Samsung M105M BootLoop- Please anybody help me? - Samsung Galaxy M10 Questions & Answers

Hello, how are you, I turn to this group to see if someone can help me.
I try to fix my nephew's cell phone days ago. It's an M105M. It happened that he was watching videos on Youtube, the phone crashed and he restarted it. From then on the phone didn't turn on anymore.
That is, the phone reaches the Android home screen where you see the lock pattern, but it restarts. It gets to that screen and it restarts every time.
I have checked the recovery. I only see that it says "fail to open recovery_cause (No such file or directory). In recovery, if I try to wipe cache and data, the phone still does not do it, since when I restart, I am still on the home screen and seeing unlock pattern and reboot.
I must say that it does not have the OEM unlock activated and neither does USB debugging.
I have tried to flash the same firmware with the same binary as it currently has, but ODIN only fails on "Set PIT img", "Re-partition failed".
At this point I don't know what else to do, nor do I have any more ideas.
Can anybody help me? Thank you very much.

Odin shouldn't really fail.. can you give nore details on how you flashed the image, and also what error shows up while wiping data and cache?
If data and cache wipe is successful, it might be a bad flash. Try wiping system and dalvik cache too before flashing new ROM.
Also you'll have to flash Magisk in case the encryption message comes up.

[Q] Cannot factory reset

so...i've got something that xda nor google seems to have an answer for
I'm having a problem similar to other people that i've searched but my options seem to be much more limited
i'm trying to do a hard reset on my phone...start anew, re-flash, root, etc
when i go to my phone settings...and tap on "privacy", factory data reset...then "reset phone"..i get the "erase everything" screen
here's the problem..tapping on erase everything DOES NOTHING...it just blinks yellow to acknowledge that i tapped it...but it does not reset..it doesn't do anything
it doesn't freeze... (i can back out and use my phone as i normally would, etc)..but the erase everything button just doesn't do anything
i've also tried the hard reset through recovery...i get the "E:Error in CACHE:recovery/log
(No space left on device)" errors...
so i can't boot into ANY Recovery
i do have terminal installed on the phone...but i can't install any apk's (package is invalid error)
if anyone can help me, i'd be insanely grateful...thank you.

First off do you have a Droid or a Milestone?
Second Have you tried flashing a stock .sbf file using RSD Lite
I have a milestone and yes i tried using rsd lite..
I did end up getting it to work...I had to take the sd card and the battery out....left the card out put the battery back in and it would work in recovery mode (although, i had to reboot it twice for it to stay in recovery mode) then the factory reset worked...
so i just need to get all my stuff back up to date and i'm ready to go...thanks though

[Q] Not able to flash anything via Odin

First, hello to all as this is my first post and please excuse my bad english.
I've a GT-I8190 that I'm trying to flash via Odin, but some strange things are happenning. All the process goes fine, but when I finish the upload nothing changed. I know how to use Odin (this is not my first time flashing a device), and I know what to expect from each option of the program, so I'll go to the main point.
As far as I cannot flash anything (I repeat, all the process goes fine and SUCCESS appears on Odin, so no NAND write errors, no connection errors, etc ...), I tried to do the last thing I could do to check my thoughts: I performed a "Nand erase all" (Odin 3.09). No PIT file, no CSC, no PHONE, no BOOTLOADER, only CWM on PDA. As far as I understand, doing this I'll loose bootloader, radio, EVERYTHING, and I won't be able to turn on the phone as far as it won't have a valid bootloader... so, when all process finished ("Erasing NAND" message appeared on log, and SUCCESS again when finished), I started the phone and... it booted exactly as if I did anything with Odin!
I tried to make a reset to factory defaults from OS, but results are the same: nothing changed on reboot (still have my apps, contacts, EVERYTHING). Manually uninstalled Facebook and AVG, but when I restart the phone they are still there!
So, question is, is there something I can do with this phone? It seems that NAND is write protected or something like this... Is there any eFUSE that prevents to write to NAND?
I don't know if there is another case similar to this one in the forum, I've searched a lot but find nothing.
Any help will be appreciated.
PS: BTW, I cannot acces to recovery menu
PS2: ADB reboot-bootloader does not work, it restarts the phone normally. I cannot test fastboot oem lock / unlock commands
Did you realize any solution? I have similiar problem.
try flashing with odin 3.07
Dont desconnect phone untill you see the main screen of your phone I mean past boot up
Let the glash finish phone restart with cable plug in
Same here
I'm having exactly the same problem. HELP! i haven't tried changing the battery because i haven't been able to do it, but there's something that should work

XT1068 stock fw fde trouble

Hi,
I've got XT1068, updated to 6.0 Marshmallow. In the past, I got it FDE (full disk encrypted).
Few days ago I unlocked my bootloader to gain root access on my phone using http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/simplified-modifying-boot-img-t3317605
everything went as expected, but by unlocking it wiped all userdata, so I wanted to re-encrypt the phone (and the external SD especially). But now, encryption fails, telling me "encryption fails, you have to reset your phone" each time I start the encryption, ending in a userdata-wipe.
So I thought about going back to stock fw.
After locking the bootloader and applying stock 6.0 FW, I tried again to encrypt the phone, but I am still unable to do so.
Can someone help me giving some suggestions, how I can fix that behavior and (mainly) how to get some errors/debug shown?
When selecting "encrypt now", the green android symbol with black background is shown for 5seconds, then the phone reboots, shows the bootscreen with the M, then it restarts again (after ~30minute) and shows after another 20seconds the message that something went wrong encrypting.
Ok it seems that I found out the problem in my case by myself.
Instead of using mfastboot.exe -w to delete the data and cache partition, I used recovery mode to delete userdata. I did it twice, since the first run, returns some errors.
After reset, I started the phone and got the fresh-install screen. I skipped mobile and wifi networking and did not entered google account details. Then I restarted the phone and waited for ~5minutes and tried to encrypt - everything works. Everytime I started encryption without waiting for some time it failed.
I hope I can save someone else some time, since factory reset takes ~15minutes each time you do it.

[PLEASE HELP] Phone stuck on bootloop (tried everything I know)

Hello! My Galaxy note 5 (SM-920G) has been stuck on a boot loop for a week now, I've tried everything. I've used "wipe cache partition", "Wipe data/factory reset", even flashed stock firmware from sammobile using odin. I'm still stuck on a bootloop. I am gonna proceed to explain the events that occurred before and after the bootloop in a level of detail that I'm capable of, also one that I think should be sufficient.
Events before the bootloop:
So here's what happened. I was using my phone as usual when I noticed that I couldn't play any music. Spotify, which I was using at the time, refused to play any song. So, I checked out Phonograph(music app that uses local library) and I couldn't seem to play anything from my local library either. I then proceeded to go ahead and open YouTube only to realize that I couldn't play a video on YouTube either. After much fiddling (I don't remember what exactly I did that caused it) but a YouTube video played, but I heard no sound. From here on out, I could PLAY/VIEW any media related file and such but I heard no sound. I searched it up and apparently a cache partition wipe seemed to do the trick (I should have dug deeper into this but this is what I found). I proceeded to the recovery menu and selected "Wipe Cache Partition" (Forgive me, memories a little fuzzy from here on), If I recall correctly, I got into a bootloop and I wiped the cache partition again and it booted up fine. However, there was still no sound, since it was late at night I decided to give up and go ahead and sleep for now.
The next day, when I woke up, everything was working perfectly. I had no idea why.. but hey, I wasn't about to complain. Fast forward a few days, the sound issue popped up again, so I proceeded to wipe the cache partition again. I repeated this a few times but it didn't work, so I gave up. My phone was booting perfectly fine then. During the course of a week or so (maybe less) I had done quite a few cache partition wipes hoping that it would fix the sound issue. I also tried calling someone, only to figure out that person on the other end couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them. So, one of these days when I did the whole cache partition wipe, my phone wouldn't boot up. This is where it got stuck in a bootloop.
Events before the bootloop:
So yeah, my phone was stuck in a bootloop. If I remember correctly I used the "cache partition wipe" a lot and even opted for the factory reset option. Which didn't work out either. I finally opted to flash stock rom today but over the course of some days I have been trying a combination of "cache partition" wipe and factory resets. Of course, my attempts were in vain. SO, I decided to flash stock rom today. I found the firmware I needed and used Odin to flash it on my phone and that didn't work either, still stuck on the bootloop. I tried a factory reset and cache wipe after the flash as well.
Relevant images:
1- Screen I'm stuck on
2- When I go to recovery mode, first screen that pops up.
3- The so called update fails, second screen that pops up
4- and finally the recovery menu pops up
So yeah, that's it. I'm currently in the midst of my A level's, so my days are pretty hectic and stressful. I apologize for the long post, first time making a thread on XDA. Please help ;-;

Was that Lollipop or MM 6 that you were on? In Download mode what does it say on that screen? Is FRP enabled?
P.S what country are you in?
Before flashing in odin do the format in recovery.

I'm pretty sure I replied to your private message already. On the picture you showed me it said the CSC was SLK and I gave you the link to the correct firmware for the device
You can also download the firmware to flash through odin here too.

You can't post any links because you don't have enough "posts" on here yet to prove you're not just coming on here to post some crazy links lol.

Alright so, my cousin somehow managed to get rid of the bootloop with some fiddling and the audio issues still remained. So, he tried to downgrade to 5.1.1 by downloading the firmware for it and the phone got stuck in another bootloop. Tried to flash 6.0.1 again and it didn't work, still stuck on bootloop.
I tried what you have suggested but I can't seem to get into the recovery menu.

N920C boot-looping or getting stuck. Any solution?

Flashed latest TWRP 3.1.1.0 using latest ODIN on an untouched/unmodified Note 5 SM-N920C. Tried to flash Khonloi nougat ROM, it was stuck in "Flashing system files" for a long time.. Rebooted to TWRP and tried to flash again, got stuck in 10-12% every time.
Then, flashed Stock Nougat firmware using ODIN, flashed fine. But, shows Samsung logo glowing and then either reboots or get stuck..
Tried Smart switch, says "SM-N920C is not supported for initialisation".
Any solution??
Edit :- Didn't enable "OEM unlock" as I didn't know at that time. Now can't boot in to Stock Nougat firmware..
did you find a solution? i have the same problem
Try flashing the whole firmware again with odin with only opytions (auto reboot, f. Reset time) ticked. Thats the only solution left. It fixed the issue for me few days ago.
Phone booted up after around 5 reboots when I flashed latest Stock Nougat firmware using Odin with "Nand erase all" and "F.reset time" TICKED and "Auto-reboot" UNTICKED..
Had to skip through the intial Setup wizard (don't connect to WiFi or do anything during the setup, skip right to Homescreen then connect to WiFi) or the phone would get stuck and/or reboot.
Now, whenever I try to update multiple apps in Google Play store, Phone either gets stuck for a 1-2 seconds and reboots/turns off or Just turns off alone by itself.
Doing anything else, phone runs fine..
Any solution to this??

Let me know if this works...
with "Nand erase all" worked..
Yeah you can do that if you want to erase everything on the storage(eMMC) in device.
As suggested by Greenman over Sammobile forum..
Still, phone hangs/reboots/turns off on load and also becomes warm on usage and hot while charging..
Cant say about that.
Hello,
Please i have the exact same issue,i have tried all of the above, flashed multiple stock Firmwares and Custom roms, wipedwith Nand Erase and PIT repartition, everything, but as soon as the phone seems to work fine, the issue comes back again (sometimes directely, sometimes few hours later).
Please it is driving me mad ive been trying to fix it for days, did you manage to? if yes how?
Thanks a lot in advance.
