No it doesnt work. U can use cube acr but the caller voice is very low.
If you have installed the original call recorder on 9.1 and you make the update over ota, it will continue to work.
If you flash the dload method everithyng is wiped and no call recorder on 10

I have a problem, I has the recorder app since EMUI 9, then upgraded to emui 10, it was working well, but yesterday got another update 10.0.0.173.
I just notices than the recorder call isn't working now and all my files from old calls disappear. :crying:
Does any other has the same problem?
Suddenly a notification popped up for downloading update for Android 10 based MIUI 11.0.1.0 on evening of 23rd August 2020. Pls see screenshot for more details about this update. There is nothing much visual changes, everything is MIUI based. Download size was 2.1 GB.
Hi, i am currently using android 9 but recently i am having some issues on this version so i wanted to update to android 10 but i wanted to ask if it's easy to enable original call recorder by huawei in android as well. Because in Android 9 i just installed an apk and it stareted working without root. Please reply thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm looking for a custom ROM for my MI9 that has support for my Air2s earphones that have support for the LHDC audio codec. I have tried the xiaomi.eu ROM which works great with them but the battery life with the rom is terrible. Stock MIUI ROM is supposed to support them but it doesn't work for me and neither does the popup that displays the earphones battery life.
I'm currently on Syberia ROM which doesn't have support for LHDC as I found out after installing it. It's supposed to be included in every Android 10 phone but needs implementing by the developer. I was also wondering if a Magisk Module would be able to do this?

Hey, if you want to use LHDC with Global/EEA version, update to 12.0.2.0, then air2s are working with MI9 LHDC v3.
If you have no OTA update in europe, switch region to "switzerland" and you will get it.

I switched back to Xiaomi EEA version 12.0.2.0 and then forced the 12.0.3.0 update and its working fine.

Just bought a Note 9 (USA version) running Oreo. I've flashed to the final version of Oreo. Next up is Pie. Signal is a bit weak compared to my Note 9 running Android 10.
Is it possible to install only the latest modem from Android 10 or even Android 9 (via Odin, from sammobile firmware) on the Note 9 running Oreo 8.1?
Not planning to root. Like to keep it on Oreo for call recording.
Don't want to upgrade to Pie or above since call recording gets messy.

I was able to flash pie baseband (modem) still on bootloader 1. Jus flash the CP only from the firmware package. Slightly better signal. Call recording still works (with less volume compared to Oreo) for both Google Voice and regular line using Boldbeast.
