Hey everybody!
I've been using pac 4.4.4 for a while now and I've noticed (how couldn't I) that my battery is draining super fast. For example: I have 70%, I'll go out for a hour and leave my phone home. When I come back, the battery percistance is about 55%. It drains even faster when I'm using my phone active. Any solutions? I'm running PAC 4.4.4 with it's own kernel and L_Speed Mod 1.2 from xda ( can't remember devs name and too lazy to add a link, you might know it).
Thanks in advance.

same, i have bad battery drain(not as bad as yours though) on AOSP based roms. Right now i switched to dmodv6 which is touchwiz based rom and im having way bettery battery life. You could try out dmodv6 and see if you have bettery battery life.

No, not really.
I just tried this app called battery doctor and I must say that it is a life saver. You can get it for free on google play. It's awesome
did it help ur battery drain?
some roms have 1 GHz bug that drain a lot of battery. Download CPU spy plus app from playsotre and check if it always stay at 1000 MHz (1 GHZ) or not. if it happens, reboot your phone with wifi off

So.. I installed this cpu spy app, it does show that my cpy has been most of the time at 1000mhz, but not all the time. Screenshot below. I'll try rebooting with wifi off now
Edit: it had no effect

ok so no 1 GHz bug. how old is your battery?
If your battery is 1 year old, the battery will have problems...

ok. how long is your battery life?
Maybe try a different rom, like cm 11 or carbon. They might give you different results. If you really dont want to switch you could try out this mod call L Speed http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/tweak-l-speed-v1-0-02-02-2015-t3020138 I use it and it kinda improved my battery life and performance.

Maybe the question you should be asking is why your percentages exceed 100%?

Hello,
As described in the Title the battery life on my Mi 8 is very poor. From the beginning it really wasnt that good and I could not understand how people could say it has really great battery life. Now as it gets older and the Battery degrades, it has become worse and i cannot even get trough the day.
AccuBattery says SOT of 3:20 and a battery capacity of 89%
Any suggestions how to improve Battery?
Thanks

Install a custom rom
I would recommend you install revolution os based on last version of miui 10
Clean flash this version

Well, I had similar problems on MIUI. First try to flash a custom kernel which gives you some tweaks, performance and battery update. If the battery is still very bad go to AOSP ROMs
Has anyone else noticed that since updating to Android 12 that 'Android System' seems to be using more battery than Android 11? My battery went to crap since updating and I can't get over the feeling that something is running in the background that wasn't there before under 11. I have disabled / uninstalled pretty much everything about like I had my phone under 11. Any thoughts?

my condolences.
listen mate it's a touchy subject, we don't talk about it anymore.
everyone here regrets buying s21 ultra exynos, specially now after updating to android 12.
install ADB AppControl and uninstall whatever u don't need
I have snapdragon and I've used appcontrol. I don't regret buying it, but since upgrading to 12 the phones don't sleep, they just suck battery. My S20fe did the same. Thanks anyway
Since the most recent update my battery is very very good. Easily 8 hours SOT
Snapdragon on 11 here and battery life is simply exceptional. I always stay tuned to these threads though to gather real world data on moving to 12. Please carry on.

snapdragon is good, i love if i had one
but the exynos is ****t
starting from chip, battery, mobile reception. list goes on.
So I recently unlocked my RN11's bootloader and installed Paranoid Android, cause the new MIUI 14 update was insufferable. But I'm seeing a little less battery backup on PA than MIUI, which I know why and makes sense, but I'm looking for a custom rom with better battery life, Confused between, Pixel Experience, Paranoid Android, Crdroid and other roms. Can anyone suggest me which rom is better for battery, (if you tested 3 or 4 roms on the device) Thank you
I have tested project elixir and pe plus and ive seen better battery live on projecf exlixir
