So, basically i changed oeminfo in twrp and it locked bootloader. However when the phone restarted I got a message saying "your device has failed verification and may not work properly". And since the bootloader is now locked and frp is also now locked i can't unlock the bootloader even though i have the code.
I think my device was originally eu c432, and i changed it to ru c10 through twrp. When i try and flash the latest c10 emui 9.1.0.168 to try and fix the verification error it fails to flash. Any help to try and fix my device will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to everyone in advance!!!!
if I understand correctly, do you still have TWRP on board? If you can reboot to TWRP, flash in this .zip file . FRP status will change to unlock.

Imo it's not eRecovery, but Recovery. Try to boot into eRecovery and use option "Download latest version etc" via wi-fi (connect the phone to charger or PC then press and hold Power and Volume Up. )
First line (option) on screen).

I've never used a testpoint, so I don't have software. And I don't own LLD-L31, just ANE-L21 (twin).
But I can give you a link to Board 1.0.0.42 for LLD (without losing imei, with IDT 2.0.0.9 + Huawei usb com 1.0. driver). Reliable source, tested.

You could use testpoint method, check guides threads! i wish you luck :fingers-crossed:
Tried several times to do the update through the settings menu.
Everytime it reboots the screen stays black.
I can turn it on, it vibrates for half a second. I see the Android one screen and the screen turns black. So i tried holding the volume up button and power button but no Dev menu.
So I thought it was bricked but after a few tries it rebooted and says it can't install the update.
I've attached the screenshot of the issue. I've tried it 3 times. It redownloaded the update and failed again.
Any ideas?
FIXED
@RomLover1999: gave the tip to reboot without a sim card, and that seemed to have fixed the problem!

Unfortunately the error is not informative. I had this error when installing November update. The only way I found to see what went wrong is to check logcat during upgrade, but I think it requires root. In the end I flashed the OTA using fastboot. Still didn't get this update. Try opening shell from adb and reading logcat. I don't think anyone can help you unless we know what is 5he reason for failure

The november update has a bug in it that it only boots in english with a simcard inserted , other languages make the screen bug out ( at least that's what I had ) and only boot without a simcard
Worked greatly
Hey folks, just reinforcing the answer: removing the sim card before restart did the trick, the update went smooth.
Thanks @RomLover1999 and @seend

Ok, my phone is not rooted.
I was having the same issue. In the past I've unlocked in order to enable camera2api.
December/2018 (V10.0.2.0.PDIMIFJ) to January/2019 (V10.0.3.0) was failing via OTA.
This is how I solved it:
Download V10.0.2.0.PDIMIFJ dump from this thread
Reboot phone to Fastboot mode (vol down+power)
Run flash_all_except_data.sh or if you're in windowsflash_all_except_data.bat
In my case my environment is:
Linux Fedora 29
fastboot version c7815d675 from android-tools package (just make sure you have the latest fastboot)
Using original USB-C cable
After flashing and reboot the OTA update installed normally without any issues

I just got this phone today and tried to update (8.0 November security update) and keep getting the same error!
I've tried with and without sim card, tried with and without my google acc, and tried with full battery!
Do not really want to unlock/install rom again... Any ideas?
I have a problem with sne-lx1. Software has been dropped. I can enter the phone only for fastboot & rescue mode. Recovery is not working and nothing else. After running, error mode pops up. The phone has no unlocked bootloader and has frp on. How can I restore the software? The commands from fastboot are not accepted.

Hello,
I spent nearly 5 hours to try to relock bootloader ( I have unlock code).
I read many thread, but I haven't found a solution yet.
I ve try to flash some img extracted from update.app but no result.
Can someone tell me if it's even possible, and if yes how?
Thanks to all.
Use adb and use fastboot relock bootloader "bootloader code"
Make sure you boot in fastboot by holding the volume down button while plugging the usb cable.

You literally modified the system files, hence why it doesn't allow relocking. Use system recovery from Hisuite and then relock your bootloader.

I faced the same issue after a wrong flash and had to do a test point, enter EDL and reflash using miflash.

Maybe if you have good luck, you could enter EDL mode with a deep flash cable
