Mic is working on recorder but in a call it is not working

Here are some minor bugs which i found till now ,some as RR bugs i think
1) Switching camera to video mode or front camera freezes the app. And using other camera gives some error.
2) while playing YouTube videos in landscape ,swiping from button or top doesn't bringup status bar and navigation bar. I think its RR source bug.
3) Sometimes phone doesn't turn on by pressing power button once ,have to do it twice.
4) Sometimes after unlocking, phone doesnt respond to touch (on lock screen only). Works next time i turn on screen.
Sorry I'm providing bugs without logs. I will soon provide logs aswell.

For me its working fine. Maybe try disabling ok google detection.

Yes you can just make sure you clean flash. Wipe data,cache,system.

This is legit the best thing I have seen. Thanks for supporting the device!

Can confirm, changing to landscape or video mode crashes the app. Switching to QR camera works but after you quit it crashes saying it can't connect to the camera.
It there a better camera out there? I saw some Xperia camera mods but most seem to be for other models. I only see one mention of using GCam but the version they used didn't work.

Haven't witnessed these problems yet.
A problem I've had is my icons on the home page have reset to default a few times. I've set it to locked now and nothing has changed so far.
Do I seriously get to keep this phone for even longer?? :victory::victory:
Amazing. Might be time to pick up a new back glass plate to replace the broken one.

As for me, I have been switched to Ressurection Remix Pie from Carbon Rom 6.1 this morning and I haven't seen serious bugs that affects daily usage but it's too early to decide. I have just observed some bugs that;
1. Offline charging (The Screen Does not turn OFF!..)
2. Front Camera (all camera apps crash on front camera)
3. Video Camera Setting (Not working on Stock - Working on 3rd party apps)
4. Some apps crashes instantly (but not often, rare)
5. Sound Effects (Mixer) are not working.
Despite of these these problems, the software runs smoothly and effectively. Pie is worth all these dev's efforts to test

For me also it happened just 4-5 times. And no touch response only once.

Which of the three files found in the mirror you are giving should be install for GAPPS?

Good question. I didn't try them yet, so I'm not completely sure what we need. Also, it's not mentioned anywhere how we should install them, all of them, or in some order. Maybe we need just the core. I'm a little busy at the moment, may try to give feedback later.

great work dev just flashed the rom is smooth and fast

I'm installed this ROM together with Magisk 21.1 and NIK Gapps Core and everything run smoothly, no major issue that were found so far. Thanks dev !!!!!!!!

I have also installed it in addition to Magisk and FlameGapps with no issues at all and it runs super smoothly just with a few little lag spikes here and there, but that's totally normal and could just be my phone getting hot

Haven't used a custom rom in a while (last was for Nexus 5X and Samsung Galaxy S4). Is the camera quality the same with this ROM compared to stock?

No, camera quality and audio are much worst. I would recommend you to use gcam. I'm using this version.

For me, WiFi does not work. My device scans and finds the network correctly but doesn't connect. No error message whatsoever. After dirty flash from Lineage 17.1 I did a clean install, too, but that sadly didn't change a thing.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Alright, found it. I installed the 2020-12-16 version at first, with the 2020-12-18 everything is ok.

The brightness is not blank but a little yellow.
Even if i scroll to max brightness, i have always the color more yellow... It seems like reading mode is on ...but not.

This rom is amazing, smoother than any other rom I ever tried, definitely smoother than OneUi by a long shot, everything works I seriously recommend installing it, my battery life went from 2 hours SOT on OneUi to 6 hours SOT on this rom THANK YOU SO MUCH DEVELOPER, we haven't had any new roms lately, specially Android 11, seemed like everyone else had an Android 11 rom but us

I use Termux but no SU notification... and command "props" is missing on shell.

You have to pass safetynet to make amazon and netflix work in my case

I get a boot-loop when I try to encrypt my phone. It worked without any problems on LOS17 aso. I guess I'm not on the recommended firmware. What is everybody using?

Do this steps
1. open rom zip (do not extract it)
2. go to META-INF\com\android
3. double click metadata open with notepad
4. for OnePlus 8 Pro users rename pre-device= instantnoodlep to pre-device=OnePlus8Pro
4. for OnePlus8 Users rename pre-device= instantnoodle
to pre-device=OnePlus8
5. ctrl+s will save it then you can close notepad
6. now do the adb sideload as usual

it works on all ROMs just not enabled by default.

Installed over pixelblaster and booted right up without resetting.. excellent work and nice rom!

Yes.. Couldn't sideload so used the flash all method and rebooted.. only lost root but easily fixed and kept all apps etc .

5 hours using it. Major improvment over existing ones. Oneplus settings working and nothing crashing....

Well, there is not yet A12 for OP8pro, so I can not compare. I am a OOS fan but wanted to try A12.
I Tryed already Pixelblaster, Arrow, EvolutionX, and another one, but all of them with something crashing or not working. Since these ROM's have developpers in common, next updates will be better than a Beta OOS still to come. As far as bathery concerns, did not try a full charge yet but, looking good (never had really complaints in all OOS updates).

That's no worries, I use gesture lock from the playstore which has always prevented anyone from using my phone and, in my opinion is more secure than face unlock.

Question Any Anx camera module for Redmi Note 11 Custom Roms ?

I had installed ppui android 12L and crdroid 8.smth on my Redmi note 11. Everything was working fine until I came across the camera. It was poor as hell. The quality was just bad and nothing else. I tried to take a picture of my assignment but the text quality was unclear and it looked like the picture has been taken from a Nokia feature phone with 2 megapixels. Even my friend was having trouble reading the document. I've been using miui documents feature a lot for my assignments and research papers. Then for the sake of availing that specific feature 'documents', I flashed almost every module of anx camera along with miui core services but they didn't work for me. Now I'm back on miui Leon OS port ROM which I hate the most because of stock Miui user interface. Is there any solution to install anx camera module on Redmi note 11 android 12 custom ROM ?? If there is any please help me
There is an Indian YouTuber "Tech Office", he often uploads custom ROM videos for miui devices. I have posted many comments regarding this issue but he hasn't replied to my single comment.
Why I'm requesting with such long briefings? Probably because I just can't get enough of stock android 12 buttery smooth experience

I tried to use that one too, but I was gettin the same results. Also there is no ultrawide and macro lens support in gcam (the versions I've installed). If there is any version packed with all features, good quality, kindly give me a link. Thank you so much

There is a trcamera app search it on google and you will find its official website.
It has all the camera modes as well as many other features. Its basically a gcam port.

So today I flashed ppui and installed this camera. I have also loaded xml configuration file and the quality was way better than the official miui stock camera as I cross checked some photos that I've captured before flashing ppui. But then my heart shattered once again becuase the video mode was just pitch black and it forced the camera to force shutdown.

Using this rom

I used the same rom. But after seeing the video mode crashing, I went straight to miui official site and downloaded the official android 12 beta recovery update. Its few hours since I have flashed this rom. So far it is so good. Also kindly let me know if video mode is working on your ppui 4.6

Hi OP, have you tried ANX for RN10? There wasn't officially one but as far as I'm aware someone managed to get ANX to work, and RN11 and RN10 have very similar specs to one another including the cameras

Yeah dude, I did try RN10 module along with miui core services on my RN11 spes. It didn't work either. All I got was a pitch black camera.

Oof, a real shame. Maybe we could wait to have an official ANX to release for this device. In the meantime as a suggestion to stock camera replacement, you can try to use BSG Gcam. I use the 8.1 MGC from here. Most stuff works here including the video

Recovery and GApps link are not working.

FOUND A BUG:
crDroid does not discover 5Ghz Wi-Fi networks, only 2.4Ghz are listed.
Also, if you set up it manually, it wont auto-connect to that network after reboot. You need to go to Internet settings for it to pick up saved 5Ghz network.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Wi-fi settings, try to find any 5Ghz Network in list.
Workaround:
In Wi-Fi settings, press "Add network". Enter network name, encryption type, and password manually.
GApps build would definitely boost installs. Otherwise great firmware. I like all "tap to lock/wake" customizations, and they all work!

Any working gcam on this rom?

Clean install, notification led light doesn´t work. Anyone else with the same problem?

is there any A13 with working notification lights? I couldn't find.

the light indication does not work, neither for notifications nor for charging. Enabling it from settings just doesn't work.

Thank you very much for the Rom, I installed it yesterday and it is very fast, but I have detected some problems:
1. Facial recognition does not work.
2. In some applications (e.g. XDA Developer) when you click on the login button the application does nothing. It is as if no one had touched that button. I also saw this behavior with the application. It also happens when I browse the default browser.
3. Camera applications do not work. The app opens, shows the camera, and when I click on the button to get the picture, the app does nothing. I have tried 3 different applications, with the same result.

Great Working rom. Does anybody know a working GCam Mod Kamera working with this rom/Android13? OpenCamera is not working unfortunately. Google Camera from playstore is working

But does the default camera work, or does that not work either?

Default Cam works. But no HDR and Picture quality is worse compared to a Gcam

I'm using crdroid v7.9, can I update to v9.0 without wiping system and vendor?

You'll probably need to do a clean flash, so wipe data, cache + dalvik cache before flash ROM

Where is the Gapps link? I cannot find it at the first post.

Can you tell me the compilation steps of this kernel？

My last phone (Redmi 4X, have crDroid 8.4) is dead last week and I bought this phone and immediately flashed this ROM.
Here's some issues I've encountered for the past week:
- Tried several GCam and the photo mode doesn't work. Built-in camera app is working just fine.
- Sometimes in-app camera doesn't work. There's no respons after I press the capture button. I've to go back and then enter camera mode again.
- Split screen doesn't work.
Other than that I'm happy with this ROM.

can detail the installation?
I'm afraid to install and brickar.
I already have the bootloader unlocked, I just need to update orangefox (I have one out of date for over 2 years), flash the rom and gapps?
