Cannot pair FE 5G with Watch 3 - Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Questions & Answers

You also connect to the cell phone (after a reset on the clock), but the devices remain at: Clock: Finally check your cell phone - Cell phone: Will be completed (this can take a few minutes). Does anyone know the problem or has someone a solution?

Note 8 - Motherboard replacement - Calling Problems - Everything Else Working

Hello,
So my original note 8 was N950F 256GB Dual SIM bought in 2017. It kept on working fine, until recently it started giving the problems in mentioned order
a. excessive battery drain
b. not being able to charge wired or wirelessly
c. complete blackout.
I went for a lookout of a replacement 256GB , and was able to find one on AliExpress, risky as it always is, i took my bets to order one after some correspondence from the seller who seemed legit and helpful.
Fast forward 22 days, I got the motherboard, installed in my existing body and housing, and voila it turned on and apparently seemed to be working fine. However i came to conclusion that it was originally a N950N (maybe Korea Dual SIM) motherboard which was flashed with the firmware/CSC/baseband for UAE reigon , maybe it was done by the seller knowing my location for ordering and the usage reigon. KNOX status was tipped as well, but it is not rooted as of now (maybe reverted to stock) , so all root sensitve applications (banking , netflix etc) do work as well.
The problem is, though everything works as intended. I am unable to place and receive voice calls reliably. Most of the time the outgoing call never gets placed on the network and drops after waiting for 8-10 seconds, and the incoming callers inform me that my mobile was out of reach for them to ring me.
I suspect it may have to do with the correct baseband not being compatible with local service providers.
Seeking expert help out here for the guidance , download location and the right combination of the firmware components to be used to bring the phone back to a reliable voice calling status to be used in KSA region
All help is much appreciated.

Samsung S20 Not Registered on Network (Please help)

Hi Everyone
I purchased a second hand s20 6 months ago and i am no longer getting any network carrier coverage.
I took my phone to local mobile repair shop and they identified that my base software was South Korean for some reason so they factory reinstalled Android 12 with UK Software. (This still does not work and they are stuck trying to solve the problem)
I'm fairly certain that this issue started when i upgraded from Android 11 to 12.
Please can anyone suggest a possible solution for my phone problem?
Things i have done so far:
1.) Factory reset phone several times including separate network resets.
2.) Tested my new replacement Virgin sim card in 2 other phones (This works)
3.) Tried several working sim cards in my s20 phone (None worked)
4.) Confirmed my phone is not barred or locked.
5.) Checked that i can see other Mobile network operators (Does not connect when i select my provider)
6.) Tested in other cities to confirm it's not a signal coverage issue.
7.) And finally, my phone has the latest Android 12 updates inc local app updates
Thank you
Just to add a further update, i have managed to get my phone working intermittently through WIFI but i still have an issue when outside my home.

Your phone can be in the blacklist as some unpaid fees in the contract of origin provider you purchased this phone. I had exactly same problems and after pay all over due bills phone went into normal.
My S20 Ultra LTE keeps detecting a ghost SIM in the second SIM slot and is making my phone lost signal. Is there a way I can convert it from dual SIM to single SIM?

[Solved] Galaxy S20 FE Connectivity Issues. No Data or Can't Make Outgoing Calls

Summary Issue: Starting in March 2022, some Samsung Galaxy S20 FE devices started having connectivity issues with carriers. This specifically impacted my phone, a US Cellular-branded phone S20 FE 5G. Specifically, this was a problem for the SM-G781U model number. At some point in March, a samsung update was released that created a bug/connectivity issue affiliated with making calls or connecting to the carrier data networks.
Resolution: This issue can be resolved by flashing stock Samsung Firmware to move you to the SM-G781U1 model number. You do not need to be rooted/have your bootloader unlocked.
Skills needed: low
Note: you will need a Windows computer w. admin privileges
Steps
Download Bifrost to download the official Samsung firmware. Model: SM-G781U1 Version: XAA (this is the carrier-non-specific version)
Download the patched version of Odin
Use Odin to flash SM-G781U1 firmware to the phone. You do not need a bootloader unlock (takes around 15 minutes)
Fixed.
this is the kind of post this forum doesn't have enough of.
Thanks! My parents have been going nuts with this over the weekend. They have an unlocked T-Mo version used on AT&T. My mom took it to a store today and the idiot blamed it on the ROM and tried to sell them new phones.
I'm going to send this to my dad and have them try. I'll report back.
Thanks!
How do you get it in to download mode? I've tried the methods I've found online, but I keep ending up at the recovery screen.
NM got it.
I got it into download mode and sent the files. Log shows two files it sent, then it's just sitting there. It's been almost 15 minutes and nothing's really happening. Did I do something wrong?
Wonder if it's a Windows 11 issue.
Hi I recently purchased a refurbished phone and it won't connect to the mobile data. The first one i had do this I sent back. But now the 2nd won't either. This one says the model # is SM-G781V. Does the instructions you posted work for this model or is there something else I have to do?
Sometimes quick fix is toggle airplane mode on and off. You can reset network settings. Also look up your providers APN settings and be sure you add them in your phone and select that one.

I already tried this but sadly it doesn't fix the problem

S20 FE Cellular signal loss..

I have already replaced all the antennas, replaced the antenna cables, the antenna connection board, wiped the phone multiple times, installed fresh firmware with Odin, and even tried a new battery and screen. Nothing seems to work. I have inspected the main board and cannot find any broken components. I am hoping someone here can tell me something I missed.
is it everywhere you go ? have you contacted your network to ask about tower outages ?

It's not a network issue, it's an issue with the phone. It does not receive any signal from any towers, sometimes I can get CDMA signals to show up momentarily but not long enough for me to consider it working. I just want to clarify, I run a repair shop and I have been trying to solve this issue for a few days now with no luck, so I am hoping someone else here has seen the same issue and knows a solution
Did you find a solution?
I have a S20 FE 5G, which is working fine in general, but as soon as I am outdoor (with no WiFi), I am losing the cell signal or data capability every five to ten minutes for about one to three minutes.
This is very annoying and I really would like to know how troubleshoot this (logcat, ...).
Same issue here with S20 FE SM-G780G/DS I constantly need to restart my device for it to connect to a signal and let me use my mobile data

Same problem here. I already opened my device S20 FE 4G and checked the antennas unplug and replug, still had no luck already tried factory reset, network reset and flashing fresh stock rom and still damn no chance.
I solved it now myself on my phone. I opened it up and found one antenna cable plugged in, but not properly. Now it works great.
I followed this video and funny enough, I had the exact same problem/issue:
I also used this video for the beginning disassembly:
I guess, everybody can do it, but you should get yourself a frame glue kit, because the back case will not hold again after removing it. I ordered one at eBay.

Question Watch not activating data plan

Hi. I've just received a galaxy watch 5. It's connecting via Bluetooth to my phone (Vivo X80 Pro) but when I try to set up the mobile connectivity it's telling me "EE doesn't offer mobile plans for your watch"
Obviously it does as I bought it from EE with a mobile plan.
Does anybody know why it won't connect?

Contact your mobile carrier and let them know. They need to enter your watch's IMEI # to their system.

Did that. They said it won't work without a Samsung phone (I don't believe that) and my only options were to a) buy a Samsung phone or b) pay £20 a month for a watch that I can only connect via Bluetooth.
I told them they can have the watch back.
I had a GW4 lte on s standalone plan from Verizon. I bought a GW5 pro lte to replace the GW4. Verizon was unable to connect my GW5 to the same line I had or even a new line. 7 hours on the phone with numerous reps and 3 tier two techs produced nothing. The last tier two tech I spoke to said the watch was faulty and I should return it to Samsung. I was livid. I got online, went to Mint mobile ran my z fold 3 IMEI to generate the qr code and connected my GW5 with that qr code. 10 minutes and it was done. It's a standalone plan $15 per month, I know there are cheaper plans but I don't care. My watch activated and works flawlessly.
I got it working after what must be hours of work.
I borrowed a Samsung A41 from a friend and connected the watch to that to activate the eSIM plan with EE.
I reset the watch to pair again with my Vivo phone. The phone wouldn't see the watch to pair. Brilliant.
I dug out my old phone (Realme 8 Pro), set it up and tested to see if that would pair with the watch; it worked fine.
So my initial issue of my Vivo phone pairing with the phone but not allowing the eSIM activation has now progressed to me having what could be a fully working watch, but with a phone that can't see it.
I decided as a last shot, I would try some reverse psychology.
I connected the watch back to the Galaxy A41. All good so far.
With the watch working, I then connected the watch via the watch's Bluetooth menu to my Vivo phone. It paired successfully.
The Wear app on my Vivo then saw it, but couldn't set it up (assuming as it's already set up on the Galaxy).
I reset the watch again but left the Wear app on my Vivo with the watch visible in the "pick your device" screen.
It worked, including the mobile plan. All good. What a fecking nightmare.
