How to get Dolphin emulator working on Samsung a6. - Samsung Galaxy A6 Questions & Answers

I want to play some of my old wii games on my samsung a6. However the current version of dolphin does not run on my phone and the 32 bit version can't run wii games. Is there any ways (root or non-rooted) I could get dolphin to work on my sasmung a6. Thanks
P.s I am new to xda so if I posted this in the wrong place, please tell me.

Have you tried that rom? It's arm64, so you can run 64-bit version of that app.

please tell me if there are. (i'm currently using IBM MIDP 2.0, but i hate it because it can't go fullscreen, are there any other emulators for this device?

win mob 2003 has java you dont need an emulator and opera works fine on hw 65's
You can install a repacked version of Opera Mini 5 on your device. The official package doesn't support it, but in fact it run's perfectly.

[Guide][HOW-TO]Run Tegra 2 Games on the Droid Bionic

Ok guys, I've read that it was possible and haven't actually found a tut that explained for our device how to get them working. So this evening I spent alot of time just doing it my self.
Warning: I am not responsible for what happens to your device.
This guide requires a paid app.
1. Download Chainfire 3D
https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
2. Buy and Download Chainfire 3D Pro
https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
3. Open Chainfire 3D, Go to CF3D driver
4. Click the check mark (BETA) EGL Driver and then press install driver. after it installs it will reboot
5. After that, Download the Nividia Plugin for the app.
http://www.multiupload.com/94PSL9M1YP
6. Copy the zip file into the internal sdcard, Leave it as a .zip file.
7. Open Chainfire 3D and go to Install plugins / shaders. and install the niviida plugin.
8. After this go to the main screen of chainfire 3D and click fix market links.
9. Download Nividia Tegra Zone
https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
10. Open Chainfire and navigate to "Per-app OpenGL Settings"
11. Find TegraZone Games
12. Uncheck "Use Default Settings"
13. Find Use Plugin and select Nividia
Now the Tegra Zone will open and run as it would on a tegra device.
You can find games to get in there / buy
Once you download a game you will have to go to Chainfire/per-app settings/game name and uncheck default settings/ use plugin nividia.
I have tested with 3 free games and they all work with no issues.
I hope this helps people who was looking for this.
If you have any questions I will help as much as i can.
Thanks
Aaron
Thanks, this worked great. I got riptide GP up and running on the Bionic!

Awesome find. Just bought sprinkle and it works great.

So further testing. The Samuri 2 game, works but has bugs. The menu to select new/load/ game isnt showing up. You can press on the screen blindly and try to find where they are. but i only can find new game lol. so playing this game is pointless.
Galaxy on Fire 2 works... but it's kinda laggy and has a "Shader Error!!!!" message in the center of the screen.
Gorilla Bob works, but again is laggy
May work better after OC
I'm thinking it may work a lot better after we are able to overclock our bionics, and too bad we cant download vendetta, says incompatible phone when trying to download.

I bought a ton of gameloft games for $0.99 (some special thing) on my Xoom. I had to download the .apks from the site (not from the market).
will the apks even install? or is there some protection thing where I can only install the games on my Xoom?

I really don't think that would matter. They should install with no problems. Copy the .apk on ur sdcard of your bionic and go in the file manager and install them. They should work.
I'm trying to get gameloft games working, any idea? I've tried and tried lol

Worked, but odd shader errors
Instructions worked like a charm. Got three games and they run fine.
Few shader bugs it seems...
Get "Warning: Shader Error!!!" on screen in galaxy on fire 2, i dont get any lag at all though like a previous poster mentioned...
The water in Sprinkle looks like a mass of circles instead of water...
The start screen in Samuri II is not visable, along with opening story screen....
an FYI for samuri II: To start a game hit the in the bottom left corner of screen. Then a grey box shows.. tap the left side to resume game. (got this off looking at my buddies photon 4g to get the location of the virtual buttons so i could play )
I downloaded Gameloft's Asphalt 5 from Android Market.
When I ran the app, it tried connecting to Gameloft's servers to download the bulk of the game's data. Then it said my device was not supported.
Do Gameloft games check a device whitelist after installing the APK?
Disappointed...
I'm having to use Chainfire3D Pro 2.8 Cracked Version.
Because the 3.0 Download in the Market is broken.
The 2.8 version unable to fix the majority of Market Links, I am only able to download one game. Dungeon Defender.
The beta driver installed fine.
The Nvidia installed fine.
But the Market still says my phone is incompatible with most of the games.
Does anyone have the Chainfire3D Pro 3.0 Apk that I can download?
Cause I'd like to see if that makes any difference with the Market Links.
Thanks!

Sorry, I do not support piracy, So i will not be-able to help you find Cracked Versions. If you want the app. Pay for it.
OK, so I followed your instructions, but the Market still says my device is incompatible, even after running the Market fix. The Tegra Zone app, however, no longer says that I don't have a Tegra device, so that's a good sign. Any suggestions?

[Q] Hulu on Flashback, Need Help, Is it possible?

I think I'm close, but I am not a hacker, I'm simply a direction follower. So, I've got no idea what to do next.
Here's what i've done -
I have flashback 8.1 installed. I have done most of the upgrades offered in 9.0, and am having NO issues with SOD so I haven't upgraded. As near as I can tell, the only thing I don't have is the new kernel.
I used the hacked flash player from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1077914
It's version 103.185.25. (I first tried the hacked flash that was included with the flashback 8.1 distribution, but got the "not supported" message from Hulu.)
Using the 10.3.185.25 modded flash, and any of these three browsers - Dolphin HD, Stock Browser, or Skyfire 4.0, I have sound, but no video. I have all three browsers set to "desktop".
I have that at 288, 360, or 480 playback. It doesn't seem to matter. Opera mobile doesn't seem to work at all.
I didn't have any success replacing that library file in my last install of Flashback 8.1, though I haven't tried since I re-flashed last week.
So, am I close, or will this not work? Should I be trying anything else? All comments appreciated. Thanks much.
11.0.1.152 is the latest version
Hulu checks for two things that I know of to watch it on the gTab. It checks if the Flash you're running is a Windows version of Flash and also if it is the latest version (although this check sometimes doesn't happen every time).
What I would recommend to you is to uninstall the version of Flash you have on your gTab first. Then (if you can) install the latest version of Flash from the Market. Then do what I have recommended in the thread below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1290504
Note: It seems to me that if you want Hulu to play without issues on the gTab go to Hulu.com and log in and then click on Account (next to your login name), select Privacy & Settings, and at the lower right corner of that page set your Playback Quality to 288p. The picture won't be crystal clear but all of the shows will play and play well on the gTab at that setting.

[Q] Sixaxis Controller on Android 4.0.3

Hi all,
For people who dont know what it is, SixAxis Controller allows you to play games on Android with your PS3 controller. In the latest versions developers included touch emulation, which allow to play games like PES2012 with virtual keyboards.
So yesterday I tried SixAxis Controller 0.3.7...this is the resume of that experiment:
Install. OK
Check Compatibility. OK
Pair Controller. OK
Create a profile to PES2012. OK
Playing. FAILED (No response to controller inputs)
Does anyone tried SixAxis Controller on Nexus S?
Which OS version are you running?
Do you have this problem?
Best Regards
I've tried version 0.3.9 on my galaxy s and it works fine except for the touch profiles which don't seem to work at all!
Btw, I'm on teamhacksung building 12 of ics 4.0.3

Yep, tested 0.3.9 version and the touch profiles still dont work on nexus s 4.0.3 stock rom...
Same thing happened to me when playing gta
playing GTA3 from NS4G ics only gave me analog stick & d-pad control...I even downloaded premade controller maps that people claim work flawlessly and it still wouldn't work for me.
Doesn't work for me!!
I'm using teamhacksung build 15 on Samsung Galaxy S (GT-i9000).
I manage to connect the gamepads but there's no response in the games... any idea??
Worked ok on GTA III
It was a little unresponsive but I think its cause I only have like a gig left...slow....phone...
I'm having problems too.
My Dualshock can connect to my Nexus S, it works on my homescreen with moving, but when I want to play a game (Age of zombies, Nova 3) it doesn't work..

Adobe Flash 11 will not sideload on new TF701

I purchased my TF701 last Friday and missed the boat on getting Adobe Flash installed before the August 15 Google Play cut off for Android 4.0.3 devices.
I tried following the Flash install instructions they have for JellyBean.
I've downloaded the apk files from adobe.
I tried version 11 and version 10.3.
After I install the file, it appears to have loaded, but despite trying every browser (including boat, dolphin, firefox), all I get is the blue lego with a question mark where video should be.
My device was purchased in Canada. Google Play says Adobe Flash 11 is not available in my country.
I usually open my browser after factory reset and they ask me if I want to install Adobe Flash Player. I say Yes and they take me to the Play Store to install the flash player.

Did you make sure you have the plug-ins set to On Demand, Never, or Always in the browser.
I always set mine to On Demand and it appears just like you stated above, until I click it, then it will play (hence, On Demand)
Try that...
Download Market Enabler from the Play Store.
I will try on demand tonight when I get home. I did try "never" and "Always" for plugins last night.
For those who are looking for Market Enabler, I found it at:
code.google.com/p/market-enabler
Through a combination of Rooting my device, markat enabler and/or choosing "on-demand" I got flash to work. Thanks to all for the assistance.

What's a tf701? I want one!
Joking aside, try chrome or opera. Those two give me the best flash anyway.

As far as I know the default Browser is a version of Chrome and this version allows the side-load of Flash. Chrome Browser on its own, as an app, has a Flash support built in, I think! On this I could be wrong as I don't use it because the Android version doesn't allow extensions and the only reason I would use it is if I could run Adblock. :crying:
Chrome on Android does not support flash. I go to few sites that require it for viewing video and wants an updated version.
I was able to side load Flash Player, from TB. I did get my TB file from a TF700T. I confirmed it installed and was working in Dolphin for Pad.
I have no idea it made a difference or not, but I rooted my 700 first thing. It's still locked and running stock (like there's is much choice for alternative daily drivers).

Chrome for android does not support flash. Google has openly stated it will never support flash in preference for newer and better things to come. Flash is being phased out. Deal with it.
Try Dolphin or Boat browser on Android, those are the two highest rated ones, most people on these forums say either one is excellent depending on your needs.

No need to be so snippy. Flash may be phased out some time in the future, but it's not phased out right now. And some of us depend on Flash to view live newscasts such as streaming CNN, streaming a weather channel, etc.
I switched to Android several years ago specifically due to Flash support. And I will keep my Android phone and tablet on a version of Android that supports Flash so long as Flash is still being used on the sites that I visit.
On a side note, thanks to Splashtop, I can watch Flash streams and videos from my PC, even after Android stops supporting Flash.
It is confirmed that Flash is supported and working in Jellybean, so there's still some time yet.

Yep, I use Boat for Flash without being rooted.
Chrome on Android has NO Flash support, at all. No plugin support of any kind, in fact.
The problem is that most sites are never going to get rid of Flash. A lot of webdevelopers are lazy, they don't want to learn HTML5. Thus, we'll need Flash for at least another decade, maybe two.
Did you bother following this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336
I love my android devices, but the lack of flash kills web browsing - and thats 50% of what many people use these tablets for.
If the new Windows RT and Windows 8 tablets have full flash support its not going to help Android or iDevice sales.
I'm getting really tired of having empty blank boxes on news sites where a video is supposed to be - even with the current adobe flash side-loaded there's still stuff that doesn't work on Android, because there is zero effort now to support it.
If the new Windows tablets provide fast web browsing with full Flash support that resembles a PC browser I will consider them.
I suppose everyone will argue that there will be zero app support. But for many people a tablet has to do only 4 things:
1. Browse the Web
2. Play audio and video files
3. Allow you to view and work with documents
4. Play games
If windows RT/8 solves the first 3 I can overlook the 4th. If it can do all 4 its a home run.

Struggled with a friend's transformer. Finally updated to Asus Jellybean. Googled helpx.adobe.com android versions. Sideloaded the latest version, and it works like a charm.
This is kinda strange.
Even the framework may be different, Flash works with Note 3 (4.3) and Note 8.0 (4.2.2) in combination with Dolphin.
Here is a Adobe Flash apk that will install on your TF701:
