I had installed ppui android 12L and crdroid 8.smth on my Redmi note 11. Everything was working fine until I came across the camera. It was poor as hell. The quality was just bad and nothing else. I tried to take a picture of my assignment but the text quality was unclear and it looked like the picture has been taken from a Nokia feature phone with 2 megapixels. Even my friend was having trouble reading the document. I've been using miui documents feature a lot for my assignments and research papers. Then for the sake of availing that specific feature 'documents', I flashed almost every module of anx camera along with miui core services but they didn't work for me. Now I'm back on miui Leon OS port ROM which I hate the most because of stock Miui user interface. Is there any solution to install anx camera module on Redmi note 11 android 12 custom ROM ?? If there is any please help me
There is an Indian YouTuber "Tech Office", he often uploads custom ROM videos for miui devices. I have posted many comments regarding this issue but he hasn't replied to my single comment.
Why I'm requesting with such long briefings? Probably because I just can't get enough of stock android 12 buttery smooth experience

I tried to use that one too, but I was gettin the same results. Also there is no ultrawide and macro lens support in gcam (the versions I've installed). If there is any version packed with all features, good quality, kindly give me a link. Thank you so much
There is a trcamera app search it on google and you will find its official website.
It has all the camera modes as well as many other features. Its basically a gcam port.

So today I flashed ppui and installed this camera. I have also loaded xml configuration file and the quality was way better than the official miui stock camera as I cross checked some photos that I've captured before flashing ppui. But then my heart shattered once again becuase the video mode was just pitch black and it forced the camera to force shutdown.
saaalaaa qismat he harab he.
Does the camera works on your version.

I used the same rom. But after seeing the video mode crashing, I went straight to miui official site and downloaded the official android 12 beta recovery update. Its few hours since I have flashed this rom. So far it is so good. Also kindly let me know if video mode is working on your ppui 4.6
Hi OP, have you tried ANX for RN10? There wasn't officially one but as far as I'm aware someone managed to get ANX to work, and RN11 and RN10 have very similar specs to one another including the cameras

Yeah dude, I did try RN10 module along with miui core services on my RN11 spes. It didn't work either. All I got was a pitch black camera.

Oof, a real shame. Maybe we could wait to have an official ANX to release for this device. In the meantime as a suggestion to stock camera replacement, you can try to use BSG Gcam. I use the 8.1 MGC from here. Most stuff works here including the video

"MoKee OpenSource is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the users’ habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives.
Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee OpenSource. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop."

About performance mode is it working well?
Switch setting from Battery options then performance mode.
Because i'm gaming user :fingers-crossed:
What about camera? Its supports PDAF focus? There are some 60/120FPS modes? Or I need to put media_profiles like on other ROMs? There is one AOSP with 720p 120FPS camera, but the newests builds are not good .. And Im thinking to switch on this CM from Bule

There is an option to auto switch between power save, balanced and performance mode, so while im using power save mode antutu benchmark gives a huge 56.000 points. Edit: without any tweak

So only MIUI has it? Bad.. This PDAF is great.
Camera in CM is still simple, I think developers are working on that. But picture quality of this Rom is even better than MIUI. It worths a try.

Of course. You know, the MIUI has Slowmotion HD, but its not HD.. Its just 480p upscaled to 720p. I recorder TRUE 120FPS 720p SlowMotion and there is huge difference.. And will try this ROM, bacause on AOSP i got some drain by kernel .. Ehh so hard to point the best system.
And I got question. There is Miravision/Clearmotion? If not, can I enable it? Could you ask devs?
Any1 facing problem with downloading games from Play Store? its keep repeating download after finish and then error code 963.
Also Titanium Backup have problem too, cant backup its said insullfient insufficient memory.
Same bug with jenkins build.
Solved
EDIT: after doing small research with logcat finally.
This is because the 'Mount namespace separation' setting in SuperSU being turned on (by default). Untick that, reboot then try your Titanium Backup operation again.

I haven't found a video that shows the complete app list in the settings, in case that's what you're looking for. Hope this helps...

I have thought about this recently.
Maybe I can save/dump (somehow) the System/Data/Cache partitions and you will be able to flash it via ADB/Fastboot ??
Currently my TWRP will not work and it will stop on the TWRP start screen :/

About Gcam
The stock camera of RN10Pro isn't that bad and has some interesting features, but if you like more, like night, 360, portret and some better camera results you can choose a Gcam version.
The only problem with Gcam is that there isn't just one best version for RN10Pro.
There are several builds and versions with different features and highlights and names like SGC, AGC, BSG, LMC from different developers.
You can find all these builds on https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/
For matching with the smartphone camera and Android version you need to change a lot of settings. These configuration settings you save as an config or .XML file.
It is possible to download such files that made for RN10Pro, but because they are made by someone else for a specific Gcam build, it is mostly not perfect for all, which is the reason why there are a lot of config files for RN10Pro and specific Gcam builds.
You can load or import a config file from settings but mostly you can do this too with tapping on the black area next to the shutter button.
Some Gcam build expect these config files in a certain directory, which is mostly made with installation of the apk.
Sometimes it is advisable to load a library .SO or lib file too. Such a custom lib file affects the image quality and can correct noise levels, smoothness, colours, brightness, etc. Again this too is depended of personal preferences.
Loading or importing a custom lib file its mostly the same as with a config file. Sometimes the custom lib will load automaticly if inside the right folder.

There actually aren't. The config files are for the mi note 10 pro and the mi 10 pro which are different devices. They were also uploaded in mid-2020 so way before the announcement of the redmi note 10 pro. They were simply miscategorized.

Without any lags? How fast is the photo processing compared to the original camera app?
Full resolution photos possible or are all downsized to 12mp?

Hello, I tried the app (and several other gcam versions) and I am not sattisfied with the night sight. I did not modify the app configuration in any way, so maybe that is the issue.
When I compare the results with my older Redmi note 7 gcam, I consider the Redmi note 7 photos to be a lot better, even though the sensor should be inferior.
On the attached link the lighter image is from Redmi note 7, the darker from Redmi note 10 pro. In the image info both the pictures have 1/4s, Redmi 7 has 9582 ISO, Redmi 10 pro 12643 ISO, but is still a lot darker (f difference is minimal and should not cause this).
When I compared the manual mode I found out I need to use 10x higher ISO in the Redmi note 10 pro to get similar results as in the Redmi note 7 (see "
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/mn09nz
").
Here are the photos:
https://imgur.com/a/DeyuWEW
Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong? Should I load some configuration file? Should I download another gcam? Which one has a good night sight for the Redmi 10 pro?
I am using this version and it works very well.

Hi, that config file is forbidden...how do you access it in Gcam? (say if i was to use your config?) new to Gcam.
Just hope for a 108 mp gcam version without root to be released soon!

I add config file in post attachments. After download copy it to /GCam/Configs7/
In app you must double tap on UI free space and load file.

Thanks a ton.
A noob question - after double tap and clicking on "Update", does the app load the config automatically everytime I open Gcam?

I'm trying it on ArrowOS 12. It randomly crashes, sometimes with camera errors, can't connect to camera. There's a setting to save to SD card, but it doesn't keep the setting and doesn't save to SD card.
Confirmed! All 3 sensors are working in Pixel Experience+ rom latest (14/04) build except front camera.
Not sure about what else is broken.
Someone test this on Evolution X?
How does this work under the hood security wise? Any xiaomi background shenanigans going on that are still active in this module?

Also portrait and night mode crash after a few seconds...
Is it mandatory to use magisk to install this module or can this module be installed using twrp ?
Hello All! Just installed this MIUI Camera version over my original MIUI Camera coming with the latest version of the AOSPExtended ROM.
Everything with the camera is PERFECT! Only the slow mo isn't working.
Thanks!

I have tested this Magisk module actually on two different AOSP ROMs which come with MIUI Camera installed:
1. the latest version of the AOSPExtended
2. crDroid also the latest version.
+ the latest MIUI Firmware available
With the both "original" cameras coming preinstalled with the ROM I had the same very very strange problem in the Pro mode with MACRO camera - the pictures was with some strange colors too saturated probably, and because of that the images was NOT usable and the Macro camera in Pro mode was actually unusable ...
AFTER installing this Magisk camera (clean the old camera cache and data) the described problem above DISAPPEARED and the Macro pictures in Pro mode are working pretty OK!
But there is ANOTHER problem there in the same mode : Pro with Macro camera - the auto focus is NOT working as expected!
All macro pictures with auto focus are blurry
The GOOD news is that at least the manual focus in Pro / Macro mode is working just perfect!
I haven't found any other issues with both the "original" ROM MIUI Camera and this MIUI Camera Magisk module.
Thanks to the developer for porting it!
In crdroid it works excellent
Hi! I have Evolution X ROM (Android 12) installed on Mi 9T Pro (raphael) device.
I downloaded MiuiCamera v5.0 all-in-one for A11 & A12 (Magisk Module).zip
I want to report some bugs that I have got.
1- First opening screen has a warning text, when you press ok, application closes. I opened again, same warning appears and application closes again... Third time, you finally able to use this camera. (First installing only.)
2- My phone has a pop-up camera. I was not able to open front camera and 48 MP was not working. And there was some annoying random crashes. After installing 48MP Fix S (Magisk Module).zip these problems are disappeared which is great!
3- Portrait mode and 0.6X causes error.
-> "Camera error - Can't connect to camera"
Other than that, it is amazing! Thank you for your great effort and I'm looking forward to next update.
Just tried it on Android 13 (Thanks Project Elixir) and it just prevent all app (even this MIUI cam) from having access to the camera modules
Android 13 please
can we record with external mic?

There is any Hope, about that kind of this app will be able on A13? CrDroid 9.1 is on board, and i tried many ports and many tries with in every way but... Everytime - without working effect I was hoping that somehow one of the installation methods would work - any ANX ports have similar installation problems too and... I'm just stuck, alone, without normal camera app ( )

I installed LineageOS 20 from the Stock ROM Android 13. Yep, I did a clean flash. However, I found many problems here:
[Bug Report]
1. Camera keeps stopping. I can't use the camera at all, either the built-in 'Aperture' camera or any other third-party app (e.g. Google Camera, Simple Camera, Telegram, etc). And the torch is not working, the Torch tiles keeps showing 'Camera in use'.
2. The tiles in the Quick Settings panel (Notification panel) are frequently unresponsive or slow to respond, whether you click or long press on them. Here is the attached video:
Your browser is not able to display this video.
3. When using the Bitwarden (password manager), there is a significant delay both when switching to the Bitwarden app and when clicking to Auto-fill the password. Here is the attached video:
Your browser is not able to display this video.
4. File transfer is not available when USB debugging is on.
Finally, I hope this will help you to fix these problems.

Your issues are that you started from 13, I was a bit worried some issues would pop up but some people were telling me things were fine, I will go add 12 as a requirement to the wiki, that is likely going to be your camera issue, potentially as well as your USB issue.

So weird, I just took 10 photos and 2 video on the camera via the Aperture app - do you use Magisk or anything funny?
Flashlight toggle works for me.
And MTP works fine - I just tried - what host OS do you use?

Yes, it's very strange. Not using Magisk yet, and I only have MindTheGapps installed. The host OS is Windows 11 Pro v22621.1848.
Then I tried not installing MindTheGapps and the problem was the same too.
