Download ADB (Android Debug Bridge) from the official site
Unzip the ZIP file into a folder of your choice
Rename the TWRP IMG file you downloaded to "TWRP"And move it to the ADB folder (called"platform-tools")
Turn off your smartphone and start it in Fastboot mode by holding down the Power Button and Volume Down together for a few seconds
Connect the smartphone to the PC
In the "adb" folder hold down the Shift key on the keyboard, click with the right mouse button in an empty spot and select from the pop-up window "Open PowerShell window here"Or "Open a command window here" (depending on the Windows version)
In the PowerShell window enter the command "fastboot devices " to verify that the smartphone is correctly revealed, an alphanumeric string should appear.
Enter the command "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img”To start the installation of the TWRP custom recovery.
Once installation is complete, start the smartphone in TWRP mode by entering the command "fastboot reboot " and at the same time holding down the Volume Up button (release the button when the TWRP screen appears).

Mi flash partition table doesnt exist fix

Hi guys recently i bricked my mi3 and when i tried to fastboot with mi flash it said an error message of " PARTIITON TABLE DOESN'T EXIST"I spent hours searching for a solution but couldnt find one, many people had the same problem ,for some it was solved but for some it wasnt
i found the steps given to be really confusing and long so i found a simple way for you all.
Prerequisites : MIFLASH, any fastboot rom(compatible with your device) i had tried kitkat miui but never marshmallow .
Now follow this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzQ5V5ku7uQ do as he says but stop before he presses flash button
browse to the folder where you extracted the fastboot rom and delete all files except the images folder(refer to image 1)
now extract the zip which i have given and copy all its files (3 files) and put them in the fastboot rom folder(refer to image 2)
now in miflash go in advanced and in fastboot script select flash all.bat file (this will delete all your files on the device)
now hit refresh which will let your device be recognised by mi flash and finally hit flash.
it will take some time to flash and all ,be patient and you phone is alive again.

Any solution with this problem for Xiaomi Mi A1?

Flash ROM with MiFlash for bricked MI5

I had experienced below :
- Try to flash MI5 (with unlocked bootloader) with MiFlash (latest version) (Power battery at ~28%)
- It is hang at "system.img" over 20 mins, and unplug, become "bricked" (this bricked is just start up at mi logo, able to boot into recovery & fastboot mode)
- After installing "minimal adb & fastboot tools", some command, make it into "OEM EDL" mode and flash again using MiFlash (another version from some tutorial)
- Suddenly, fastboot mode screen is off, the power is out (I guess)
- Only see "qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 (COM10)" in device manager (before running into "EDL" mode, it is shown as something Android Phone Interface, not named "MI interface", but it is Phone interface, not COM PORT
- At the stage, it is another "bricked", unable to boot into recovery and fastboot mode, no response on all button combination, plug device with USB to PC, only can see "qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 (COM10)" is detected
- In MiFlash, it can detect also (Device as "COM10"), by all type of flashing ("Flash all" , "Flash all except storage"...), status always shown as "Missed hello packets, try to recover", but the time is still counting, whatever I tried many method
- It has been over 6 hours for this (~28% power), finally the window give detected device and undetected device in 3-5 sec back and fore.
- I give up to flash, try to charge the MI5 with to power pack (~4-5 hours)
- I wake up, and try to flash, it is success
By Conclusion, some points figure out
- Turn device into EDL mode will turn device detected as "COM" device, it means EDL mode is "COM" device while FASTBOOT mode is "Interface" device
- With tried many MiFlash version, some version detect device when it is "COM" device, some detect it when it is "ADB" or USB driver device
(Finally, it is succeed using "COM" device)
- "Bricked" device, it is not actual bricked, but just situation, my situation look like "bricked" are summaried as 3 :
1. keep start up at "MI" logo on boot (caused by flash failure), OS corrupted : this can be solved by correctly flashing rom
2. all has no response (when in EDL mode) : this is just an status of EDL mode, no need to solve, just continue your action
3. Out of Power : this cause nothing to do, just plug your USB to power to charge
Summaried Actual Step to Flash
(I had success 2 rom on CHINA DEV ROM & GLOBAL ROM) :
Preparation
1. Download OS Rom for fastboot from http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
2. Install Mi Flash (e.g. version "Miflash_tool_gemini_20160401.exe")
Download from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24521665358595574
* this version need switch device into OEM EDL mode
3. Install minimal adb & fastboot tools (minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4_setup)
Download from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24521665358595410
4. Unlock Device
a. Submit request from Xiaomi (en.miui.com/unlock)
b. Recevie SMS notification unlock permission is ready
c. Go to en.miui.com/unlock to download the "unlock" tools
c. Login MI account on device (check if the device is on this list of MI account OR check i.mi.com)
e. Run downloaded "unlock" tools (MiFlashUnlock.exe), follow the instruction
Flashing
1. Boot device into fastboot mode (press "voulmn -" + "power" button), and connect device with USB cable
2. Open command console, go to installed minimal adb & fastboot tools folder (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot)
3. Check if device connected in fastboot ready by command "fastboot devices"
4. Switch fastboot mode to OEM emergency download mode (EDL) by command "fastboot oem edl"
5. Open MiFlash,
a. browse the downloaded rom
b. click "Refresh" button to load connected mobile device
c. select "Flash all"
d. click "Flash" to start flashing rom
6. Waiting to complete (~150s my experience from both China dev ROM & Global ROM)
7. Reboot
----------------------------------------------------------
Finally, I had questioned are:
1. why some tutorial mentioned (not to mention) change to EDL is need, they can flash success
2. why the latest MiFlash on (http://en.miui.com/a-234.html) is not work, it cannot detect device (whatever it is COM(EDL mode) or Interface(fastboot mode))
3. Look like there are 2 version of MiFlash,
a. one type, its installation is packed with "Google ADB and driver, Qualcomm USB serial driver, Xiaomi MiFlash program..."
Folder named "MiPhone" in "Program Files" folder
b. one type, its only contains MiFlash program, folder named "XiaoMi", and its interface language is S.Chinese for me
4. Is it an must to flash in EDL mode?
If anyone had idea of above, please advise
This is the only unbrick method that worked for me - This one should be added to the index thread. The two listed there did not work.
I have the same issue, the method above doesn't help, adb can't see the phone. That's a problem. A computer, device manager doesn,t see the phone, a plug charger as well. I've tried many many times to switch on, after 1000 times it is started
Than I flashed a leastest rom, and ina new rom touch screen doesn't work. So I - stupid - flashed one before. That looked fine, but after work xposed installed it happened again
It happened me with
miui_MI5Global_V8.0.5.0.MAAMIDG_026a414948_6.0.zip (touch screen)
and
miui_MI5Global_V8.1.2.0.MAAMIDI_9fbec19bb6_6.0.zip (bricked)
In both roms I instaled xposed-v85-sdk23-arm64-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20160609.zip
I've got a feeleing the leastest roms are not comaptible with xposed v.85
work for me too
it s really work for me too but i flashed rom after my phone is not opening.
if i try to charge charging led is working but i can not start phone.
can you help me

the below quote includes steps to flash TWRP & Magisk from the link you provided, my question is:
after rooting via Magisk, am i able to get OTA updates from Xiaomi for the device normally or just like the old days, once rooted no more updates to come?
and is it sure that bank app will work normally after flashing Magisk??
FLASHING TWRP & ROOTING
Alright, you got all the software tools and now we're ready to proceed with flashing TWRP and Magisk.
With your phone powered on normally, plug your device into your computer with the USB cable.
Pull down on the screen to display the notifications. One of them should read "Android System" and indicate how the phone is interacting with your computer as a connected device. Switch it to "File Transfer." Your phone should now show up as a drive on your computer.
Open the "Redmi K20 Pro" drive on your computer and then open the "Internal shared storage" folder (it should be the only folder).
Drag and drop the Magisk.zip and the Disable-Force-Encryption-Treble.zip into that folder.
**SIDE NOTE: Some guides suggest that you wait until you're in TWRP to transfer these files. That's fine. To do so, wait until you're in the TWRP interface and then select "Mount" and "Enable MTP." Your phone's internal storage should appear as a device on your computer and you can then transfer the .zips.
Once transferred, unplug your phone from the computer and power it off.
Enter into Fastboot mode by pressing and and holding down the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time. It may take several seconds. It will vibrate and then boot your phone into Fastboot mode.
Next, connect your phone to your computer with the USB cable.
Once you connect your phone to the computer via USB, you should hear the computer recognize the phone but you may not see it show up as a drive. That's okay.
Go to your computer and open a command line interface in the ADB folder (if you're sticking with my recommendation, it will be the "platform-tools" folder).
**NOTE: If you chose the Auto Install option of TWRP, you can simply double-click the file "flash_twrp.bat" and then skip to the next section (TWRP INTERFACE).
**TRICK: Go to the folder where you have the ADB file adb.exe and click in the file pathway (where it says "C:\Users\Username\Downloads\platform-tools_r29.0.4-windows\platform-tools" or whatever). Highlight and delete that file pathway, and instead type "cmd". Hit enter and it will open a terminal window already in the proper directory.
**SIDE NOTE: If you installed ADB/Fastboot universally, you can simply open the command line interface by clicking on Start and typing "cmd" to open a terminal window. Once in the terminal window, you can "cd" or change directory to the one where you have ADB. Also, you can use Powershell, but you may need to preference each Fastboot command with "./."
In that terminal window, make sure you're in the folder with adb.exe and then type this command:
fastboot devices
This command looks to make sure that the Fastboot platform recognizes your device. Next to "Fastboot Devices," you should see a series of numbers and letters. That series of numbers and letters is your phone identifier.. If you do not see any numbers/letters, then Fastboot does not see your phone and you need to troubleshoot the situation.
Next, type in the following command:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
What this is doing is identifying what platform to use (fastboot), telling it what you want to do (flash), in which directory you want to perform that action (recovery), and what file to use to flash it (twrp.img). It is important to note that, depending on how you installed TWRP, the .IMG file may be called "recovery.img" or "twrp.img" or some variation of the TWRP version number. You can either rename the file to "twrp.img" or you can type in the entire filename.
Once you hit enter, it will read something like:
target reported max download size of 805306368 bytes
sending 'recovery' (65536 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.437s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.254s]
finished. total time: 1.696s
Once it's finished, enter this command to boot into the temporary TWRP recovery operating system:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Once you hit enter, it will read something like:
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 1.428s]
booting...
OKAY [ 0.138s]
finished. total time: 1.566s
TWRP INTERFACE
Unplug your phone from the USB. The screen will go black and you may see the "Redmi" logo come on the screen. After a few seconds, the TWRP title page will appear. Once the TWRP operating system powers on, you may be presented with the option to enter a PIN code (if you previously had one on your phone) or a passcode. Enter the PIN or code to get into the TWRP interface.
Once in TWRP, you will have several options. Click "Install" and scroll to the bottom of the file list to find the magisk.zip that you transferred onto your phone. Go ahead and swipe right to install it. Once the installation is complete, click "Reboot System" to power the phone back on normally.
That's it. Your Redmi K20 Pro should now be rooted.
If there are any problems, start the process over from the Fastboot interface on your computer (where you flashed TWRP onto your phone with "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"). Go through the same process, but before you install the Magisk.zip, first install the Disable-Force-Encryption-Treble.zip.

Bootloop After Xiaomi EU 12--->12.5 Device not in ADB

Mi 9t Pro version Xiaomi EU 12.5
Other users stable, booted normally.
I can't access Orange Fox recovery at all,
POWER+DOWN -- Fastboot
POWER+UP -- Fastboot
Force restarting - boot-loop with Redmi logo
ADB on pc -
./adb works, shows commands
./adb devices List of Devices (None)
Widows devices - Android Driver is unavailable
Tried manually installing drivers from sources: Google, Snap Dragon
Nothing works please help
Actually managed to fix it all.
Things I did:
1. Using a USB-2.0 Dock Instead of USB-3
2.Installing correct drivers - I used ones from Xiaomi Boot Unlock\Drivers folder
3. That was all done to ensure my device connected to pc with ADB/FASTBOOT
4.Opening console by Shift-clicking in the folder of ADB/FASTBOOT
5. Download TWRP file for your device and place it into ADB/FASTBOOT folder
6. Type "./fastboot flash recovery (name of the twrp file).img"
7 ./fastboot boot twrp.img
8. Success of booting into TWRP

Bricked Mi8

A Mi8 dipper does boot until the mi sign with 3 dots, then reboots.
It does boot into fastboot. When booting fastboot mode, PC fastboot can see it.
It boots into Mi-Recovery 3.0. ten, PC adb can see it
The bootloader is locked.
When using 'MIAssistant', Mi Flash Pro can see it.
Mi Flash Pro can read IMEIs, can wipe user data.
It does read a Device Versions 9.6.27. When using miui_MI8Global_9.6.27_7e6ce8a462_9.0.zip to re-flash, it gets verified successfully, the flash runs successfully through but the device does not boot -stays in the same status
Using MiFlash 2020 3 14
F:\miui_rom\MI_8_Global\V12.0.1.0.QEAMIXM\dipper_global_images_V12.0.1.0.QEAMIXM_20201021.0000.00_10.0_global
flashes forever (stopped after 3000 seconds) with status
$fastboot -s exxxxxxx getvar product 2>&1 | findstr /r /c:^product: "dipper" || echo mismatching image and device
(no change on the screen of the phone)
Best guess: someone did flash the device with a wrong image.
Is there a adb script based way to get back to stock rom?
(Yes I did search for quite a while).
Thanks for any advise.
Hey!
First, make sure you have the correct fastboot ROM for your phone. (https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.2.0...M_20201113.0000.00_10.0_global_b450e91e17.tgz). By the way, you must unlock your bootloader first. Download Mi Unlock, make an account and wait around 7 days. DO NOT TRY TO UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER AT LESS THAN 7 DAYS, IT WILL RESET THE TIMER. I waited 8 days, just to be sure. Make a folder on Desktop named MI8, or something, but cannot contain spaces, and extract the images folder from that link i wrote up in that desktop folder. Next, download Minimal ADB and Fastboot (https://androiddatahost.com/wp-content/uploads/Minimal_ADB_Fastboot_v1.4.3.zip), and install it in that "images" folder. Put your phone in fastboot, go into that "images" folder, where you installed Minimal ADB and Fastboot, keep Left Shift holded and right click, it should appear Open PowerShell window here. Click on that, type "fastboot devices" and see if it appears. In some instances, you must write like this "./fastboot devices". I will continue this in the next message, because i need to upload something for you.

Here are the commands that should make your phone work again. I had the same problem for my Redmi 8, and this worked. You must run one at a time, and DO NOT GET OUT OF FASTBOOT UNTIL YOU EXECUTED ALL THE COMMANDS, IT WILL PROBABLY HARD BRICK YOU PHONE (stuck in EDL). If they do not work, or they do not show anything in PowerShell or CMD, just delete the point and the slash at the beginning of every command. If you have any questions, you can ask me.
