sorry for misleading, I meant every file. Even though they are not use, blablabla
Still after i restart the phone, any file still cannot be deleted.
Bizarrely this problem is commonly caused by Microsoft Pocket Word, which can lock up the entire filesystem.
Check this link for a solution:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsmobile/thread/56cb29e7-a026-4385-b75d-4d38d4968292
Worked for me.
i tried the following:
copying a folder to the programs list in the file explorer then it dissapeared. I made a new file with the same name and it says " "storage card" exists, replace?", i say yea and its still there.
can someone "fix" this
thanks
I'm running Android Studio 1.3 (I think it was the latest version) in a 4GB RAM pc, I've searched about how to make Android Studio take less memory so that I can run it better in my low spec pc, so far I've found the following questions in the website StackOverflow:
***android-studio-is-very-slow***
and
***android-studio-takes-too-much-memory***
In those question people suggested to low the memory value in the `Xmx` attribute from `750m` to `256m` in the studio.exe vmoptions file the folder `/Applications/Android\ Studio.app/Contents/bin/studio.vmoptions` I looked in the offcial documentation here: and there it says that is not recomended to edit those files, they advice to create a custom file, but I don't know how to do this.
Questions:
1) Should I create a whatever.exe vmoptions file in that folder with the change? and what should I do with the original file? and how android studio would know to read from my custom file instead of the original file.
2) In the official documentation says that edit that file but it says that that file is in this path `%USERPROFILE%\.{FOLDER_NAME}\studio.exe.vmoptions and/or %USERPROFILE%\.{FOLDER_NAME}\studio64.exe.vmoptions` but I can't find the file in that path, instead i founded in this path `/Applications/Android\ Studio.app/Contents/bin/studio.vmoptions`.
What I did before asking:
Before asking i tried to edit this file `/Applications/Android\ Studio.app/Contents/bin/studio.vmoptions` but it says that this file is already opened by another program or that it can't be saved.
I did this with android studio closed and I pretty sure that this file it's not opened by another program.

You found out what it is?
The file is created by snapchat (v9.20.2.0 at the time of this post).
I've tested it on four different devices, and it showed up on three of them as soon as snapchat successfully logged in.
Android versions:
5.0.1 - file generated
5.1.1 - file generated
4.4.4 - file generated (Samgung device)
4.2.2 - no file generated
- The file gets recreated if you delete it.
- I don't know what information is stored in the file.
- File size seems to increase the more you send/receive snaps
I deleted the file, created an empty one with the same name ("2811fb90a1302h"), then in TWRP (recovery) I changed permissions to 0000. Upon doing this, snapchat was unable to modify it, but still functioned properly.

Beats me... I just nulled mine out, changed permissions, and pressed on.
Why not just ask the app developer? All would be revealed

I thought it was a virus haha because some people dont have it
What if you don't have TWRP. I havent rooted my phone and don't want to. Is there anyway to get rid of it other than that?
Snapchat creates the file
Thanks you for share
Guys, from my observations it is a trojan horse installed inside snapchat, so that every time you open it will dowload itself again, and I know it is a virus becouse everytime it apperas some strange things come to happen to my phone like it changes volume by itself or turns on/off music. So if it installes itself inside snapchat one of the ways is to simply reinstal it and stop enetring pornhub couse it comes from there XD
I have the same issue. I opened the file with a text editor and its only chinese characters.
I received my Note8 and I am playing around with it.
Something i like is using the spen while reading pdf.
I use the system app Write to PDF but I noticed that every time I open a file it creates a new copy of It and it's a mess.
I could not find any option or even settings at all for that app.
Any hint?
Thank you. :good:
Youre using a different file manager to open the pdf right? I noticed that only opening it through 'My Files' will result it in overwriting the original file. I used ES File manager and it created a copy too.
