First of all - sorry for poor English
I'm from Poland and I've recently bought brand new Huawei P30 Pro (not from official store).
I was trying to get update from EMUI 9.1.0.156 to latest version, but my phone couldn't find one.
I went to Huawei site and asked on a chat for help. I've got information, that phone i bought is from german distribution and this may cause problems with update.
Is there any way to update my phone?
Clearing cache and update data didn't solved my problem, erecovery and Hisuite too.

i purchased p7 while ago and then while i search in the internet i find that there is many models of p7 and mine was p7-l11 and it's australian model but i'm not from australia
so this model seems that it doesn't receive any updates and it's still on EMUI 2.3 and probably will not get lolipop update also
is there a way to make it like global model (p7-l10 ) by install another ROM or something ? so it can receive the updates normally

Most of the stuff is still in chinese on the phone. I guess the phone was made for the chinese market and I have a chinese firmware on my phone. Is there any way I could get an Europe firmware and install it on my phone in order to get rid of this chinese language?? I would appreciate any kind of answer. My model of phone is CLT-AL01 EMUI version 10.0.0.

i thought model AL01 is for China or HK and L09/L29 purposing for global only.
maybe you should change language on system & update or just factory reset only

I did try everything still the same. AL01 model so it seems it was made for the chinese market. I guess I will have to return it... That's the only way!

It was new, in the box with this firmware? Have you tried with HiSuite on desktop?

You have to write here the all firmware (Cxxx).

Need your help to solve OTA update.
I bought my P40 pro in Sep'2020 and installed Google in October '2020 with YouTube vedio by Redskull of Mr. Alex.
For your information that my P40 is running excellent, all banking, wallets, food ordering apps including all google apps running smoothly.
The only issue I have is that not received OTA till date after I installed GMS. My phone is on EMUI 10 and build number is 10.1.0.131 (C636E8R6P1). Is it that I have done some error on installing the GMS that restricted to get OTA update?
If possible please help me on this issue so that I can get EMUI 11 and other security updates.
Appreciate your help in this regards.

If you want my advice: stay on that firmware version. Google and Huawei do a lot of work to block every possibility to install and run Google apps. On the last firmware they make a lot of sh..s. I stay on 10.1.0.121. (C432)

I also think you said the right thing. Since all is working fine woth GMS installed better stay as it is till Huawei has its own operating system plus Apps galary similar to the Google play store.

I've tried following a guide posted here for a Aquos Softbank from Japan, but on my OS can't find "Google Services Framework".
I already download VPN Proton but I'm not sure how to upgrade. Always get same message "Can't upgrade outside network".

i was in a similar situation and after flashing other region firmware my play services stopped working throght hisuite
i knew what i had to do but all the softwares are paid to flash firmware .
so finally i took help of ministry of solutions and he helped me to convert my japanese model to L09 and now i m getting all the updates and even updated to emui 12.0 for 30$.

i know its a late reply but recently i got in a similar position so after trying all the possible ways i ended up taking help of ministry of solutions and he covnverted my model to L09 and now phone has updated to L09( nfc wont work)
for 30$. i knew how to solve this issue but all the softwares like sigmakey and chimera tool they all are paid and expensive so this seem the best possible way and i was in india so he did that with a team viewer the whole process took like an hour.i hope it helps somebody

Bro with the help of team viewer he ll change ur firmware region to global then u ll receive updates normally. My model is now L09
