I was using Mokee rom 6.0.1 on my MI3. I have flashed MK60.1-cancro-201602170241-NIGHTLY using TWRP on an existing working nightly build from the same rom. Before flashing I have wiped the data and cache. Now my phone gets stuck on the bootanimation. Kindly suggest how to fix this.
system1
Select system1 as default system from cwm recovery
Currently using cm 13.0,but can't upgrade to cm 14.1 or flash other nougat custom Roms.
Marshmallow custom Roms don't show error on flashing.
Using twrp custom recovery.
usually it's because of wrong TWRP version - use the latest.

You Have to Use Clean Installation.
First Wipe Dalvik/ART Cache , Cache , Data , System .
Then Install Lineage OS And Gapps .
Done that..but same results.?
which Bootloader Your Are Using ?
It worked..thanks
Hi. I want to install latest nougat version of Miui . I use customs since i got phone, it was on marshmallow. I haven't installed nougat, and now i don't know how to install it properly, without bricking device. I already bricked it, so im a little scared of installing miui. I have now ressurection rom with 7.2.9 firmware. Can i just install new miui rom? Or should i install marshmallow first, then nougat? Thanks for help.
Hi..
What twrp version you're using it currently..?, is it official or zcx..?, if official...i suggest you to switch to zcx twrp version for installing miui recovery rom. you can find and download it from here or original thread from here, after that you can flashing miui rom that based nougat version with standard procedure of installing rom as usually, wipe cache & dalvik, data and system then go install rom.zip. But just advice..just try using xiaomi.eu rom instead of official one..coz this rom already optimized for global used.
never wipe system!!!!!!!!
I have lineage OS 14.1 with f2fs.
What i need to do to install xiaomi.eu ROM ?

- Install TWRP 3.0.2.3 or ZCX
- Reboot to new TWRP
- Install Android 7.0 release
- Reboot - Never wipe /system partition manually!
- Done
- In case of any issues, make factory reset via system settings

i think just wipe cache, data, and system on twrp and make sure use ext4 for system, cache and data.
then just instal miui eu rom .
if error try reboot your phone to twrp again an flash miui eu rom.
I always do that from mokee or aicp or RR, and my phone just fine .
is that possible flashing stock rom with twrp? i tried few times and it failed

I've always updated miui via twrp and never had any trouble, only thing is i had to reflash twrp img and flash root zip.i download the update via official miui update app and then it reboot to twrp and install without issue
Wipe everything
Install global developer zip file
When reboot, twrp says no OS installed
Help pls
if the recovery method of flashing the full rom fails, then you have no other recourse except to flash via fastboot method.
take note of this "Please wipe all data in Recovery mode if you want to update to a discontinuous ROM version, or downgrade to an older ROM version using MIUI full ROM pack. If you upgrade from MIUI Stable ROM based on Android M to MIUI Developer ROM based on Android N, please flash it via Fastboot update. Recovery update might cause upgrade failure."

Did you just tried rebooting to system after flashing? I also got that error "no OS installed" in TWRP so many times, but rebooting to system with no problems at all.

Unmounted system before flashing ROM .
in my opinion why just not use rom from xioami.eu because you have custom recovery .

The reason is, that you can't flash OFFICIAL Chinese (Developer/Stadle) Rom with cusom recovery (TWRP). But you can flash anything esle. Like Lineage OS. If you want to use MIUI Rom, you have to flast a Xiaomi.eu ( developer or stable) rom. NOT OFFICIIAL CHINESE !!! If you prefer Official Chinese Global rom, you must download a FASTBOOT rom (not recovery) , and flash it in fastboot mode, with MiFlash.
instead of beating around the bush, why not follow the official procedure of flashing an official miui rom
if you are coming from a custom rom, as specified herein?:

When can we expect official RR for mi max 2?
It was already available for redmi note 4 which is having the same processor.
You have to wait for custom Rom until miui release the kernel source which is must have to develop a custom one. please be patience...
If you flash rom with out error, Even no os installed warning, you can boot into system without problem.
Hello !
I recently installed Pixel experience rom (android 10) in my redmi 4x. I used TWRP as my custom recovery. Everything was fine. Rom installed successfully and everything was working. The problem is : now that I have this rom installed I boot to TWRP( no problem till now) but when I exit TWRP (i am not installing or wiping anything, just booting to TWRP and then exiting TWRP) by going to reboot and then to system it shows the Google icon and then it keeps on loading forever.
Anyone please help out
Try lastest firmware and clean reflash
