Hi all,
My gf got rid of her S3 yesterday after lots of problems and upgraded to the S4 Active on Voda UK. Great phone so far, but she's having a weird problem where on reboot or shutdown it takes well over 2 minutes to actually power off. The screen goes black as usual, but the notification light pulses blue until it finally vibrates and powers off. It starts up in what seems a normal amount of time.
Has anyone else found this issue or know what it might be?
The phone itself is completely stock and nothing untoward appears to be running in the background which might be blocking the powerdown.

Hi, I would like to get some help with this. I am trying to fix an old N7000, abandoned for years. When switching it on, I get the "Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000" screen and after that the booting Cyanogenmod with the blue logo and the round blue arrow. It remains this way as long as the battery lasts. Any suggestions? Thank in advance!
So, my pixel 3xl started doing the boot animation in dark mode a while back. My 4xl hasn't done this since I've had it. Everything is on dark mode. Not change to dark mode, dark mode. Not sure why this isn't working? Am I missing something?
Anyone else experiencing this?

Same thing on the P4. Annoying but it'll be fixed.
Have you tryed enabling Override force dark in your Dev settings?

Glad I'm not the only one. That white animation is blinding... Hope they hurry up and fix it!

Nope. I don't want to do that because some of the apps I use don't play well with it. I do use DarQ to set apps individually though.
while I await better deals before grabbing a Pixel 4 XL, I recently updated both my OG Pixel and Pixel XL. to Android 10 and upon boot the OG Pixel went into dark mode during boot while the Pixel XL was white... just an FYI
Go to settings, if dark mode is on, toggle it off, then back on, then turn your phone off (don't reboot).
That fixed it on ny 4 XL.
Some have also said that rebooting twice does it as well, first reboot will be white, second will be dark.

You rawk! That did it for me!
I recently got the S21 Ultra, coming from a Huawei P20 Pro. On my previous phone I was able to setup a schedule for auto power on/off, but can't seem to find anything remotely like that on my new S21 Ultra. Only option I can see is auto restart.
Is there any way to schedule the phone to auto power on?

This is my first post. So, sorry for my inexperience here.
Device: Redmi Note 10 Pro
Software: MIUI 14.0.2 Global (TKFMIXM)
I just upgraded MIUI to 14 but I noticed this still persists.
In MIUI 13 version and MIUI 14 version that I just switched to, I get notification animation when the phone is locked even though the do not disturb mode is on.
The always-on display feature (for 10 seconds) and notification animation are on. There is no vibration or sound, but the phone's screen turns on and the notification animation plays. Turning off the lock screen notification animation every time is not very convenient. I have problems when I need to focus while studying.
Is there a setting or a way to prevent this? If there is nothing I can do, who should I report it to? I was not having such a problem on my Mi 6 (MIUI 12 Beta eu) device that I used before.
