HTC from eBay Seller E Cell

Has anyone ordered a Diamond from these people? If so did you receive it ok.
I ordered mine on Tuesday at 3pm with express delivery. I received my dispatch notice and a recorded delivery tracking number on Wednesday morning. As I normally get 1st Class post the day after I was expecting it to arrive Thursday but it hasn't, neither did it arrive today. I gather as it's in the post system it's a royal mail delay but I've never had a problem before. (Also Royal Mail are the most unhelpful people around...long story)

Have you emailed the seller??. I bought a phone off him earlier this yr, a blackberry 8310 curve for my bro in Canada and it took him nearly a week or so to post it...wasnt impressed with his service and gave him neutral feedback. Also have you not checked the royalmail website for the tracking info??. Although that wont be of any use as its not updated till the parcel is delivered.
But i would email the seller and ask him what exactly is going on??.

Tracking system just says the item has not been delivered. All the RM tracking can tell you is when it was delivered so you dont know at what stage it is, just that it's somewhere but not delivered....handy I know. It is a valid tracking number tho as I tried changing a digit and it said it was invalid.

I'm in exactly the same situation as you, except one day later...

I've emailed the seller to find out more tho.

I've received mine today. Tis brand new (didnt realize the box is pyramid shaped :S).
It's got:

So i've requested a full refund. I should have just waited

Hmmm interesting, i just rung up totalpda and they still say its the 24th they will have stock in. Rung up Inkino and they are saying that this thurs or fri they should have stock in but their allocation has sold out plus they are selling them at £470 with delivery. Insight havent a clue to be honest, although their website says they 50 coming in...they are all sold out but also said stock is due in end of week. When i asked about their refund/return policy..they said you can return it but will be charged a restocking fee of 20%. Spoke to play.com and they are expecting stock in on 19th so have placed an order with them as they are cheapest at the moment. Still have my pre-order with totalpda as well as i will wait and see what happens with play.com...whether they deliver on the 19th or not.
Look on the bright side though, at least you will have a proper uk spec model rather than an imported one ie grey.

Yeah, actually what changed my mind was the issues people are having.
There seems to be a distinct difference in issues between people with the older 1.34 rom and 1.35 rom. So I'm hoping the UK rom will be even better. We don't really know how long it will take for the hard SPL to work on the new diamonds, and when HTC will release an update for the HK version.
I think at this rate it'll be out on T-Mobile by the time i get hold of one

Well i am hoping that the uk spec Diamond i get wont have these issues that people seem to be having with the grey imports. Still not 100% sure if ill keep it but ill have a few days playing with it and see how i get on with it. If i dont then ill just wait for the Sony Xperia X1 which is due out Sept or Oct according to the guy at Inkino. I would wait for tmobile but my contract doesnt renew till next yr so i might end up getting the Touch pro when my contract comes up for renewal.

Anyone had positive dealings with htcdirect.co.uk before? Think I might order from here, would do play but they order to billing and I need it sent to work.

I would imagine they are fine although they havent got a contact number...can only contact them via email.

Same reason as me, id like to order from them but not really sure to be honest. In the meantime ive sent them an email asking if they will definitley have them in stock and whether they are proper uk models. Also enquired about their returns policy etc.
If i get an answer soon, ill post back

Last week, I ordered Tuesday (11/5) night around 9:30pm. Phone was picked up by FedEx on Wednesday (11/6) afternoon, arrived at my house on Friday (11/8).
If it matters, mine is the Verizon Developer Edition.
EDIT: The web site did have a note saying like due to high demand, it may take 7 days to process. But obviously it didn't.

When i ordered demand was "high" and they said it would ship within 7 days.
Once it shipped it took 3 days from Texas to Maryland. VZW also.

3 days, ordered on a Saturday morning.

I ordered on Friday 11/8. It was released to shipping on Monday. But it still hasn't shipped. Chat seesion rep said 6 day commitment and i should expect it on or before the 14th. Supposedly they ship Fedex overnight

Ordered mine on the 10th. Still sitting in not shipped state.

That's odd. I ordered on the 8th. It shipped on the 11th and will be here tomorrow 13th. They do 2 day shipping. The first one I ordered was shipped the same day but I returned it for the discount.

I was never able to see my status. I got an email with a tracking number around 10 hours after it was picked up

I ordered 11/6, received it 11/11. On the motorola site, under order history it still has a status of "Not Shipped"

Mine status updated on the website when it shipped and I was mailed the tracking number. Same thing happened for both my orders.

Mine will be here today. Can finally retire the s4 and its cartoon touchwiz interface.

I was a little disappointed w/ the quality of shipping. The phone arrived safe and sound, but the Moto X box was stuffed inside a much larger box with no form of padding or cushioning at all.
I know it's all solid state, but I still didn't like hearing the moto x box sliding around. Not something you want to hear when opening $600 worth of electronics.

I ordered mine yesterday morning Monday and recrieved shipping notification the same day. Says it will be deliverd Wednesday with two day shipping.

I ordered mine on a Wednesday evening and received it the following Monday. I believe they have plenty on the shelf, at least VZW anyway, as mine came with 4.2.2 on it. To me that would indicate that it was built awhile ago.

Ordered screen protectors from Germany and got those within 2 days from protectionfilms24.com

Well, I won't be ordering from @slickwraps anymore. I payed $8.95 for 2day shipping, 2 days ago, and the item still hasn't even shipped! Wtf? Never again. I got ripped off.

Same experience here a few phones ago. I actually got em on the phone & they were very dismissive, claiming the order was a pre-order & basically I'd get it whenever.....
If that's the case, the expedited shipping shouldn't even be available.
I filed a grievance/complaint w/PayPal & got my money back.
I'd try Gadget Shieldz..... good prices & high quality product.

They're based in India, so, if you're on the other side of the pond, expect three weeks for delivery. Upgraded shipping is basically tracked shipping... doesn't really cut down on shipping time, but, it's relatively inexpensive.

A few of my mates who have ordered this have already received a message from DPD to say phone will be delivered tomorrow. Oddly, even though I've paid an additional amount for delivery before 10.30am tomorrow, I still haven't received any notification.

Yeah it's soo strange, what they playing at, I've still got nothing from them. Called Samsung and they said they're looking into and will email me back, although, if they send me an email tomorrow saying it's delayed or something has gone wrong, that'll be annoying.

I knew that was a lost cause as soon as they said they would get back to me in 24 hours..... Still nothing on my end btw.

I ordered an Aramid standing cover along with the black Fold 2 and paid for before 10:30am. Only shows shipment 1 of 1 and that it has been dispatched but only the case shows as shipped. Phone still shows pre-order ships by September 14th.
Not sure if both in one or will be 2 shipments. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

U.S. Wi-Fi only S8 Ultra 512 GB pre-order here. I ordered February 23rd, originally had expected delivery of April 15th, since yesterday or the day before it's April 19th for both the tablet and the keyboard.

We had a preorder bonus of a Keyboard in the UK. Normally they ship in 2 weeks rather than 45 days, but its been a little longer than I thought it would be...
Feel for you. I had the X906B delivered on Launch Day as preorder from Three...
They only did the X906 / 8GB / 128 GB version.
Current Backorders with Carriers in the UK Vary between 2 and 4 weeks.
Vodafone - 3 Weeks.
EE - 2 weeks
O2 - 2 weeks
Three - 4 weeks.

UK, got the Ultra on lunch day. Still waiting for the keyboard.

Ordered tab s8u on 2/16. Got the tab s8u on 3/ 16. This thing is huge. Arrived with the buds 2. Still have not received the kb cover. Getting anxious about that. Samsung Canada basically left me high and dry. Sent 2 emails. Sat on hold for live chat for an entire day. Got through on one call. They were not helpful. Said the same thing as the buggy order tracker webpage. "PROCESSING". The samsung canada webpage hardly loads my order when im logged in, and when i just input my order number it rarely finds it. I will not preorder anything again. A month to deliver it? They couldn't figure out how to send an automated "delayed" email? Really samsung? And not having the kb cover is very frustrating. If anyone wants to buy a pair of buds 2 hmu! Lol. I hope you all get your devices soon. This thing is insane. It's just not very handheld friendly! Constantly worried about dropping it. But it's so thin it's hard to hold.
Oh samsung Canada customer service did reply...like 3 days ago. After I received my tablet. Saying they're swamped. Oh and I was called dumb by the samsung official reddit discord mod/admin. For not knowing that the only way to get any answers was to call them. Guess all the other options are just placators?

Wow. That's a shame some appointed social media mod or admin felt they had to resort to that. Shocking and sad. I hope you get your keyboard soon. At least their live chat went all professional and nice for me, even though they came back and said they couldn't do anything to help me get my Ultra 512 GB any sooner than ~2 months after my pre-order, and that they were working as fast as they can. I have no reason to particularly doubt them, it's just disappointing.

purchase the tab in hk 2/19 and got glass protector on the spot, the keyboard folder got it on 3/17. I had to register online, samsung did not send any email, until its time to collect the folder/keyboard

I just got my email, too: "Your shipment has been delayed for 30 days", but the contents of the email are just "We apologize that your Samsung order #__________ is delayed more than 30 days." so at least, I don't think they're saying it's delayed even further than it already was, at least not yet according to my expected delivery date, since I ordered on February 19th, and the initial delivery date was said to be April 15th, and it changed to April 19th in the last couple of weeks or so.

An update: four days after the email citing a 30 day delay, I got another saying it's shipped. FEDEX showing it will be here next Tuesday.

We in Hong Kong collect the gift from the service center, hk s not like the rest of the world which rely on mail.

Ordered mine (ultra 5g 512 with keyboard) on March 6th and got it on the 8th !!
Nice surprise : it arrived with the cover keyboard even if it was supposed to be shipped a week later.

I got my keyboard and couldn't get on with it.
I ended up getting the book cover instead - Very nice indeedy!

I ordered my S8+ on Feb 18th, it just got pushed back to April 26th. Bummer.

Oh!!!!! Samsung just changed the date of my delivery of the Tab S8 Ultra 512GB Wi-Fi for the second time, now April 26th. It was April 19th up through yesterday, and April 15th originally (pre-ordered February 23rd).

Finally! Samsung has said they've shipped my Tab S8 Ultra 512GB Wi-Fi and should arrive two days from now. No word on the keyboard, yet - still shows as not shipped.
