Question adaptive screen frequency - OnePlus 10 Pro

Hi. I have a question. can not understand. there is a device 2213. cost frequency 120hz. at the minimum screen brightness, it rises to 120, although it should be 30. if I change the screen colors in the settings, it becomes 30. but as soon as I go to the main screen, it appears 120. at a brightness above 40%, the frequency is 10 hertz as it should be.

Brightness values in sysmon.cfg ??

Guys, today i successfully got root and first of all slightly changed the values in sysmon.cfg. Changed maximum brightness level (255) from first value till next four values, so there`s first five values set on maximum brightness, 255. And then the brightness gradually goes lower and lower till minimum (100) value. I did the same thing on my previous phone, Xperia T, and had no issues with this. What do you think, everyting will be OK with Z ? I don`t play games so much , more often surfing, music, movies. But when the screen is changing brightnes this is so annoying, so i`ve changed this values, but a little bit worry, because the screen is bigger and quad-core processor, so what do you think ?
Well, i guess noone knows exactly answer on this question, and in the meantime i changed the values, and set first 10 values to maximum (255) brightness level, and have no issues with this. Instead i have maximum brightness level of the screen when surfing and listening the music, but in games the screen still makes darker, when the temperature of the phone becomes too high, and in this condition i think the screen is better to be a darker indeed, to not to let the phone become too hot and not to damage it. But in the normal state i think that the screen in maximum brightness won`t damage the device. I hope so

Adaptive brightness won't go off

I've seen a lot of talk about adaptive brightness turning itself off but my problem is the opposite, it won't go off. When I go outside it's almost impossible to see the screen because it's adjusting when I have adaptive brightness turned off. I like a very bright screen and keep my brightness set the to the max but it refuses to stay that bright outside. And for what it's worth it always shows that brightness at max but again you can tell it's adjusted on its own. Any ideas?

Question is there a way to control refresh rate?

currently using adaptive refresh rate,is there a way to get it to drop to 48hz or lower when not touching the screen and screen off?using the galaxy max hz app at the moment and when screen is off goes to 48hz but screen on only drops to 60hz.on normal adaptive mode video goes to 60 hz like netflix and youtube but when i use syncler (formally tv zion)it drops to 48hz whilst watching movies and tv on that one app,is it possible to get it to 48hz on other apps etc?cheers
There is a difference between the android overlay refresh rate (developer options and galaxy max hz use this) and the actual refresh rate of the screen which is at a hardware level. I haven't seen an app that can show you exact Hz at the hardware level.
Said with the caveat I'm repeating what I have read rather an expert

Rog phone 3 peak brightness

How can I increase my ROG phone 3's peak brightness from 475 nits to 727 nits?
What I can find on the internet is it's achievable in MAX AUTO MODE.
But I can't figure out what MAX AUTO MODE is.....
If anyone can help, I'd be much grateful
Thanks
Max auto mode for brightness is where you turn on "adaptive brightness" option under Display settings - the brightness will then automatically adjust based on ambient lighting conditions . For e.g. in bright outdoor sunlight, brightness under Adaptive Brightness On settings may hit 700+ nits.
Manually (= Adaptive Brightness Off) the brightness may be maximum @ 400+ nits, when you slide the brightness slider to full.
Some custom kernels may give you option of adjusting the brightness manually to below & above the stock default levels; e. g. manually ramping up to 700+ nits or so.

Question Flashing maximum screen brightness

Hello again.
Does anyone else find that the maximum brightness of the screen tends to dim from a "normal" maximum heat to an overexposed one? It happens that I am using my mobile very frequently on the street and despite having the brightness at maximum, the screen is usually dark. But from time to time as the Operating System detects that there is a lot of sunlight and increases the brightness much more (that's precisely what I'm looking for, use that maximum brightness manually, not automatically). I can't find a way to adjust that brightness value, I thought "Dark Aware" would help me but nothing to do with it. Any way to turn up that brightness?
