other phones is able to connect to 4g/lte.
Is this correct?
May i ask how did you update to the latest firmware? ota, odin or smart switch?
