Hello Friends,
Its a good news for Tab A 10.5 (2018) users for it started to receive official android 9 with One UI.
Samsung has started to roll out update since a week or so. So just check your System Updater.
If you haven't got pie update and you want to try right now then just download full Stock ROM and Odin using
following links. Just Extract the stock ROM zip and select proper file in each compartment of Odin Flasher.

Latest Odin Version = https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UUsCl3Z0yNQWijHOCmuI88t8coTcyQoT
Latest Samsung Android Drivers = https://drive.google.com/open?id=14Cl0Rhb8R2Ot2O-5nKqvcnzXC1NifuUr
SM-T595 INS Indian version (fast) = https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VDCxqjF-6yhPHmB9HME4C6Fv5Vlg-IFw
Since i already got official update so i haven't tried flashing This stock rom. Try on your Own Risk.
Enjoy

hi all !
is there a way to revert back to android 8.1 when we don't like " oneUI " on our Tab A 2018 ( 10.5 )??
EDIT :
we managed to add Bixby Voice on a Tab A 2018 ( 10.5 ) and running on Android 8.1 however BV appears to be unavailable when upgrading to Android Pie
the other tablet we have ( Galaxy Tab A 10.1 , 2019 on android pie ) is displaying a message " Bixby Voice is not available in your country " however , we can't figure out what country is actually deemed as the current country since we are connecting with same Wi-Fi connection and getting two different results.
take care
marc
Hello forum.
I am on the latest BTU UK version
Of android 10, but I wish to
return to pie. Do I basically just flash
A pie stock ROM? I Want to
Use the light ROM or galaxy project ROM .... So is it straightforward?
Thank you
GARY
Check current bootloader version if it is higher than on old pie firmware than it is a no go otherwise just use Odin
You can flash Pie, version N960FXXS4CSK2

So...SK1 wouldn't work???
Bootloader version is 5th character when you count back from end of build number. It will be S4 or U4..the number is the bootloader you are on.

Did you manage to return back to Pie?
And do you mind me asking why you didnt get on with Android 10 UI2?
I'm on Pie UI1, and I'm concerned about updating and 'breaking' some of the current features that work on my Note9
Thanks

Android 10 takes a bit of getting used to (so does Android 11 DP1 on my Pixel 3XL) -
I downloaded Odin versions of pie SK1 and latest android 10 build, as well as the twrp for the different OS, have gone back and forwards between 10 and different roms on pie, and no problems, as long as you got backup, odin and a stock rom
I tried downgrading to pie Odin reads everything but doesn't flash. It says write failed after a long time. I am using Alienware laptop I'm not sure if there is something I'm supposed to do. Any ideas. Thanks

This is best your note 9 is on a newer bootloader. it is not possible to flash the old bootloader required for android pie
I was able to downgrade my Note 9 from android 10 to Pie pretty easily, but that was with the 1st release of android 10 for the Note 9. I think the newest version of android 10 has a different bootloader. So you would need to unlock the bootloader before you can downgrade to Pie.

Hei. I want to reflesh my N950F. My version of build is N950FXXS5CSA6.
I wish to have Android Oreo on it, not Pie because of skavalex callrecorder.
Is important for me to have Android 8 best with NEE CSC.
Problem is i can not download anywhere for free
(ps. if i will do downgrade from Pie to Oreo on one of my Note 8 i wont get Knox x1?)

You can't downgrade bootloaders. If you are on Pie already you can't go back to Oreo.
You can look at the thread below on how to enable native call recording with Pie, I have never tried it myself but people report that it does work.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/how-to/pie-call-recording-wip-t3905737
You can download filmware from updato.com or SamMobile (need to create a free account)
Android 9 is nightmare. I checked now and even app Prey can not lock power off button when screen is locked. Alot of restrictions. Even service point using fenrir can not downgrade on Note 8/9 to Oreo?
I have an Exynos that has been bootloader unlocked. I flashed someone's version based on Android 10 last year and am looking to move up to 11.
Can someone please point me to a walkthrough? I still have Odin, etc. installed on my computer. Thanks.
*Is* there a path forward to get to Android 11 on a rooted international (exynos chipset) Note 9?
Hello,
I would really like to get Samsung experience Oreo 8 on my Note 9.
I am aware of binary versions and that a simple software flash is not possible.
But in the S9 community i saw this:
[ROM] [S9+] Downgrade S9+ to Android 8.0.0 [G965FXXU1ARB3]
It's common knowledge that if Samsung releases an update, it will make the performance of our cellphones slow and the quality of the camera drops drastically, you miss the performance and quality of your camera back to the way it was when you...
forum.xda-developers.com
It's a stock android 8.0 custom rom for the phone, allowing for a downgrade even with a newer binary.
So, is something like this avaliable for the Note 9?
